“I can't say enough about Lacie!!! She is absolutely excellent. We use her whenever we go out of town and never worry about our Emma. We know she is treated as well or even better than at home. Lacie is amazing.”

“Sharon is the kindest and most attentive sitter we could ask for! Our pup clearly loved being there and it really helped us relax on vacation knowing our sweet girl was in good hands.”

“Erin took great care of our sweet dog, Lily. She was easy to communicate with, replied quickly, and sent pictures to let us know how much fun Lily was having playing in the river with Erin. I will be using her again, soon, and would highly recommend her to anyone!”
“Connie P. and her husband Ron is the best you can find for your baby doggie staycation. Our furry baby didn’t only make some furry friends, but also enjoyed his stay at Connie’s Pups Haven. They are wonderful couple. They went above and beyond in providing Rocky the love, care and attention he needs. I highly recommend Connie and we will definitely use her again.”

“Debbie was marvelous! We were a little nervous as our Abbey is a 13 year-old 3-pound chihuahua who is almost blind and Ghirardelli is a 6-pound bouncy poodle. Debbie has four dogs of her own. Two are huge boyzois! No worries-all four of her fur babies were very, very sweet! Debbie cuddled Abbey and our babies slept with her grandson which they absolutely loved!!! We got pics and updates every day. Debbie even waited up for our late flight so that we could get our babies as soon as we got back home. Best puppy B&B ever!!! We will be back, Debbie.”

“We went on a short family trip to Georgia and our little pup Cosmo spent quality time in good hands at James home for a few days. He enjoyed his time spent outside in the yard and hanging with James’ family.”

“Diane took care of our Seamus while on vacation for a week and she did an amazing job! She sent several photos of him throughout the week which was nice to see him happy. He looked healthier when we picked him up then when we left which was probably due to the many walks they went on. We will definitely be booking her again the next time we need our fur baby watched!”

“Our dog loved his stay with Michelle and her family. She gave updates with photos and videos during our trip and made sure we were in the loop with how he was doing. He had lots of playtime and outdoor time, got along great with her dogs, and was comfy and cared for :)”
“Fantastic service. Beautiful country home with huge yard. Sent us photo updates 4 different times. Will use again any chance we get. Thanks again. Danny was so comfortable and super happy.”

“Alexis was a great host and Max came back happy and relaxed! She sent reliable communication and was super easy to coordinate schedules with. Will recommend and will book again!”

“Kali was so wonderful. My mollie enjoyed her time with her and her pups! She kept me posted on mollies needs and I am grateful she worked with me on my hectic schedule.”

“Kristin was a lifesaver. I had booked weeks in advance with another rover sitter that went unresponsive and booked with Kristin in a panic same day. She sent daily updates and was extremely communicative and professional. I could tell Ruby had a great time when I picked her up.”

“Kaitlyn and her family were so wonderful to our dog, Cocoa! They treated her like their own and she was so spoiled staying with them! Kaitlyn sent several photo updates throughout each day! She took Cocoa on multiple daily walks, made sure she ate her food, gave her a new toy, and even sent her home with a new bandana! It was purr-fect!”

“Carlina did a great job with our dog, Maddy. She checked in and sent pics. I really appreciated that it was just our dog and Carolina’s dog there - I think too many make it a stressful stay. Maddy said she was a 10/10, bed and treats were great.”

“I would give 10 stars if that was possible! Bear was in heaven with Caitlin and her family. He went on long walks every morning, went to the river, road in the car and chased chickens! I was actually concerned that he would not want to come home to us :) I cannot recommend her enough- especially if you have a golden! We will be using her again.”

“KaLynn was exceptional! She was amazing with communication sending multiple sweet pictures daily, texting to communicate whenever necessary, and always accommodating to my needs about the dogs to make me feel confident my girls were being well taken care of. I was genuinely nervous about leaving them for an entire week with someone we had never met, but I instantly felt they were safe and being loved on the moment we dropped off through pick up. My girls lived their best life in KaLynn’s care and we will always book our trips with her in the future!”

“We loved Laura and her place with the beautiful big fenced in yard. We also loved the pictures she would send us while we were gone. We missed Tucker our dog so much and the pictures helped us know he was being taken well care of. We will use again.”

