She loves each of her boarders like they are her own 🩷 We love that she only takes small dogs as Mika is intimidated by big dogs. Stacy’s home is set up perfectly for dogs, with gates, furniture they can set on, and a separate area if a dog needs a little space to themselves. Mika is 13 so sometimes she needs a little time to herself. Stacy has the perfect backyard for the dogs, with a large covered deck and a few steps down to a large open area (fenced) to potty and explore. Mika is always excited to see Stacy and her husband Todd! They are the best!”

About: My wife and I both grew up with multiple dogs in our families. My wife grew up on a farm with mostly outside cattle dogs and I grew up in the city with mostly inside dogs. When we got married we got a dog of our own. She was our baby until we had kids of our own. She was then the best big sister to our daughters the rest of her life. We have owned 2 boxers in the time that we have been married and truly loved our time with them. We have realized as our 3 girls have gotten older and super involved in activities, we no longer have time for a dog of our own. That is what has brought us to Rover. We would love the opportunity to care for other people dogs in a way that works with our crazy schedule. My wife and I are both teachers and coaches. During the school year we are very busy teaching, coaching, and running our 3 daughters to activities. During the summer our schedule slows way down. We are usually home during the the week and at the lake on the weekend. All/most of my family would be available for pet care Monday-Friday during the summer. We would be available to have dogs in our home or to drive to your home. We would not be able to do any overnights in your home, but would welcome dogs to stay over night in our home. We live in a split level house, so there is no way to avoid stairs. We have a big fenced in backyard with a play set, trampoline, and above ground pool. We live in a quite neighborhood on a side street. We have lots of houses around us with dogs and lots of dogs in the neighborhood. If they are at my house, they are in a fenced backyard and monitored while my dogs play with your dog. I provide plenty of water to prevent dehydration and a nap break to make sure they rest. Be prepared! Your pup will be tired when they return home.

About: I have experience with many different breeds, including reactive dogs and aggressive breeds. I have patience and understanding for every dog and their unique routines and behaviors. I have been pet sitting for friends and family since I was able to drive and I will provide an informed and easy going experience for your dog sitting needs as well. I’m currently working full time Monday through Thursday and I am available to pet sit extended time periods as well as short. Aside from having my weekends free to care for your fur baby I am also available to provide morning, noon, and evening walks and playtime sessions. Rest assured that when you’re gone your fur baby is receiving my full attention. I live in an apartment that is close to a walking and bike bath. My personal preference is taking the 10 minute drive to Holmes Lake and going for walks around that area.

About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was around 10 years old. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their dogs and cats while they’re away. I’m comfortable with pets of different ages, sizes, and temperaments, and I always make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand how important routines, patience, and attention are for their well being. I am a part time student with a small part time job. I have a lot of free time on weekends and most week days. Having a dog of my own, I am used to balancing animal needs with my schedule. I have am willing to spend the night wile watching you animal. I can also find multiple times in the day to make sure the animal gets plenty of outdoor exercise and attention. I love being outside and taking long drives just like your animals!

“I hated to leave my elderly puppy with just anyone before a family vacation, especially after he had a minor decline in health. However, following the meet and greet we set up - it was very obvious that these folks know dogs and dog care. I dropped off an old, blind dog with instructions for a new medication regimen, and came back to a finely brushed, handsome fella with a pep in his step. He's still blind but maybe that requires multiple visits to clear up 😉. Very grateful for the specialized care he received and highly recommend!”

About: We have been owners of a golden retriever for 6 years and are experienced with the needs of dogs. I have also watched friends dogs many times while they were out of town. I'm a homeschooled mom who will have a lot of time during the day to give your dog love and attention. My own dog spends lots of time outside enjoying fresh air and squirrels.
