“Amanda and her family were incredible with my dog Jax! Amanda was pleasant and kind to work with. I was afraid he would be scared, staying with new folks, but he fit right in! They made him feel welcome, and made me feel comfortable about his first ever sleepover. She always kept in touch, made sure to send pictures, and let me know how things were going to ease my mind. If I had a question, she was ready to answer. I know with 100% certainty and he was loved, cared for, and adored. When I was picking him up, he hardly wanted to leave! I would absolutely put any one of my animals in the trust of Amanda any day of the week. Thanks again!”

“Cheryl was great with Buffy! Made her comfortable, made sure she introduced Buffy to her Dogs slowly so they would get along. She has plenty of space inside and outside for dogs to play. I was very pleased with the everyday updates and pictures. I will definitely use her again. She was very accommodating for me. Very nice lady.”

“If I had more than five stars I would gladly give Melissa more! This was our first time using Rover and our Lizzy’s first time overnight for a whole week with a stranger. Melissa was amazing from the start. Made sure Lizzy (and we) were comfortable there. She provided me with regular updates and pictures all week. She has a few sweet little dogs of her own and they became fast friends with Lizzy. She gave Lizzy free rein of her home, took her for walks and gave her lots and lots and lots of love!! I would hire Melissa again in a heartbeat!”

I work in a hospital three days a week. So I have four days completely free to take care of your pets. My bestfriend lives with me as well and is always around to help. There’s always someone home. I’ve served 5 years active duty navy and currently in the reserves so I do have common sense and can read and follow directions with precision. I have a car if needed for any reason and love being outdoors as much as possible so we can always go on nice long walks. I have a huge fenced in yard so we’ll spend plenty of time in the sun.

About: I’ve had Cats my whole life in all stages of life kitten-seniors. I’m ready to provide whatever care you need dropping in to feed and water them, keeping your litter box clean while you’re away, administering pills and topicals when needed, etc

About: As children we always had kittens and cats around our house. We would help feed and water them. We loved rubbing them, hearing them purr, watching them chase each other, and sometimes run up a pine tree. Today our family has one indoor cat named Tango, two outdoor cats, and two outdoor dogs. Tango is about 14 months old. He loves to eat. He loves to sleep, When awake, he loves to play with anything that will roll or make noises. He is so curious and wants to investigate all spaces. Tango loves to look outside and watch the birds. Our outdoor cats are feral. They eat and sleep either on the porch or by the shed. They are on time for breakfast and dinner daily.

About: I have had and taken care of cats my whole life. I have a cat of my own now and also live with others in the home. I have experience with bottle feeding kittens, general care of cats, and even special needs care when it comes to giving medication and managing a cat with walking disabilities due to spinal issues. I have cat sit for multiple people and am ready to take on more kitty clients.
About: Hi, all! Years of living with and caring for pets and working as a veterinary assistant has led me to be attentive, knowledgeable, and most importantly, so loving to any and all animals. I currently care for a pup, cat and ducks in my life. I intend to care for your pet as if it were my own! I am easy-going, flexible and willing to abide by any reasonable requests in care-taking. This won’t be considered “work” for me. It’s a bonus for the joy of spending time with and caring for animals and helping out pet parents as well :) I hope to meet you and your pet soon! Krista E. As far as my schedule, I am completely open during the daytime. I work evening shifts five days a week, but my schedule changes weekly. For walking: 1-2 walks a day from the hours of 8-3. I can also do night walks on days that I work, outside of the hours of 3-10ish, depending on the day. If I am off, I can walk at any time in the day or evening. I am willing to make multiple visits in a day. For House Drop-Ins: Similar to above, the evening times may vary. For House Sitting: I receive my schedule weekly, so I am available for overnight at least twice a week. However, if consecutive days are needed, I will be available for morning and afternoon care, but will have to leave for work and return afterward at night. Again, this time varies, so it will be either 3-8:30/9ish that I am gone, or 4-10/11ish. I can understand if this is an issue, but am willing to walk during the day, feed, and let out for a potty break as soon as I am able. I do not accept pets in my home because of the other animals already here, but as far as in yours, I am clean, courteous, quiet, respectful, and most importantly, there to keep your pet well-cared for, entertained, and at ease.