“Sarah watched our dog for two nights while we stayed at the Grove Park Inn. This was a great option since the hotel pet fee was $350! Thank you, Sarah, for caring for our pup!”

“Jordan and her little 3-year-old daughter were super sweet!! They took great care of our little Shih Poo girl, not to mention she had just started her cycle. I was afraid that Jordan might cancel, but she didn't. My daughter and I brought her with her crate, diapers, food, and toys, and that was that. We were able to enjoy our travels to see family over the weekend without worry over our baby pooch. We're keeping Jordan's profile up top!”

“Louise took great care of my kitties! She came each day, gave them outside time on the deck, and left my kitchen spotless. She rinsed the food tins out and put them in the recycling. She also found my broom and swept around the litter boxes. I didn't expect either of these, and I appreciated the extra effort. I had peace of mind as I traveled, knowing she was visiting them daily, giving them pets and love.”

“Maria was so sweet to my fur babies! Hellboy is aptly names and even he warmed up to her! She was thoughtful and a great communicator. My place was a wreck due to moving out of state in a few days from the trip, packing boxes, and broken oven from the night before - she sailed through it without a pause. Total trooper! I recommend her without hesitation!”

“Bailey was very personable and also great with my detailed instructions about how to care for my cat and kitten! She sent me picks and reassurances, and I trust that my animals felt well cared for. I highly recommend her!”

“Jennie was amazing! We were in town to camp and mountain bike and had to make some last minute adjustments due to weather. She was so flexible and accommodating we almost couldn't believe it! We hope to be back and would definitely use Jennie again.”

“Lacie was absolutely wonderful to our Cockapoo, Biscuit. We did day care in her home and she has a house perfectly suited to having animals and a huge fenced yard. She clearly loves animals and I’m so glad I found her. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Wow, Elizabeth has been Amazing! We have not had a better experience with sitters for Chip. Elizabeth and her family are so welcoming and accommodating of our schedule while in NC on vacation. If dogs could talk I’m sure Chip would share the same sentiments. It is always a great comfort to know your dog is well looked after when you are away from home and they can’t be with you.”

Prefer not to have dogs larger than 60 pounds in my home overnight and no aggressive breeds . These factors will be considered on a case by case basis . I work from home with a flexible schedule and can meet your animals needs virtually anytime ! I have room to play and would love to care for your animal . I have experience caring for animals of all kinds in my home and will listen to any care instructions . I am home most of the day to care for the animal .
About: My name is Mac Graf and my husband and I live right outside Hendersonville, NC. I am a certified and licensed athletic trainer and am the Director of Sports Medicine as my full-time job. I work 90% of my job from home, and would love to help take the stress off your work day by allowing your fur family to hangout with me and my family for the day. I take my work seriously whether that be with my patients or with my fur friends. I fostered dogs throughout undergrad to give me more experience and make a change in an animal's life. I ended up adopting one of my foster dogs in 2020 and it was the best decision i've ever made! I rescued another dog in February of 2023, so I have lots of personal dog experience. I understand that having a dog is not just having a pet, but it is another family member. I treat them as such. With my experience as a foster, and being a pet owner myself - I know that I am responsible and loving towards all animals. I would love nothing more than to help take the stress off other dog owners, and help take care of them when needed. Since my job is 90% remote work, I have the flexibility to take my dogs on a walk or play outside in the fenced in area of our home multiple times a day. Throughout the work day they go outside multiple times - usually with a longer walk at the end of my work day. I ask the person I am dog sitting for what they want, and I always accommodate to whatever makes my client feel most comfortable with! We have two baby gates at home, so if we ever need to separate dogs in our home, we have the ability to do so. I always will be respectful of my clients and whatever their wishes are.
“KaLynn was fabulous. If you are visiting Biltmore and need a place for your pooch during your visit, we highly recommend her. She was great at accommodating our senior dog for the day and was very communicative both before and during the day, plus she sent fun photos that were in an amazing quality.”

