“Sharon is a loving and considerate companion that kept our elderly dog Kuma happy and healthy while we were away. Her wonderful attention to his daily needs was outstanding. Sharon would be an excellent pet sitter for your pets and we would highly recommend her services.”

“Ann is absolutely wonderful! Riggs was taken care of so well. I received pictures from Ann and texts to keep me updated throughout. From start to finish Ann was welcoming and it was quite obvious Riggs loves her and her family!”

“Erin took great care of our sweet dog, Lily. She was easy to communicate with, replied quickly, and sent pictures to let us know how much fun Lily was having playing in the river with Erin. I will be using her again, soon, and would highly recommend her to anyone!”
“I cannot recommend Caitlin W. highly enough! From the start, they treated my Stella like family and clearly cared about her safety, comfort, and happiness while I was away. Communication was outstanding—I received regular updates, photos, and messages that gave me complete peace of mind. Knowing my dog was well cared for let me truly relax. When I returned, she was content, well exercised, and clearly showered with attention and affection. It’s rare to find someone you can trust completely with a beloved pet, but I have. If you’re looking for someone reliable, compassionate, and attentive who truly loves animals, look no further. I will definitely book again and wholeheartedly recommend them for exceptional pet care!”

“Kaitlyn and her family were so wonderful to our dog, Cocoa! They treated her like their own and she was so spoiled staying with them! Kaitlyn sent several photo updates throughout each day! She took Cocoa on multiple daily walks, made sure she ate her food, gave her a new toy, and even sent her home with a new bandana! It was purr-fect!”

“Emily and her husband did a great job. We take our lab with us almost all the time so it wasn't easy to leave her somewhere for multiple days. Emily was great with accommodating a pre-stay meeting, always really good with communication and coordination, kept us regularly updated and assured that Parker was comfortable, happy, getting plenty of attention and activity, etc.. She was flexible with our pick up and always positive. We would definitely recommend and would definitely have Parker stay again.”

“Duke and I loved Leslie! She was super sweet and made me feel at ease since this was our first Rover experience. She was very professional and prepared. “Candace was amazing with our two cats!! She was very communicative, attentive and went out of her way so that both our cats and we felt good during the holidays. Would recommend and hire her to take care of our pets again 1000%. So so grateful!”

“I ended up needing a short-notice, “panic” cat check-in option from Rover before a 10-day trip. Lillie responded and communicated promptly. Her response saved my trip, She did a pre-trip visit to check out my 5 fuzzies, then dealt well with them for several food and water refill and social interaction visits. When I need cat sitting services again, I will be going back to Lillie.”

“Louise took great care of my kitties! She came each day, gave them outside time on the deck, and left my kitchen spotless. She rinsed the food tins out and put them in the recycling. She also found my broom and swept around the litter boxes. I didn't expect either of these, and I appreciated the extra effort. I had peace of mind as I traveled, knowing she was visiting them daily, giving them pets and love.”

About: As I partner with pet parents, I look forward to welcoming and honoring each pet's spirit and unique needs. Growing up with animals taught me how to truly listen to these sacred beings and notice the subtle ways they communicate. I can promise that I will show up for every animal trusted in my care the way I'd want someone to show up for mine: with patience, presence, and a whole lot of love. I am an artist with the ability to easily move my schedule around. I look forward to walking, boarding, and supporting pet parents with any care needs that arise. I have a fenced in yard and a clean, quiet home. When caring for dogs, I look for opportunities to engage in play as often as possible both to bond with your fur baby and to ensure they are having fun!

About: I’ve owned cats my whole life and have done everything from bottle feeding kittens, helping administer vaccines, as well as scooping litter every single day. For many years me and my family fostered cats through Purr Partners and we took care of kittens as well as many spicy kitties. Additionally, throughout highschool I volunteered at SafeHaven for cats and visited their facility every weekend to help clean up cages, scoop litter, as well as play with any cats that needed socializing. Currently we own 10, some of which we adopted while fostering and a few of which we rescued ourselves. Overall, my cats bring me joy and I’d love to take care of other cats as well!

About: I have two cats of my own that I love so so much. One is a scarf n barf kitty who has a special diet, then I have my dumpster kitty who eats everything. I've grown up helping pet sit for other people's cats and understand the importance of their need for love too no matter how independent.
“This was a rebook with Ashlee. We had a cold snap and outdoor kitties water iced over; thanks to Ashlee's care they had water! Heated water bowl ordered. Ashlee is reliable, so no worries about the kitties being uncared for.”

