We live in a fairly rural area, so Roxy does not get a lot of interaction with others, but we do know that she does not play well with other dogs, so it was great to hear Debra discuss what her plans were and that she had a nice fenced in back yard that Roxy could run around in without any chance encounters. In talking with her it was obvious that she has a lot of experience with dogs and we could tell from the daily updates and photos that Roxy was in the best of hands. This was by far the most comfortable we have felt with someone watching Roxy and could tell after picking her up she was well cared for. At kennels or other boarding places she always was a bit skiddish or even sick, but picking her up from Debra she was right back into her normal routine, was healthy, and didn't miss a beat. And each of my family members have had pets that I have been around as well. I also use to volunteer at a wildlife rehabilitation center, where I cared for injured animals. About: As children we always had kittens and cats around our house. We would help feed and water them. We loved rubbing them, hearing them purr, watching them chase each other, and sometimes run up a pine tree. Today our family has one indoor cat named Tango, two outdoor cats, and two outdoor dogs. I am willing to make multiple visits in a day. For House Drop-Ins: Similar to above, the evening times may vary. For House Sitting: I receive my schedule weekly, so I am available for overnight at least twice a week. However, if consecutive days are needed, I will be available for morning and afternoon care, but will have to leave for work and return afterward at night. Again, this time varies, so it will be either 3-8:30/9ish that I am gone, or 4-10/11ish. I can understand if this is an issue, but am willing to walk during the day, feed, and let out for a potty break as soon as I am able. I do not accept pets in my home because of the other animals already here, but as far as in yours, I am clean, courteous, quiet, respectful, and most importantly, there to keep your pet well-cared for, entertained, and at ease.

About: I treat my dogs like my children. My dogs are living with my ex husband and I want to share my love for dogs with yours. My biggest fear was a dog sitter would not recognize if my dog got sick while I was away. My vet does not believe in kennels and we have followed his advice. It makes me much happier knowing they are not in a concrete cage all day. I had been looking into opening a dog day care but this is more rewarding. I will treat your pet like my own. I am pretty much available 24/7 in my home. Your pet will have the run of my house. Your pet will be part of my one person family. It will be just me and your pet. No other dogs will be in the house. I would love this extra time to care and love your pets as if they are my own plus it would give me something to do. (I promise I have so much free time on my hands this would really help lol) I would keep your dog inside. We would do activities such as walking your dog at a park or around my house. You must bring your own dog/cat food.
About: I’ve taken care of every type of animal from cows, bunnies, and chickens to horses, dogs, and cats since I was born, very pet friendly. I’ve even had a chameleon and plenty fish. My schedule is very flexible, I can do pop ins, walks, and I can even take pets to a river to play and run around I will accommodate all dogs needs bathroom wise, food wise, and I will make sure the pet has lots of play time, pets will be well taken care of, happy, and all needs/wants will be met

“We were so fortunate that Amanda was available last minute for us. We traveled from Virginia to NC to visit family with our Australian shepherd mix, Josie. We had intended to take Josie on all our outings with us. It was just way too hot to keep her out all day, so we got on Rover (we have used it at home numerous times) and were lucky enough to find Amanda. We live in a fairly rural area, so Roxy does not get a lot of interaction with others, but we do know that she does not play well with other dogs, so it was great to hear Debra discuss what her plans were and that she had a nice fenced in back yard that Roxy could run around in without any chance encounters. In talking with her it was obvious that she has a lot of experience with dogs and we could tell from the daily updates and photos that Roxy was in the best of hands. This was by far the most comfortable we have felt with someone watching Roxy and could tell after picking her up she was well cared for. At kennels or other boarding places she always was a bit skiddish or even sick, but picking her up from Debra she was right back into her normal routine, was healthy, and didn't miss a beat. We are so greatful to Debra and will be using her again.”

About: I've taken care of pets for a large majority of my life. I have two fur babies that are loved and adored. I have space in my home and heart to care for more pets. Pet care rotates consistently in my daily routine. I have 2 fur babies that are loved and adored and plenty of room to care for more. Your pet will receive daily exercise and plenty of opportunity to play and have fun. The pets will be cared for inside my home, and will be taken outside every hour on the hour or every two hours if needed. I'm available typically on same day basis. I have a modest home with a outdoor kennel, and indoor crates for safe, clean boarding for animals large or small! About: I have been around pets my whole life! I have taken care of each and every pet I’ve had. I have always had either a dog or cat in my house. And each of my family members have had pets that I have been around as well. I also use to volunteer at a wildlife rehabilitation center, where I cared for injured animals. I have my own mini farm, where I have pigs, goats, chickens, ducks and turkeys! So if you need any of those types of animals cared for I can do that too! I have a very flexible schedule so I basically have the whole day to come take care of any pets! I have plenty of time to come and hang out with your furry family! I have four loving dogs that get outside all day long because I have so much time during the day and a very large fenced in backyard. We go on walks all the time! We can have a pet play date if your pet likes other dogs. If you need your pet needs to crated, I can do that. If they need soothing music put on, I can do that too!
