About: Hello, I’m Jess! I grew up around animals from the time I could walk until now. I’ve had dogs, cats, turtles, hamsters, fish and a horse! I’ve always felt so comfortable and at ease around all kinds of animals and have always tried to help every animal I can (even if my parents didn’t appreciate it haha). I currently moved down to North Carolina with my cat and lived with 4 other cats, 4 dogs, and 6 birds before now. I also rescued a 9week old kitten from a dumpster a couple months ago! I’m really excited to have the chance to care for your fur babies while you’re unavailable! I can ensure they will stick to any schedule they may have, have any necessary medications on time, and are happy and safe before I let them have their “me” time! About: I grew up around horses, dogs, cats, and Guinea pigs. I love animals and getting an opportunity to spend time with them and take care of them. About: I will be spending time with them at the dog park at my neighborhood and they will be treated like my own dog. I will love them as if they were own. I can take them for a walk every 2 hours and if you have any changes feel free to call me. I am at home all day so they will be under my supervision 24/7. About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes including my own Great Dane who is 6 years old. We also had a pit mix who passed away last year unexpectedly. I trained both of my dogs myself and I am comfortable around any breed! I have experience giving daily medication as well as walking multiple dogs at a time! I currently work from home so I am home all day and mostly on weekends unless I run an errand or two. We love taking early morning and late evening walks to avoid this summer heat! About: I have worked in animal shelters. I have rescued stray and abused animals and helped located their owners and if I couldn't I kept them until they were ready to find a home. I am currently taking college courses to become an animal cop I want to continue to save the abused and neglected animals. I treat my pets like family. “Kelly was awesome! This was my first time boarding my dog Finn with her. We had just recently moved to the area but still needed to take care of a lot of things out of town. Kelly was able to do a meet and greet with us beforehand and it went great. She has a huge fenced in yard for all the dogs to roam around in and play, and Finn fit in well with her and her dogs. During Finn's actual stay, he got comfortable in her home and made new friends with both the resident and visiting dogs. Kelly made sure to send me pictures and videos throughout his stay too, which I very much appreciated. It was obvious to me that Finn was well taken care of and that Kelly genuinely loves all the dogs in her care. She was also very accommodating with the drop off and pick up times. I will definitely bring Finn back to stay with her the next time there is a need. Thanks again Kelly! Finn will miss you, Miska, Ruby, and all the other dogs who came to play! :)”