“It has been such a pleasure getting to know Brinkley and having her watch my pets. She's an awesome, positive, and very responsible caregiver and I highly recommend her! Thank you Brinkley for going above and beyond to care for my home and animals.”

“Karmyn accepted feedback when it was shared, and met our pets needs. She learns their habits and made sure to see them at least once during each visit (scaredy cats!) thank you !”

About: I have been around all types of animals and pets my whole life. I don't mind taking care of any type of pet you may have from babys to seniors, cats of all breeds and dogs of all breeds and sizes. I’m also good with taking care of other domestic pets, exotic pets and farm animals. I only work part time so I have a lot of extra time to care for animals and enjoy being outdoors walking, biking and hiking. I can also just enjoy sitting on the porch with a cat in my lap and a dog at my feet. I’m not doing in home or boarding at this time and may offer to stay at your house with your pet in the future

“Wow, Elizabeth has been Amazing! We have not had a better experience with sitters for Chip. Elizabeth and her family are so welcoming and accommodating of our schedule while in NC on vacation. If dogs could talk I’m sure Chip would share the same sentiments. It is always a great comfort to know your dog is well looked after when you are away from home and they can’t be with you.”

About: My name is Mac Graf and my husband and I live right outside Hendersonville, NC. I am a certified and licensed athletic trainer and am the Director of Sports Medicine as my full-time job. I work 90% of my job from home, and would love to help take the stress off your work day by allowing your fur family to hangout with me and my family for the day. I take my work seriously whether that be with my patients or with my fur friends. I fostered dogs throughout undergrad to give me more experience and make a change in an animal's life. I ended up adopting one of my foster dogs in 2020 and it was the best decision i've ever made! I rescued another dog in February of 2023, so I have lots of personal dog experience. I understand that having a dog is not just having a pet, but it is another family member. I treat them as such. With my experience as a foster, and being a pet owner myself - I know that I am responsible and loving towards all animals. I would love nothing more than to help take the stress off other dog owners, and help take care of them when needed. Since my job is 90% remote work, I have the flexibility to take my dogs on a walk or play outside in the fenced in area of our home multiple times a day. Throughout the work day they go outside multiple times - usually with a longer walk at the end of my work day. I ask the person I am dog sitting for what they want, and I always accommodate to whatever makes my client feel most comfortable with! We have two baby gates at home, so if we ever need to separate dogs in our home, we have the ability to do so. I always will be respectful of my clients and whatever their wishes are.
About: I love all animals and taking care of them is a dream job. I live in the Franklin NC area year around. I was raised with Boxers and have been a dog momma for 10 rescues. I have an open schedule however I have a wedding in June and a cruise in August. I am flexible and can be on call if necessary. My pets are inside animals. I have 8 acres with a fenced area and 2 friendly labs. I never allow my dogs off leash unless they are in the fenced area. My dogs are never left unattended outside the home. My cat is an indoor cat.
“Ann & Jaren took such great care of my Lottie girl when I was on vacation to NYC! They kept me up to date with lots of pictures; being that this was the first time we were apart for this long, I really appreciated the photos and care she received. She was in great hands and I 100% will be using them in the future! Thanks again 😊”

“Carrie and her two dogs were great with our dog Casper! Also this was the first time using Rover and Cassie helped us through the process. Very comforting knowing that we have someone we can trust while we have to take care of other things. We are already planning our next visits!”

About: Hello! I'm a passionate animal lover, and I'd be delighted to care for your beloved pets while you're away, whether it's for a weekend, a vacation, or regular visits throughout the year. I'm a kind, patient, and dependable person who understands how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own environment. I share my home with a cat and have experience caring for dogs including a Swiss Mountain Dog and a Belgian Malinois, as well as farm animals. In addition to feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship, I'm happy to keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away with complete peace of mind. If needed, I can also bring in your mail and water your plants during my visits. Before moving to the United States a little over a year ago, I earned a French certification in companion animal care (dogs and cats), which strengthened my knowledge of animal behavior and responsible care. Every pet has its own personality and routine, and I always take the time to adapt to their individual needs. My goal is to make your pet feel happy, relaxed, and loved while you're away. I'd love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family member! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or would like to discuss your pet's needs. Stephanie. I'm available most of the week, as well as on weekends and during school breaks, to take care of your pets. We can discuss our respective schedules in more detail. I can't currently keep a dog at home, but I can take care of your cat at my home :) I'd be happy to come by to visit your dogs and/or cats and take care of all their needs (food, fresh water, playtime, walks, cuddles, etc.).
“Meagan was great and our pups were well taken care of! She worked with us on flexible drop off and pick up times due to the event we were attending. We highly recommend Meagan for your pet needs. Thanks!!”

