“I had a family emergency so I had to leave town on short notice and she responded very quickly. She was nice and was responsive. She did a great job at keeping me updated and letting me know how my dog was doing. So thank you for watching Rex for me! I appreciate it!!”

“Ann is A+! I admit to being an anxious pet parent when leaving my 1 year old Maltese mix. He's a little guy, and still a puppy with a high energy level- and doesn't always pay attention to commands, so I worry about leaving him in anyone's care. I felt comfortable with Ann and her home from the very first. Ann requested a "meet and greet" ahead of time, and was flexible with her schedule. Ann has a cute home with a nice sized fenced in yard & screened in patio area. My fur baby took to Ann and her little Westie instantly! Ann sent me texts/pics to update me frequently during an overnight stay. Ann is easy to work with, kind, professional and responsible. When I picked up my Skipper he was happy and chilled out; not at all anxious, or acting like he had missed us terribly (lol!). This was my very first time using a Pet Sitter and Rover; I was lucky to find Ann & I highly recommend her. Thank you Ann for taking great care of Skipper.”
“Brittany is an exceptional pet sitter. She took wonderful care of my cat and did an excellent job in every way. She was kind, attentive, reliable, and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. She truly went above and beyond by sending me pictures of my cat, which gave me so much peace of mind and showed how much she cared. It was clear that she genuinely loves animals and treats them with love and patience. I am very grateful for the care she provided, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.”
“Janet was wonderful! She sent frequent updates and our dog was very content with her. Our dog is older and takes medications daily and Janet had no problem giving these to her, even when our dog was stubborn about taking them. We will definitely book with her again!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my strong attention to detail, genuine love for animals, and experience with pets of all ages and needs. I have hands-on experience training puppies with basic commands and crate training, as well as providing gentle, attentive care for senior pets who may need medication, extra patience, or mobility support. I’m also highly reliable and communicative I always keep pet parents updated with messages and photos, so they feel connected and reassured while they're away. My calm, friendly approach helps pets feel safe and at ease, whether it’s their first time with a sitter or they need special care. I treat every animal like they’re my own, and that personal connection makes all the difference. Pet care fits into my daily routine as a consistent and rewarding responsibility. Every morning starts with feeding my dog and taking him for a quick walk to get some energy out before the day begins. In the evenings, I usually spend about 30 minutes either going on a longer walk or playing fetch at the park. On weekends, I make time for grooming like brushing his fur or giving him a bath if needed and sometimes schedule vet checkups or pick up new toys or treats. It’s a routine that keeps me grounded, and it’s always nice to end the day with a loyal companion by my side. When caring for pets in either my home or a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and consistent environment. For dogs, I ensure they have regular feeding times, fresh water, daily walks, and playtime to keep them mentally and physically stimulated. I also follow any specific instructions the client provides, such as administering medications or adhering to training routines. If I’m in a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain the pet’s regular schedule to reduce stress from their owner's absence. I clean up after the pet, monitor behavior for signs of illness or anxiety, and send updates (with photos) to the owner for peace of mind. Whether it’s overnight care, walking, or short visits, my goal is to make each pet feel safe and loved while their owner is away.

I also am looking to change my career and hopefully become a vet tech soon! I have a fenced in big back yard! My home is spacious and I have my own crate in case I need to use it
About: Hi! My name is Sydney, Let me just start off by saying, I understand the importance of trusting someone to care for your "kids". I grew up with a household of furry friends! My family breeds Newfoundlands, Newfiepoos and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Many people thought my family was crazy for having so many pets! But I couldn't imagine my life without them. They bring so much joy and happiness to my family's life. Seeing their little faces everyday just puts a smile on my face! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in pet care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I am a 19 year old student and I work for Walgreens as a Pharmaceutical Technician. I decided to pick up a second job since living in Lincoln as a student can be pretty expensive, and what better job is there than caring for some furry friends?! I’ll have to be pretty flexible in my schedule and am willing to do my best to make this work with my schedule and yours. Like I said before, I have tons of experience with a wide range of animals. I will of course take your advice and suggestions into account when caring for your pet. Anything that needs to be done, I can do. From playing, potty breaks, and feeding, to bathing, grooming and some light training!

“Liz did a fantastic job with our timid but active Brittany Spaniel, Maggie. I could tell the minute I picked her up that Maggie was happy and relaxed, not stressed as I witnessed when using a kennel. We will definitely use Liz in the future.”

About: I have had dogs for over 10 years now. I currently have three dogs that are all under 8 pounds. Their names are Chiquis, Chato, and Pluto. I’m graduating in December, which gives me plenty of free time to focus on caring for your pet. I’m home most days and afternoons, so I’m able to give consistent attention, walks, playtime, and anything else your pet needs throughout the day. I have a large fenced yard where dogs can safely play and explore. Pets are always supervised, and I make sure they feel comfortable, secure, and cared for. Whether they’re inside relaxing or outside getting their energy out, I keep the environment clean, safe, and stress-free.
“Brad did an amazing job watching my 2 Bostons over a long weekend. They got plenty of exercise playing with his own dog and were treated like family. Brad also sent lots of photos and videos which I really appreciated. If my dogs could talk they’d say they can’t wait to go back!”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life. Back home in Missouri, my family has 4 dogs. I have my own Golden Retriever and labrador retriever that I have trained into warm hearted lovers. I am currently a student athlete, so I am available all through out the day to walk, check in on pets. During track season, my availability may change Wednesday-Sunday, but for the most part I’m in town all week. I live in an apartment, so I will not be able to hang out with your pets over night at my house, but I am experienced in taking care of family members dogs while out of town.
