About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for 8 years I have my own dog who just turned 2. The very first dog I ever adopted was kind of “scary” looking and played aggressively she was very sassy and didn’t enjoy the company of other dogs or people (she sadly passed away 2 years ago). While my current puppers is hyper active but has extreme anxiety and loves being around people and other pets. I also often petsit my best friends doggo who is a senior and disabled, he can’t use his back two legs and has a lot of medical issues. I know and understand how to work with dogs of all personalities :) I’m working on getting my GED right now so I have a lot of free time lately. I can work on my classes any time during the day so my schedule is pretty open. I can kennel your dog if needed, take them on walks, feed them, play with them, even cuddle with them!! I’m Karena, i’m a mom of one sweet cat Kimchi(spayed and up to date with shots) i’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have now grown into my cat lady era. big yard, and have a nice sized home, no children just my husband and our cat living there, we do live in dakota city rural area. I have a pretty open and flexible schedule so I have alot of free time available. My cat is the first thing I think about when I wake up and the last thing I think about before bed, it’s her world and i’m just living in it. I live in a pretty quiet neighborhood and have a nice sized yard. I also have a finished basement for play space inside, my cat has her own bedroom if that speaks for itself. I try to provide the best care possible for any animal, I feed my cat an all wet diet, she had a water fountain and whisker fatigue free bowl, she also uses health monitoring litter and has her own room for her toys.

About: My professional experience with animal care started with 2019 when I worked at a horse breeder. I then worked at a vet clinic for a year and a half as a kennel technician. I helped handle animals of ALL different kinds and learned so much! After that, I was a manager at a dog daycare and boarding facility for over 3 years. I was responsible for the health, safety, and happiness of our pups at our facility. As well as the pups that we walked and took care of in their homes. About: I am originally from Sioux Falls, SD and just moved back to the Midwest after just over 8.5 years in California. I grew up with a house full of cats and dogs. I moved to California in 2015 and have been house sitting and checking in on friends and coworkers pets since which includes cats, dogs and reptiles. As a military veteran, I am naturally disciplined with following your specific feeding, medication, and exercise instructions to the letter. I am currently completing the American Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid course to ensure I can handle any situation with confidence. My home is a secure, routine-driven space where your pet will enjoy a familiar flow—including morning dental treats, timely meals, and daily evening walks. I have a long-standing history of trust in my community, regularly boarding and walking younger, high-energy dogs for my neighbors.