“Christie did a great job with my dogs Honey and Kip. She was punctual and had a good way with Honey who is skittish around strangers. I felt at ease with her care of my dogs and will definitely request her help again.”

I am a homeschool mom and have plenty of time to give your animals the love they need. I can do weekday walks and daily check ins. Over night stays are possible as well. “Louise is obviously a dog person. I appreciated having a meet and greet before hand. My pup felt immediately comfortable with her and so did I. Louise showed up when she said she would, took time for walks and play and my pup and home were in great shape when i got home. I will definitely use her again when in area.”

“I'm so happy to have met Alexis! She has been meshing so well with my dog in helping her practice calmness with new situations. I'm happy to see my pup making such good progress. It's just what she needed. Alexis has been wonderfully responsive to suggestions I've wanted to try and she has an innate understanding of animals, as well as a wonderful, calm energy.”

“Our dog took to Ashlee like she was family. She was always there when she planned to be and the communication was excellent. We are so grateful for her professional approach and hometown kindness. Well done!”

About: I’ve owned both cats and dogs my whole life, and more recently I’ve owned chickens as well. Starting with cats, I’ve fed and cleaned up after the ones we’ve owned, as well as taken care of the cats and kittens we fostered over the years. I’ve bottle fed them, helped give vaccines, and everything else in between when it comes to raising and taking care of them. I have also helped pet sit many of our neighbors as well as friends cats over the years. We have also owned several dogs, and I have tons of experience with walking and feeding them. We currently own 3; 2 small dogs and 1 big dog, so I have learned how to take care of many sizes of dog. Like with cats, I’ve also walked and fed my neighbors dogs many times when they’ve gone out of town. Lastly, we’ve raised more chickens than I can count in the past 7ish years, and I’ve taken care of chicks we got from breeders, as well as chicks born from our own hens and roosters. All of our chickens free range and are egg layers, so I treat them like any other pet and not like livestock. I have experience feeding them, fending off hawks and other predators, putting them to bed every night, as well as animal-proofing the coops themselves. For almost my whole life, I’ve helped feed our cats and scooped their litter just about every day. I also walk and feed each of our dogs throughout the day. Finally, I feed and put up our chickens many times throughout each week. I follow any instructions my clients may have and can cater to their pets needs. I love on and treat others pets the same way I would with my own, and have done so for neighbors, family, friends, as well as many others.
“Lillie has been great working with our new dog Archie. She is very patient and gives great updates, which is very helpful when trying to figure out what behaviors we need to work on with him.”

About: I am need of full time employment and have been pet sitting for friends and family for over ten years now. I absolutely love dogs and spending time with them because their love is unconditional. I grew up helping take care of my family's dog for about fourteen years and then helped raise a puppy who is turning ten in October. I enjoy being around dogs and playing with them so I feel like this is going to be the right gig for me. I am very positive and outgoing and love spending time outside. I'm currently unemployed and hoping to pick up as many gigs as I can to get a new routine started as I settled in a new location. I adjust based on the animal's needs. Some dogs I've watched have been incredibly more active and needing of attention than others, as well as cats. It's all about hearing what the owner needs for their pets while they're away to ease any anxiety they have of leaving them.
About: I love cats. Especially the type that wants to curl up next to me. Do to my boyfriend having an allergy to cats we currently don’t have any. But I don’t mind dropping in and taking care of the fur babies. I’m currently a 911 Dispatcher for Transylvania County. I work every other week there. (Week on; week off) I will post my monthly schedules that way you can know if I’m a best fit for you. I would prefer not to have other dogs at my home. Due to one of my dogs not being all that friendly. But do not mind going to other homes and taking care of dogs through out the week.
About: With years of hands-on experience, I provide reliable, loving care for your pets in the comfort of their own home or mine. Whether you’re away for a weekend getaway or a longer vacation, I will treat your furry children as if they were part of our own family. From following their routines and administering medication to offering plenty of playtime, companionship, and snuggles, I make sure your pets stay comfortable, happy, and stress-free while you’re gone. I know all to well the worry that can take place when you have to leave them home. I can offer you the peace needed that they will be the center of my attention. I am free to follow your routines and give you and your pets my undivided attention. I am a retired elderly care professional with time to share love. While taking care of your pets I pay attention to the details. From following your instructions and routine to being very careful with all aspects of their wellbeing.
About: I have been dog training for the past 5 years slowly growing my business. I love taking care of animals as it is my passion! Message me to learn more about me and my experience! My typical schedule is 8:30-4:30 with most of my availability in the mornings and evenings! This is the most accurate schedule for the 2026 year. I do not have a fenced in yard but I have a nice neighborhood where I can take your dog for plenty of walks and exercise.

