“We were away on a 2.5 week vacation overseas, the longest we’ve been away from our cats. They are pretty low maintenance and are good as long as they have food and water, but we were worried about our long absence since they’re pretty cuddly and clingy. I did some research on pet sitting and found Charity through Rover and was immediately impressed with her stellar reviews and repeat clients! I reached out and explained our situation and she was so kind and receptive. We booked our sitting appointment for the full 2.5 weeks, and booked a meet and greet about a month before to walk through the apartment, meet our cats, and chat. About: Your pup must be respectful of cats please. I completely understand curiosity, just not stalking or chasing. I took so much care of our lab when she was 15 and had Cushings. I definitely have a sweet spot for senior pets. She has since crossed the 🌈. Max is our 5 yr old Husky/Lab mix and he's our sweet big boy. We have love for big and small dogs! We have a huge grassy 6 and 4 ft fenced in yard (we connected to our neighbors 4 ft fence - see pictures) and Max would seriously love a friend to play with or just chill with. My husband and I work from home so one of us will be home all the time. We usually go on a mid morning walk and an evening walk, weather permitting. My kids are 11 and 16 and adore animals. We have a cat, Freddy, who loves Max. We will love your pet like they were our own ♥️ My husband and I work from home full-time. Our dog has separation anxiety so one of us will be home when your pet is here! We have a 6 and 4 ft privacy fence, large grassy backyard. Max gets on the leather couch but not our fabric couch or bed. He doesn't ever try. We wake up early to feed Max at 7 so early mornings is a non issue in our house! We typically go on 2 short walks a day (15-20 min). We're a chill household.

I’m patient, attentive, and dependable, and I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pet. I’m happy to follow your pets normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of attention. I’ll also keep you updated while you’re away so you know your pet is safe and cared for. My schedule is pretty open right now, so I’m available most days and can be pretty flexible with times. I’m down for walks, drop ins, feeding, playtime, or just keeping your pet company while you’re gone. I know everyone takes care of their pets a little differently, so I’m happy to follow whatever routine or instructions you leave for me. About: My mom started fostering dogs when I was 2 years old, so I've been taking care of dogs my whole life! I would love to help you take care of your dog(s)! I also have experience using various no-pull harnesses and gentle leader head collars for larger dogs. I have no qualms about taking care of "controversial" breeds such as Rottweilers, Dobermans, or Pit Bulls. I'm available for morning, evening, and weekend check-ins. I'm perfectly comfortable and experienced at administering oral medications and/or taking care of senior dogs and cats. I have a fenced-in yard for frequent potty breaks and play time. Adult pets must be spayed/neutered to stay at my home. I try to keep my Rover calendar up to date so you can see when I'm available! Please reach out for any specific dates needed! Boarding: I treat your dogs like my own! They get to play outside and sleep on the furniture with my dog! I'll feed them per your schedule! Sitting: I'll try to keep the routine as normal as possible for your pets! I'll send pictures throughout the service!