“Kharen was a great dog-sitter for our pup and provided pics throughout the day. Zilly came home happy and exhausted from playing all day. Kharen was also super flexible with us when we had some unexpected traffic that required extending pick up time. We really appreciated her and Zilly loved her! Thanks Kharen 😊”

“I needed a sitter last minute, and Julie accepted our sweet Luna with open arms. Excellent communication, I immediately felt confident Luna would be in caring and safe care, and Julie was super flexible. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Alexis is great- welcoming, and friendly. Upon meeting her you can immediately tell she enjoys living on her small farm and taking care of animals. We felt very comfortable with our dog hanging out with her. Good communicator. Highly recommend.”

About: Hi! I might be new to Rover but not pet sitting! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently own two pugs and a soon to be therapy dog named Zoey. I also live with my husband Mike! He is an engineer at Duke Energy & isn’t always home. But I work from home so cuddles are always available for your pup! Beyond caring for my own pets, I’ve volunteered with the Blue Ridge Humane Society and spent several years fostering animals in need, helping them transition into loving forever homes. Through fostering, I’ve gained experience working with shy, energetic, anxious, and special needs pets, always focusing on patience, safety, and positive reinforcement. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else requires trust, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm and caring companion while you’re away, my goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Please reach out for special requests. I can try to accommodate such as picking up your pet or dropping you off at the airport. I live 6 minutes away from AVL. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members🐾 I currently work from home so if you have an anxious, high energy, sleepy, and separation anxiety I’m your girl! I am a Rover customer as well so I will your dogs just like I would want another Rover sitter to! All dogs are allowed on the couch & bed! I sleep with my 3 crazy sweet dogs. I do have a fenced yard. We also have a dog park in our community! I take my dogs there every day after work.
“Ryan was very flexible and conscientious when Oliver stayed with her for the day. She sent pictures and let me know how he was doing. She has a menagerie of animals, including several cats, rabbits, a dog and a bird, so he got a lot of up close socializing experience, which is good for him because we like to take him out and about where there could be other animals.”

“James did a great job with our dog. It was last minute, and he was able to accommodate. When we dropped her off, she just walked into the place like she owned it. I figure if my dog is comfortable doing that, then I should be comfortable leaving her there. Will definitely reach out to James again next time we're in the area.”

“We were in the area for sightseeing. Kristin was welcoming and seemed to be aware of how to treat the different sizes of dog that she was watching. I can not speak on Stellas behalf, except I Heard no complaining. Thanks for watching Stella for us so that we can enjoy our sightseeing.”

About: Hi! I've been taking care of dogs for my friends and family. In 2019, I adopted my rescued fur baby Bobby, and in 2020, I adopted my beautiful girl Bella. They have been the great addition to our family. I'm very reliable, responsible, loving and caring for your pet and love to give cuddles and kisses to your fur baby. I currently work from home different days where I can give care to your loved one and enjoy time together. I can have my little one play together with yours. Whatever makes you more comfortable, I respect that, and will always give my best care and love to your loved one. I have a small patio where your dog can take some sun and air, play with my Bobby and enjoy the beautiful view. I also have a doggy park nearby where we can go and play.
“Nate is super friendly and reassured me Tama would have a good time with the other dogs in the home. He played so hard he was fighting sleep on the drive home. Thanks for taking care of him today!”