About: Rescuing dogs — especially puppies — is the most rewarding feeling in life. The most important thing with our furry friends is consistency. If you're stricter with your dog, you need a sitter who'll uphold those rules, not let them slide. I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for years, and I've learned that it's not about what I want — it's about honoring what the owner has built with their pet. I work with the public in my day job, so patience is second nature to me. Pets are no different. They need someone who can read their energy, stay calm, and meet them where they're at. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. I match their pace, not mine. I don't know if anything really sets me apart from other sitters. I just genuinely want to be there for the furry family member. My availability in inconsistent due to Firefighting but I will always respond as soon as I'm able too. I understand due to my schedule I won't the best sitter for if you need someone daily, but if you need someone to drop-in, walk your dog, or just need a night out, feel free to leave a message. Currently working for a fire department, schedule can be inconsistent. Great for drop in play times and walks. Days off from fire department can be great for unexpected care. Currently unable to have pets in home due to renting rules. Will make sure to confirm and follow all rules with you before accepting the job.
About: I have owned dogs my entire life with many cats in between. I have had the pleasure of sitting dogs and cats all over the country, including house sits in California, Oregon, Washington, and now North Carolina. I have experience with young puppies, as well as elderly dogs with a plethora of health problems; I also have experience with big dogs like German shepherds, Australian shepherds, and Rottweilers, to teacup Pomeranians, spitz, and many more. I have been told I’m very high energy and fun, and the animals I have looked after always seem to pick up on that great energy and can’t wait to hang out. :) I sell vintage clothing, so being self employed allows me to better accommodate to all the needs of the animals. In our own home, our dog Endo is the King. He gets to enjoy long daily walks amidst the beauty of DuPont forest, swims in the lake behind our house, and nightly fresh cooked meals. My services on house sits include obviously feeding and general care of the animals, as well as promptly following specific dietary regimens and health requirements of every animal. I have cared for very old dogs that needed assistance in bowel movements as well as simple motivation for stubborn dogs that don’t like to walk. I have also looked after countless plants and hot tubs, ensuring proper watering and chlorination.

She was flexible with our pick up and always positive. We would definitely recommend and would definitely have Parker stay again.”

“Autumn has watched my boys even before she came to Rover and I still wouldn’t trust them with anyone. My boys love her and her kiddos. So I’m a repeat befor Rover and will be a lifer with Autumn💙💙”

“Carlina was amazing with our Sugar while we went on vacation. She provided lots of pictures and videos which was very heart warming and appreciated. Her communication is the best. Would recommend over and over again.”

“Michelle was amazing! She took great care of our Van. Sent us daily updates and photos and even made homemade treats. I would definitely recommend anyone to use her”
“Daisy did a 2-night meet and greet stay in preparation for a long stay with Diane this fall. Diane has a large, completely fenced yard which is great. She texted me pictures during Daisy’s stay, and she seemed very tuned in to Daisy’s particular needs and wants. I am glad to have a good sitter lined up now.”

“Duke and I loved Leslie! She was super sweet and made me feel at ease since this was our first Rover experience. She was very professional and prepared. The cute pics of my baby while I was away reinforced to me that Duke was in good hands! He was instantly comfortable with her and made himself right at home! I will definitely recommend Leslie and will use her services again! ”

“Jordan and her little 3-year-old daughter were super sweet!! They took great care of our little Shih Poo girl, not to mention she had just started her cycle. I was afraid that Jordan might cancel, but she didn't. My daughter and I brought her with her crate, diapers, food, and toys, and that was that. We were able to enjoy our travels to see family over the weekend without worry over our baby pooch. We're keeping Jordan's profile up top!”

“Laura is exactly who we have been looking for. She reassured us and asked if there was anything she could do to make us comfortable with leaving our puppy- what a relief after a having a bad experience with a different Rover Sitter. Ginny had so much fun with her dog Matilda, and came home tired. Laura was the one easy part of our bad day. We will be back!”