“Cheryl was a wonderful pet sitter, she took very good care of my dog that has separation anxiety. She only takes one dog at a time which I love, I know that my dog is going to get the attention that she needs. Sheryl is very thoughtful caring and made my dog feel very comfortable. She took her on long walks, and made her feel comfortable. I will definitely use her again whenever I am in town. She is the best dog sitter in this area.”
“Amanda was GREAT!!! First time doing doggy daycare and I was highly satisfied. As I pulled into the driveway both her and her daughter was outside waiting on Luna. Throughout the day she messaged me on how Luna was doing and also sent pictures. She enjoyed so much she slept from the time I picked her up til the next morning. Definitely booking on the regular.”

“Left our fur baby with Skyla while we were visiting from out of town. Skyla was great and loving! She made Luna feel comfortable and provided her with lots of activities and play time. She kept us informed throughout the day which made us feel at ease. So thankful we were able to count on her to watched Luna while we vacationed!”

“Joe and Celeste helped me out in a pinch. Needed a care giver for our little fur baby last minute and they without hesitation accepted our request. Our little guy was so tired when he got home he slept later than normal the next day. They are friendly and very professional in all aspects of the care they provide. They accepted our little guy and treated him like he was one of the family. Highly recommend Joe and Celeste to watch our fur baby in the future. Would also highly recommend them for doggie daycare to anyone looking for excellent care for their fur babies.”

About: I treat my dogs like my children. My dogs are living with my ex husband and I want to share my love for dogs with yours. My biggest fear was a dog sitter would not recognize if my dog got sick while I was away. My vet does not believe in kennels and we have followed his advice. It makes me much happier knowing they are not in a concrete cage all day. I had been looking into opening a dog day care but this is more rewarding. I will treat your pet like my own. I am pretty much available 24/7 in my home. Your pet will have the run of my house. Your pet will be part of my one person family. It will be just me and your pet. No other dogs will be in the house. I only take in one dog at a time and have great references. I do Rover at my home in New Hampshire over the winter and CT over the summer and you can see my great reviews. Your pet will have the run of my house, and will cuddle on the couch with me and/or sleep on my bed. I will walk your pet personally.

“Digo loves being at daycare! Janet keeps him active and assures that he is socializing with other dogs. She takes him outside often and keeps him inside when weather is not conducive. She introduced him to kiddie pool and she reinforces training including housebreaking and simple commands such as “sit”. Janet is also very flexible with schedule - I’m a nurse and my hours are very early and long! We are very fortunate to have found Janet!”

“Jennifer and Matthew are fine people!!! I think their hearts are the same shape as milk bones! Finny had an excellent time with them and came home happy and tired. He was even tired the next day too! Good people, I’d trust them with anything.”
“Leah was wonderful- accommodating us for a little last-minute time adjustment and was kind and easygoing. Our dog Pearl seemed to have a super fun time with her dogs, came home tired (in a good way) and happy. Would definitely use her again. Thank you Leah!”

“Kelly was wonderful! I made a last-minute daycare request just one day before drop-off, and she was incredibly flexible and accommodating. She was kind, communicative, and took great care of my pup throughout the day. I especially appreciated the updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. My dog came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I would absolutely book with Kelly again if I’m back in the Calabash area and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, responsive, and accommodating sitter.”

