“Ashley and family were great! If I could give her 10 stars I would. We planned a weekend in Rocky Mount and booked boarding for our dog at a local boarding place. We dropped her off and before we left they let us know she was too anxious and would not be able to tolerate the whole weekend there. We tried one other boarding facility and they had a similar set up so I knew she wouldn't be able to stay there either. I found Ashley on rover and messaged her about booking for the weekend last minute. Our dog is very anxious around other dogs which becomes aggression because she gets so worked up. Ashley was able to keep her for the weekend and keep her separated from their other dogs in the home. I was very relieved to know she was safe and taken care and that the other dogs in the home were safe too. When we arrive Harley went right in with them and was happy when we picked her up! They were very understanding and accommodated us so we did not have to cancel our trip last minute. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I will definitely be booking with Ashley any time we are in the area.”

About: For as long as I could remember I’ve been my family’s go-to pet sitter. Anytime my Grandmother had a doctors appointment or my Aunt and Uncle left town, I would be their first choice. I love animals and caring for them, making them comfortable when their families are gone is not an easy task but easing their anxiety and keeping them comfortable is a very rewarding job. I’ve worked with rover in the past when I was in high school and it was a great experience. I am currently working part time but my schedule is relatively flexible. I have the ability to keep multiple pets. I have a large fenced in back yard at both locations. Both are single family homes with lots of space. Gates and seperate areas if pets need to be separated. We can also accommodate requests for no other animals be present, however I am great at acclimating animals with each other. Even ones that do not tend to play nice with others. Always up to you in the end. I have muzzels and a Kennel at both homes (if needed) , cat litter boxes at both locations as well. About: I love all animals. I have 2 dogs an American Terrior pit and a shihtzu. They are almost 3 years old and a senior. I have watched my friends animals while on vacation or emergencies. I do have references from them as well. I will care for your babies like I do mine. My dogs get along with other animals even cats. I have a large fenced in backyard that I play with my dogs in with there ball and other toys. I love to play with them and will have a small pool for them to play in while I’m outside never left by there self outside. I’m very protective over animals insuring to keep them safe. I have a set schedule in the morning from 5-6am letting dogs out to go potty and run in my fenced in backyard. Then feed them from 7-8am and feed again around 4-5pm. They do get snacks in between that time. I give my babies slamming skin treats and other treats for dogs only. I have a large fenced in yard and I’m always outside with my babies and anyone else babies to ensure safety. As well as playing with them outside.

About: I have had various experiences with dogs and cats. I grew up around animals. I have dog sit and cat sit for friends and families for multiple years now and am very reliable. I have let sit for large dogs that are in older age and needs special care. I have also pet sit for multiple pets at once. It was a small dog and 2 cats. We went in walks, had cuddles, and played games. We even got to play with some toys. I am currently on summer break from teaching and am completely free. As I am not teaching right now I am able to be flexible to your needs of your pets. Whether that is going for a walk or going outside to play. I have my own apartment and it is animal friendly. Due to this the environment is very safe and inviting. In my home it is very calm and clean. This is important just in case your pet has allergies. Since I don’t have any pets myself I am able to give lots of care and attention to your pets.
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was little! I've always loved animals and wanted to take on the responsibility of caring for them. Whether this was my next door neighbors or my own, I was always up for the job! I own a mini horse (my 1 year old saint bernard), 1 inside only cat, and 2 outside cats. As for work, I am a fourth grade teacher and have the patience and enthusiasm to be the pet sitter you need. I am currently out for summer break as an elementary teacher. My schedule is very open and flexible. I will be home full time until mid August. Once I go back to work, I will still be able to board animals at my house. However, it is important for them to be crate trained as I plan to have them crated during the day - at least in the beginning. This will more than likely change as I get to know the animal more and how they interact with my animals! It's essential for the animals to feel safe in a place they are unfamiliar with and around animals they do not know! Please know that when I arrive home, they will receive plenty of enrichment through attention, daily walks, and play time with me or other dogs. I have a fenced in backyard that connects to another fenced in yard belonging to my parents and their two dogs. These areas are closed off unless I want the dogs to have some play time. All 3 dogs, including my own, are very sweet and get along well! Dog can be easily crated if needed, I own a large crate with a lot of room. As for your home, I will treat it like it's my own and love your pets like they are my own. Animals provide a nice change from the chaos that goes on in the everyday life of a teacher. About: For as long as I could remember I’ve been my family’s go-to pet sitter. Anytime my Grandmother had a doctors appointment or my Aunt and Uncle left town, I would be their first choice. I love animals and caring for them, making them comfortable when their families are gone is not an easy task but easing their anxiety and keeping them comfortable is a very rewarding job. I’ve worked with rover in the past when I was in high school and it was a great experience. I am currently working part time but my schedule is relatively flexible. As far as boarding goes there is and will always be someone at the house caring for the dogs 24/7. I have a large plot of land adjacent to my house for the puppies to play in. About: I have been around dogs literally my whole life. I don't remember a time since I was born that I didn't have a dog. From sleeping on our pit bull as a toddler to rescuing a shelter baby to keep me company at college dogs have been an amazing part of my story. About: I've taken care of large and small animals all my life, I grew up taking care of my aunt's horses with her, and I've pet sat and house sat for the past couple of years and have been very successful. I am no longer a college student so my schedule is way more open! I love all animals small or large! “Ashley and family were great! If I could give her 10 stars I would. We planned a weekend in Rocky Mount and booked boarding for our dog at a local boarding place. We dropped her off and before we left they let us know she was too anxious and would not be able to tolerate the whole weekend there. We tried one other boarding facility and they had a similar set up so I knew she wouldn't be able to stay there either. I found Ashley on rover and messaged her about booking for the weekend last minute. Our dog is very anxious around other dogs which becomes aggression because she gets so worked up. Ashley was able to keep her for the weekend and keep her separated from their other dogs in the home. I was very relieved to know she was safe and taken care and that the other dogs in the home were safe too. When we arrive Harley went right in with them and was happy when we picked her up! About: I’ve always been a lover of animals. I have my own 2 cats and doggo and they’re my whole world. Before that I had family dogs and cats ever since I was young and they were my favorite thing to see when I came home after a long day. I love to workout with people themselves and animals! It benefits everyone to get up and move throughout the day. Plus dogs should get to experience the world around them too! I’m a stay at home mom, I am expecting our first baby in December. So once the baby is here, I may take a break for a little bit, but I’ll be back! I’m available to walk during typical business hours while my husband is working. I have a two story spacious home with a large fenced in backyard! Our bedroom is on the first floor so even if the dogs are older, they wouldn’t need to go up any stairs. I have a loving dog that will play and run around with them and 2 cats! One is super friendly and will play with them. The other is a little more timid and will most likely just hide.
