“We were so fortunate that Amanda was available last minute for us. We traveled from Virginia to NC to visit family with our Australian shepherd mix, Josie. We had intended to take Josie on all our outings with us. My biggest fear was a dog sitter would not recognize if my dog got sick while I was away. My vet does not believe in kennels and we have followed his advice. About: I have been a Yorkie, schnauzer or spaniel owner for years and just love the little furry family members. Currently Maggie May (my sweet rescue) and I love the opportunity to walk, keep and cuddle your "family member". I even make dog biscuits for the cutie pies if their owners give the okay. I had two middle aged small dogs. That were inside dogs and go outside when they please. We went on 3 walks a day and played with toys inside. My dogs have food in their bowls 24/7. I will follow any schedule or expectations given by the owner. My cats were cared for the same as my dogs.
About: I am a certified, licensed, and insured dog trainer and the owner of Chaos To Clarity K9. One thing that’s very important to me is paying attention to canine body language and stress signals. Dogs communicate constantly through subtle changes in posture, facial expression, and movement, and recognizing those signals early can prevent many behavior problems from escalating. During training, I help owners learn how to recognize what their dog is communicating so they can respond in a way that builds trust, confidence, and better behavior over time. Dog training is part of my regular weekly routine, and I intentionally keep my schedule structured so each client receives focused attention. Over the years I've owned a Golden Retriever and currently have a high-energy Border Collie, giving me plenty of experience with active dogs that need regular exercise, play, and attention. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 5, growing up my street had so many chihuahuas. I will take care of your pets like they’re my own. Right now I’m in college so I’m doing this for a little extra money and for something to do. I would love this extra time to care and love your pets as if they are my own plus it would give me something to do. (I promise I have so much free time on my hands this would really help lol) I would keep your dog inside. We would do activities such as walking your dog at a park or around my house. About: Growing up I lived on a livestock farm so my life for animals came natural and at a very early age. I previously worked as a Vet Tech and still currently volunteer for a local rescue, which is how I got 2 of my babies! I would love to keep your loved companions safe and comfortable while you relax on vacation or take care of business for work. I have a completely open schedule at the moment. I can do potty breaks /walks or over night stays for as long as is needed. I have a fenced in yard in a quite neighborhood. Plenty of toys and blankets for everyone and only the best quality dog food and treats. I also have two very friendly dogs of my own but could keep separate if you prefered. I have no limits for space in my house so furniture and such is fair game. I just want them to be comfortable and feel safe.