About: I've cared for animals my entire life, including dogs, cats, rabbits, ducks, and farm animals, and have lived on homesteads where animal care was part of daily life. Before settling in beautiful Brevard, I spent 1.5 years full-time house and pet sitting while traveling. During that time, I completed over 30 assignments with consistently 5-star reviews. That experience instilled the importance of leading with a genuine heart, trustworthiness, good communication, and consistency when caring for someone’s home and beloved pets. I especially enjoy dog walking and in-home pet care. Daily walks are one of my favorite parts of this work - whether in local parks, on trails, or simply around the neighborhood. I also provide attentive drop-in care that helps pets stay comfortable and on routine in their own home, while their owners are away. I appreciate taking the time to understand each pet’s personality, needs, and routines so they feel safe, understood, and well cared for. Whether it’s exercise, companionship, feeding, or simply keeping their day consistent, I aim to provide genuine, attentive care that gives both pets and owners peace of mind. I also have experience caring for senior pets and those who need a gentler pace. For cats, I provide calm, attentive in-home visits that respect each cat’s personality and need for space. I follow their lead and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Please note that my 6-year old does accompany me on dog walks, drop-in visits, and overnights. They are very comfortable with animals and always under my supervision, but please ensure your pets are comfortable with children prior to booking. Thank you for considering me - I look forward to caring for your pets as if they were my own. I’m a homeschooling mother, which gives me a flexible daily rhythm that allows for regular walks and outdoor time. I genuinely enjoy being outside with dogs for walks and/or playtime, and ensuring each pet receives calm, attentive, and loving care. My 6-year-old does accompany me on visits and is always closely supervised and wonderful with animals. Please ensure your pets are comfortable with children prior to booking. I view pet and house sitting as a responsibility and privilege. I understand I am caring for what people value and cherish most, and I take that trust seriously. I provide attentive, reliable care and aim to ensure pets are safe, comfortable, and well looked after in a calm and enriching environment. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and care instructions so their day-to-day life remains consistent and familiar while in my care.

About: I’ve had pets ever since I was really young and always wanted to get into the field of working with animals. I’ve taken care of a variety of animals from dogs to bunnies to guinea pigs and almost all of them have lived a very long life. I’m always excited to see any animal and work with them no matter what kind they are. I look forward to seeing every animal that comes my way and taking care of them as if they wear my own. I am currently working a part-time job, but I hope to transition to make this my part-time job. I am available and home every day of the week except Sunday (when I make this job my only job) and I’m home almost every hour and I will always make time for your pet. Well, the yard is on a hill and not fenced. I do have one dog three years old very friendly to keep any animal company. And if your dog needs to be in a crate. I can very much do that.
“Our dog took to Ashlee like she was family. She was always there when she planned to be and the communication was excellent. We are so grateful for her professional approach and hometown kindness. Well done!”

About: I have owned dogs my entire life with many cats in between. I have had the pleasure of sitting dogs and cats all over the country, including house sits in California, Oregon, Washington, and now North Carolina. I have experience with young puppies, as well as elderly dogs with a plethora of health problems; I also have experience with big dogs like German shepherds, Australian shepherds, and Rottweilers, to teacup Pomeranians, spitz, and many more. I have been told I’m very high energy and fun, and the animals I have looked after always seem to pick up on that great energy and can’t wait to hang out. :) I sell vintage clothing, so being self employed allows me to better accommodate to all the needs of the animals. In our own home, our dog Endo is the King. He gets to enjoy long daily walks amidst the beauty of DuPont forest, swims in the lake behind our house, and nightly fresh cooked meals. My services on house sits include obviously feeding and general care of the animals, as well as promptly following specific dietary regimens and health requirements of every animal. I have cared for very old dogs that needed assistance in bowel movements as well as simple motivation for stubborn dogs that don’t like to walk. “Sharon is the kindest and most attentive sitter we could ask for! Our pup clearly loved being there and it really helped us relax on vacation knowing our sweet girl was in good hands.”

“Toby had a great weekend with Ali and Penny. Ali took great care of him, gave frequent updates, and went above and beyond in her flexibility and taking care of our boy. Will definitely be asking her to watch Toby again next time I need a sitter.”

“Jamie and Nathan were great to work with. They were super responsive and very accommodating. Our dog Riggins loved staying with them. We would not hesitate to book with them again!”

“Michaela is wonderful!! She sent photos and updates throughout the day and made sure my dog was always comfortable and safe. She’s one of the best sitters I’ve used on Rover.”

“Lauren is a treasure! Always takes great care of my pups, and treats them as her own. Her home is also a true adventure for boarding, plenty of socialization and cuddles. Cannot recommend her enough.”

“This is the second time Lilly has stayed with Caroline. She did a great job with communicating & sending pictures so we knew Lilly was comfortable & doing well. Would definitely have her sit Lilly again!”

“Ryan did a wonderful job with our dog. This was his first experience staying with a sitter he didn’t know and outside of our home. She sent pictures of him throughout his stay. I would 100% let Ryan sit for our dog again! Tip top!”
