About: I had multiple dogs all of my life and have taken care of horses and barn cats. Love all animals and want to make sure that they are doing amazing while you are away. I have pet sitted on and off over the years for friends and even flew to Las Vegas to petsit for an extended weekend. I’m currently working full time but can do late night drop ins, walks and am available any time on the weekends. Typically on the weekends I am free/flexible for any time, except the few times I’m out of town. Before letting pets out in fenced areas I double check gates are closed and latched before letting out. For any pets that are walked I ensure that they are leashed before heading out the door and do not take the leash off until inside with the door closed. I have an escape artist of myself at home so I know what to look for. I can easily place your pet in a crate before leaving if that is necessary.
About: I’ve owned cats my whole life and have done everything from bottle feeding kittens, helping administer vaccines, as well as scooping litter every single day. For many years me and my family fostered cats through Purr Partners and we took care of kittens as well as many spicy kitties. Additionally, throughout highschool I volunteered at SafeHaven for cats and visited their facility every weekend to help clean up cages, scoop litter, as well as play with any cats that needed socializing. We share our home with three wonderful dogs (a Pointer, a German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix, and an Australian Shepherd) all 7 years and older, plus our cat, Potato. About: I’ve owned both cats and dogs my whole life, and more recently I’ve owned chickens as well. Starting with cats, I’ve fed and cleaned up after the ones we’ve owned, as well as taken care of the cats and kittens we fostered over the years. I’ve bottle fed them, helped give vaccines, and everything else in between when it comes to raising and taking care of them. I have also helped pet sit many of our neighbors as well as friends cats over the years. We have also owned several dogs, and I have tons of experience with walking and feeding them. Like with cats, I’ve also walked and fed my neighbors dogs many times when they’ve gone out of town. Lastly, we’ve raised more chickens than I can count in the past 7ish years, and I’ve taken care of chicks we got from breeders, as well as chicks born from our own hens and roosters. All of our chickens free range and are egg layers, so I treat them like any other pet and not like livestock. I have experience feeding them, fending off hawks and other predators, putting them to bed every night, as well as animal-proofing the coops themselves. For almost my whole life, I’ve helped feed our cats and scooped their litter just about every day. I also walk and feed each of our dogs throughout the day. Finally, I feed and put up our chickens many times throughout each week. I follow any instructions my clients may have and can cater to their pets needs. About: Hello! I have been pet sitting professionally full-time for 6 years. I have fewer repeat customers shown on my Rover profile than some people here because clients usually choose to stop using Rover to save money and work independently with me. I work remotely and am pretty much always home; gardening and hanging with dogs ❤️. I have a half wrap porch with two steps to an enclosed grassy yard. I also go almost daily to the Women's Museum Park to walk my dog (and maybe yours too) where they have access to the river (if you approve, of course). Animals are family and will get copious amounts of doting attention. If they want to play with my dog, she is game! If they don't get along with other dogs there is plenty of separation options as well. I'm also perfectly content to come to you and sit your animals in their home environment. Through the years I've handled all sorts of "animal emergencies" with calm and collected care. I've loved a dog from her puppy days through her geriatric years with unending tenderness and welcome you to entrust your puppy-older dog to my care. Any special needs are no problem. I have administered injected medications. I have given pills successfully and regularly to a Houdini of a dog! If he/she needs it he/she will receive it. I am available evenings, weekends and holidays as well. I often take dogs from multiple households, but you can request no other dogs during your dog's stay. I have a grassy fenced side yard and a half wrap around sunning deck. I do not leave dogs unattended outside, but for the most part they can go in and out all day. I work from home. Occasionally I will need to be away for up to 5hrs at a time, but I will know my schedule when booking. I have a fenced in yard and a 40 lb female terrier mix. She has been dog sitting with me for 7 years now and is adaptable to other dogs' personalities. There is plenty of room for separation if needed as well.

About: Rescuing dogs — especially puppies — is the most rewarding feeling in life. The most important thing with our furry friends is consistency. If you're stricter with your dog, you need a sitter who'll uphold those rules, not let them slide. I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for years, and I've learned that it's not about what I want — it's about honoring what the owner has built with their pet. I work with the public in my day job, so patience is second nature to me. Pets are no different. They need someone who can read their energy, stay calm, and meet them where they're at. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. I match their pace, not mine. I don't know if anything really sets me apart from other sitters. I just genuinely want to be there for the furry family member. My availability in inconsistent due to Firefighting but I will always respond as soon as I'm able too. I understand due to my schedule I won't the best sitter for if you need someone daily, but if you need someone to drop-in, walk your dog, or just need a night out, feel free to leave a message. Currently working for a fire department, schedule can be inconsistent. Great for drop in play times and walks. Days off from fire department can be great for unexpected care. I strive myself to be able to give all of the animals I take care of mental and physical enrichment daily. I currently work part time so I have plenty of time outside of work to care for my own pets, as well as others pets to my best ability. My main priority for pet care is making sure the pet is safe, happy and healthy. I also want to make sure that pet parents are comfortable with the approaches I use and the incentives given to the animals. I want the pet care I provide to be a happy and mutually beneficial experience for both the animals and the parents.

About: I've been a dog lover and owner for more than 25 years and have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors. My first two dogs lived to be 16 years old, giving me firsthand experience with the patience, attention, and extra care senior dogs often need. About: I love all animals and taking care of them is a dream job. I live in the Franklin NC area year around. I was raised with Boxers and have been a dog momma for 10 rescues. I have an open schedule however I have a wedding in June and a cruise in August. I am flexible and can be on call if necessary. My pets are inside animals. I have 8 acres with a fenced area and 2 friendly labs. I never allow my dogs off leash unless they are in the fenced area. My dogs are never left unattended outside the home. My cat is an indoor cat.