About: I’ve cared for and owned animals of all kinds. I have experienced in Dog, Cat, and some reptile care. I promise to provide a safe environment for your pets while keeping open communication and providing regular updates. I’m currently a college student who is working part time in Wilmington. Due to that my availability is limited to Friday-Sunday anytime rain or shine For all clients I will provide the same level of care that i do for my own pets constant play, supervision, and potty breaks. For daycare clients my pets will be out of the home. I also have access to 7 acres for your dogs to roam and play in (supervised and on leash) and an already pet proofed home.
About: I am a certified, licensed, and insured dog trainer and the owner of Chaos To Clarity K9. I work with dogs and their families on obedience, leash skills, everyday manners, and behavior challenges. Many of the dogs I help are everyday family dogs who need guidance with things like pulling on leash, barking, jumping, reactivity, or learning how to settle in the home. I also enjoy working with puppies and helping owners build strong foundations early through clear communication and consistency. I have a strong interest in behavior modification, especially helping dogs work through fear, stress, and reactivity at a pace that keeps them comfortable and learning. My husband is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and a combat veteran and former military police K9 handler who trained civilian police dogs. Because of his veterinary background, I’m also able to consult with him when behavior questions may have a possible medical component, which can sometimes play a role in behavior. I also understand that dogs live in real families with real challenges. I live with multiple sclerosis and am raising an autistic four-year-old, so I appreciate how important it is for training to be practical, realistic, and supportive of the household environment. My goal is always to help create calmer, safer, and more enjoyable relationships between dogs and the people who love them. One thing that’s very important to me is paying attention to canine body language and stress signals. Dogs communicate constantly through subtle changes in posture, facial expression, and movement, and recognizing those signals early can prevent many behavior problems from escalating. During training, I help owners learn how to recognize what their dog is communicating so they can respond in a way that builds trust, confidence, and better behavior over time. Dog training is part of my regular weekly routine, and I intentionally keep my schedule structured so each client receives focused attention. My current training availability is: • Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM • Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM • Thursday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM • Sunday: Afternoon appointments available by request Closed: Monday and Friday Because each dog and family has unique needs, I limit the number of training sessions I take each week so I can provide thoughtful, individualized guidance and follow-up support between sessions. Safety, trust, and clear communication are always my top priorities when working with dogs and their families. I pay close attention to canine body language and stress signals to make sure dogs remain comfortable and able to learn during training. Training sessions focus on creating a calm, structured environment where both the dog and owner can succeed. I work at the dog’s pace and help owners understand what their dog is communicating so they can respond clearly and confidently. My goal is to create training plans that are safe, practical, and sustainable for everyday life, helping dogs feel more secure while helping owners feel supported throughout the process.

About: I’ve cared for dogs with different needs and personalities, always providing patient, loving, and dependable care to ensure they feel safe, happy, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. I’m available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends, with a flexible schedule to meet your pet’s needs. I do work part-time, so I’m unavailable on Mondays, Wednesdays, and during the day on Fridays. That said, I’m committed to being reliable, communicative, and consistent during my available times. Pets in my home are treated like family and cared for in a safe, comfortable, and loving environment. I have a fenced-in backyard for secure outdoor time and plenty of space for play and exercise. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, and any special instructions. I also have crates available if needed for rest, training, or to match your pet’s normal routine.
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and I genuinely love caring for them. I grew up taking care of farm animals and mostly took care of chickens and stray cats in my area, so I’m very comfortable with different types of animals and personalities. I’ve also have pets of my own, including my cat Onion, who I’ve raised since birth, and a husky named Gunner that I adopted from a shelter. Over the years, I’ve helped friends, neighbors, and family with their pets, whether that’s walking, feeding, or just spending time with them so they feel comfortable and not alone. I’m very patient and attentive, and I naturally adjust to each pet’s energy! My goal is always to make sure your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away! I am currently a student, Army ROTC cadet, and athlete at North Carolina Central University. I am usually up really early in the morning for physical training at around 5-7am. I would love to start your animals day off with a morning walk or play session! I have a few classes M-TH and can be available depending on the time. However, I’m free all day on Fridays plus weekends. Keeping your pet safe and comfortable are my top priorities. I will not be caring for pets in my home because I am in a dorm for school, but in a clients home I always follow care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, routines, and any special needs. I make sure pets are supervised, secure, and in a clean environment at all times. I’m very observant to behavior and mood changes and will communicate regularly.
“Ashley did such an amazing job watching my two dogs! She was very communicative the entire time and sent me lots of pictures and updates, which made me feel so comfortable knowing my dogs were happy and being well taken care of. 🐾❤️ She also went above and beyond by helping me with a very last-minute need the following day, even though I hadn’t originally booked her for that day. She was so accommodating and helpful! My animals absolutely loved her and were very happy when I got home. I would definitely recommend Ashley to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy pet sitter. I will absolutely be booking with her again! 😊”

