Currently I have Pippa, a 7-year-old Labrador who is allergic to chicken, so I make part of her food. About: I have been taking care of my family & friends pets check up on my neighbors pets when they go out of vacation. I love animals I believe you’re pet deserves the very best care! I am currently working a full-time job! However, due to the field of job I am in. I have lots of free time to check up on pets! About: I have watched a friend’s mature dog in her home while a family member was hospitalized. I have always had rescue animals in my home it is always been a priority for me to love animals and treat them with the respect that is so well-deserved. I have two rescue kitties that I care for every day. I am semi retired, spend special time with my fur babies and exercise every day. About: My mom got me my first dog when I was 10 years old, and it was from then on that I promised to take care of him the best way I knew how. I have experience administering medication (in pill form, liquid, and gel) to both dogs and cats, even when they don’t want to take it. I have also personally trained my dog to sit, lie down, high five, and on accident, I taught him to get up on his hind legs and beg with his front paws. If there is any special care that your animal needs, I would be more than happy to quickly and efficiently learn and adapt to care for your animal the way they deserve. I am currently job searching, so I will be free almost every weekday with exception for surprise obligations that my family often come to me with. I am not available on the weekends, including friday for various extraneous responsibilities. When I first meet an animal, I get down to their level and extend my hand just enough to offer it as an option for them to investigate, but not enough to shove it it their face. I wait until the dog or cat engages with me before I try to pet them on my own to ensure that they feel comfortable and safe. If your animal has separation anxiety, I would be more than happy to comfort them with calming words and gentle hands for pets and snuggles. I will only feed or give your animal a treat if I am told to do so or given the okay beforehand as I do not want to over feed them or give them a treat you have bought without consent.
About: I've had animals since I was a child and have taken care of them all of my adult life. I have personally fostered over 75 dogs through to their adoptions! I'm a trusted caregiver who can handle animals of all sizes, ages, abilities and temperaments! I love getting to know each animal's personality and how to best take care of them! With several dogs and a cat at home, I am always in pet care mode (and know how important it is to find a trusted sitter). Whether it is a drop-in or a boarding situation, I treat each pet like they are my own. (Also, our cat has his own "wing" of our home so he is not interacting with any visiting dogs.) We have two friendly, large dogs, Tennessee & Tucky who have been foster brothers to over 75 dogs of all sizes and ages. Having fostered so many dogs, I recognize that each animal is unique and I enjoy getting to know their individual personalities and how to best care for them. Whether the animals are in my house or their own, I will follow the owners' instructions and manage expectations so there are as few surprises as possible. I know how worrisome it can be to leave your pet(s) in the care of another, and I pride myself on making sure the animals are taken care of and enjoy themselves.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs (and have owned them) since the age of 10… I’ve helped many friends, family, neighbors and more with a variety of services. Anything from walking, feeding, sitter, boarding, etc. I can help with whatever you need! I’m a teacher and coach so I work from 7am-5pm, weekdays. I also work a part time job on the weekends here and there and can be available throughout the day/night. I’m pretty flexible and can make time whenever you and your pet need! I’ve owned Beagles, Chihuahuas, Shiz-Tzus, Jack Russel’s, as well as worked with German Sheppards, Labs, Doodles, Pitbulls, and many other dogs. About: I have always grown up with dogs and have loved having them in my life. I just moved to the area and adopted a dog myself. I’d love to love on your dogs and give them all the care they need and deserve! I work an 8-5 job Monday through Friday but am remote 2 days a week, off on the weekends, and am free after work. The weekends is when I am the most available, so if your pet needs some extra love I can be there longer on weekends! However, if you just need someone to walk your pup or do a quick check in, I can be there any day. Within your home, I can take care of your pup however you need! Provide me with your pups specific needs and personality and I can tailor my care to them. Perhaps they like more snuggles or more outside play time. We can work together to ensure your pup receives the best care possible. Within my house, I have lots of toys and puzzles which I like to use to make sure the dog is being active both physically and mentally. I love taking my dog on walks or to the dog park to get some social time.
“This is the first time I have used DogVacay. I've had my puppy, Zaire, for less then a week when I had to trust in Leslie to stop by and check on him. Leslie came through for my puppy and I in the final hour. I found her the day before I needed her help. We did not have the opportunity to meet in person but we spoke on the phone which helped a LOT. Upon her arrival to my place she made sure to let me know she was there, sent me a picture of Zaire, and even cracked a window for Zaire (at my request). I will definitely use her again. About: I have 2 dogs of my own currently one is 8 and one is 10. I currently work at a doggy daycare and boarding facility. i work 5 days a week less than 40 hours and i’m taking care of animals when im on and off the clock so it seems fitting to become a sitter and walker:) I live in a home with an unfenced 2 acre yard. we have a runner in case the dog isn’t leash or off leash trained.

About: I’ve always loved being around animals and making sure they get the best care. I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, and small pets. I’m comfortable with any animal! I’m currently a full time nanny but during the school year, I have some availability from about 9Am to 12PM Monday- Thursday. I’m also available after about 5:30 PM Monday- Friday.
