I've had dogs my whole life, including two yellow labs who lived long, happy lives (15 and 12 years old.) I currently have a friendly 1-year old yellow lab who love's new friends to play with! I have another red fox lab coming soon- June 2026! Because I'm home full-time, your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day- no long periods alone. We have a large, fully fenced backyard where the dogs can run and play safely. Our days are filled with fun activities like pool time, agility play, fetch, and lots of love and interaction. Your pup will be treated like family in our clean, non-smoking home, with plenty of space to relax and feel comfortable. I have had fur babies in the past that require special attention. I work a full time job out of my home so taking in dogs during the week is super easy as I’m home all day everyday. We have underground fencing otherwise your dog will go on a tie out. We have 2 entrances that can accommodate. I can also take crate trained dogs. About: I grew up with multiple cats and dogs so I’ve been around them my whole life. I currently own 2 cats of my own so I know what it’s like when trusting someone else with your fur babies. With the proper instructions I can deliver meds or even take a mountain of photos for updates with the fur kiddos, just lmk. I work in the evenings during the week so I’m free most weekends. During the week I can do anytime in the morning to middle afternoon. I have 2 cats that I love with my whole heart and have certain instructions for so I get it when other people have preferences of their own. About: I have had dogs of my own over the past 10 years, and have looked after several family and friend's dogs and cats many times. They have relied on me to walk, feed and house sit for their fur babies. I'm reliable and trustworthy. I have a very flexible schedule and can pop in for a quick visit or walk, or I can stay in your home for a longer term. Pets generally need a good amount of attention. I can bring calm comfort to an anxious or tired pet or go on a rigorous walk with a more rambunctious pet.
About: I have had both cats and dogs almost my entire life and have worked as a Veterinarian Technician in an animal shelter and for a small family owned Vet. I strive to bring my knowledge and love for animals to my community so that pet care can be more affordable for regular people (such as myself). With the knowledge I have gathered from both working in office, having pets, sitting family pets, and my many years of pet grooming I hope to make my home a safe haven for your pet. We can also discuss natural treatments for pets which I've studied for a while now when it comes to specific breeds, mixed breeds, and their genetic ailments. I will soon be making all natural dog & cat treats for pets. I can also train pets through the treat/clicker system which has worked well for all of my pets and a plenty of others. More than likely your pet will stay in the room with me (if they choose as i love cuddles as much as they might). Your pet can also hang out in the living room if they choose. They will go outside as many times as needed through the day until I get off at 5:30pm which then we will go for a walk. I also have a back yard. In which I will allow them to exert any additional energy throughout the day. I care for pets by paying attention to them and understanding the small hints they give indicating what they need at that time. I also create a potty schedule based on the dogs water/food intake to avoid accidents. I have no pets at the time so your pet will have my full attention. If permitted by the owner, I will groom, bathe, and train their pets.
About: I am very energetic! I love to play outside with dogs. I love to play fetch and ball. I love to play in the sprinkler with dogs. I love to go on runs with dogs and make sure they are having the best time! I am always excited to play with dogs! I always make sure that they have the option to use the bathroom and always have access to water so they never get dehydrated. If they take any medicine, I make sure I have an alarm that lets me know it's time for them to take it! I always make sure that the dog feels comfortable at all times, and I always keep the owner updated to keep them comfortable and relaxed. I know your dog is your best friend, but when you can't be there with them, let me take care of them until you can! I do have base access! I have a very open schedule throughout the week and would love to play with your fur baby while you are away! So don't you worry, they will definitely get loved on until you get back! One way I ensure your baby is safe is by always going outside with them even when it's bad weather! I try to always make sure that your fur baby feels calm and safe no matter the situation. Another way I make sure they are safe is ensuring they are not in an area they are not normally allowed in alone. If we were to go on a walk or an adventure, I'd make sure they have on their collar and leash and of course send you lots of pictures while we're out!
About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals. In my house we had two dogs, a cat, a fish, two birds, and a lizard all at once. i took care of all of them and loved it :) I’m new to the area and have a part time job. i had to leave my dog with my family back home and am really missing that bond, I am very available to pet sit or even just take them on walks. My dog always slept in her crate because it was her safe space. I love to take dogs outside and let them run around and be happy, but i am also comfortable with having them inside and following any rules you may have.
About: I will love your dog as if it were my own. I have 2 springer spaniels that love to play. I can give special care for a dog that needs meds or has a special diet. I have had fur babies in the past that require special attention. I work a full time job out of my home so taking in dogs during the week is super easy as I’m home all day everyday. We have underground fencing otherwise your dog will go on a tie out. We have 2 entrances that can accommodate. I can also take crate trained dogs. About: Hi!! I am a rising sophomore at ECU and my family and I just moved to Garner from New York. I am looking for dog care jobs over my summer break so I am available all day every day until I go back to school. I am a morning person and like starting my days quite early so any of you need anything in the morning, I would love to help! I absolutely adore dogs and everything about them! Any time there is one in the room I am drawn to it and it gets my undivided love and attention. Most of my family and friends call me the dog whisperer because all dogs love me too! I have been sitting for a little over two years and have experience with all ages, sizes and breeds. I love being outside and active, and going on walks is one of my favorite things to do. I also don’t mind picking up after the dogs. (Someones gotta do it lol). My family has had 2 dogs of our own but both are no longer with us anymore. They were my built in best friends and most of the time I enjoyed their company over my family’s. I have so much free time on my hands that I can work with as many that I possibly can! I like being up early and don’t mind being out all day. I can keep your gates and doors locked while we are inside. Make sure the dog is always on a leash before opening a door for a walk.

About: My late dog Casey (d. May 2026) was dog-reactive, and I found out firsthand how hard it is to find a dogsitter without any personal pets or other clients in the home for dogs like her when I travel. I always had at least one dog and cat in the home growing up, but Casey taught me how to set animals up for success by accepting them as they are and adjusting to their needs-- medical, emotional, and physical. For dog boarding, I would like to use my house and fenced-in yard to give other pets a quiet respite when their owners need to travel-- walks, naps, and play included-- and give owners the peace of mind that their pet is somewhere comfortable and safe when they are away. I sanitize and clean my house thoroughly after each pet's visit and pick up the dog poops from my yard to reduce any illness spread between dogs. For housesitting, I would treat your pet and house as I would want my own to be treated if a sitter stayed-- as it was left if not cleaner. On weekends, your pet will have my full attention. Any errand outside of the house I need to run is less than an hour. I will take cues from your pet and your directions on how to occupy your pet's day. On weekdays, I work a 8-to-4 job with flexibility. I typically wake at 6:30AM, return around noon to check on pets + give attention/walk, and stay home after work. Depending on your pet's needs, we can burn off energy or unwind together before I ensure that your pet is settled in for the night with my bedroom door open for nighttime access. As someone whose late dog who had medical and social needs, I will follow your care instructions for your pet in activities, mealtimes, and other concerns, along with medicine administration if needed. I will not be leaving your pet alone in the yard; your pet will be kept indoor in A/C with access to the living room and kitchen during weekdays. Please plan to bring some of your pet's comfort items (toys and treats) along with their necessities to ensure they have something from home for boarding. For new clients boarding in my home, I would ask that you are present for at least fifteen minutes when dropping off your pet to allow acclimation to the space and association with me as someone positive while you and I review care instructions for your pet. If meeting in the home is not possible for boarding, a time for your pet to meet me in a Meet & Greet is essential ahead of time. I want your pet's initial time with me to be as stress-free as possible.