We previously worked at a dog shelter, where we provided attentive care and safe, enriching playtime for dogs with different personalities and needs. We care for every dog together, which is especially helpful for larger or stronger pups. We’re organized, dependable, and committed to following your care instructions closely. Rey is also bilingual in English and Spanish, so communication is always easy! We have two sweet dogs of our own and genuinely love making every pup feel safe, comfortable, and happy. Whether your dog enjoys playing outside, receiving lots of affection, or simply relaxing, we have the experience and patience to make them feel right at home. We can’t wait to meet you and your pup! 🐶💕 Rey works a part time as a paralegal. She spaces out hours for pet care so she can be able to give any potential furry friend the care that is needed! :) We live in a home with a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs have plenty of safe space to play, explore, and get exercise. We are in a quiet, pet-friendly neighborhood and make sure every dog in our care receives lots of love, attention, and supervision. We understand life can get busy or unexpected plans can come up, so we are happy to accommodate same-day bookings when available to help provide reliable care when you need it most. Whether your pet enjoys relaxing, playing outside, or staying active, we strive to make them feel comfortable, safe, and right at home. We treat every pet like family and always prioritize their safety, happiness, and routine.

“She was so awesome! My dog ended up having to stay longer because the hotel that we stayed at wouldn't take dogs. Skyla was very accommodating. 5 star ask day highly recommend she text me every day with updates abs pictures of my dog.”
“Highly recommend Kyle, he was very communicative and took very good care of our dogs. Our dogs were happy and tired out by pick up time, we will definitely be booking again in the future!”

“Jennifer and Matthew kept our Lab and Golden doodle for 3 nights and I'll have to say I could not have been happier with their stay. Jennifer was great about answering any questions or texts right away and sent a picture of how they were doing. I will definitely be booking with them again!”

“Janet was absolutely wonderful to my elder Chihuahua Pork Chop and my new addition to the family Nacho. She took Wonderful care of them and kept me updated with photos. She has been my pet sitter since 2018.”

“Debra was fantastic! She took such great care of our dog when we went on vacation for the week. She sent us pictures to keep us updated. She has a fenced in, private backyard which was perfect for our dog. We would definitely use her again in the future.”

About: I have been around pets my whole life! I have taken care of each and every pet I’ve had. I have always had either a dog or cat in my house. And each of my family members have had pets that I have been around as well. I also use to volunteer at a wildlife rehabilitation center, where I cared for injured animals. I have my own mini farm, where I have pigs, goats, chickens, ducks and turkeys! So if you need any of those types of animals cared for I can do that too! I have a very flexible schedule so I basically have the whole day to come take care of any pets! I have plenty of time to come and hang out with your furry family! I have four loving dogs that get outside all day long because I have so much time during the day and a very large fenced in backyard. We go on walks all the time! We can have a pet play date if your pet likes other dogs. If you need your pet needs to crated, I can do that. If they need soothing music put on, I can do that too!
“My cat had a wonderful time, there for over a week due to a funeral out of state. Lovely place to stay, lots to look at from the back screened porch, any cat would have lots to do. Grateful she could take her for a longer trip, not many places will take cats. Brought all of her many things like scratch box so she could get her energy out on that rather than inappropriate areas. Would book again in a heartbeat.”
