About: I've taken care of dogs for 13 years. No kids and or animals at home. I love animals and welcome cats and dogs of any size or breed. I live walking distance from a soccer field with a great track for walks. Both of my senior dogs crossed the rainbow bridge recently and before their passing we had a nice routine going. I work nearby and will come home on my breaks to check on the pups and take them out on pee breaks. I have Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays off, which I normally spend at home or on hikes at local parks. I do not have a fenced in yard. However, I have no issue with pets on the furniture and I have a spare room for crates.

During that time, I’ve continued developing my skills in canine behavior, leash handling, crate training, socialization, and positive reinforcement techniques. I’m especially passionate about helping dogs become confident, well-mannered companions while making sure they feel safe, exercised, and cared for. My experience as both a lifelong dog owner and a professional pet care provider has taught me that every dog is different and deserves individualized attention, compassion, and understanding. Whether working with puppies, high-energy working breeds, or family pets, I take pride in creating a calm, positive experience for both dogs and their owners. I work from home from 8AM to 5PM. So I have plenty of time in the morning and in the evening for feeding. I also have the freedom of taking breaks to play with your pets regularly. The safety, comfort, and trust of every pet in my care is always my top priority. I work hard to create a calm, structured, and positive environment where pets can feel secure, relaxed, and cared for like family. I understand that every animal has its own personality, routines, and comfort levels, so I take the time to build trust patiently and respectfully. Whether I’m walking, training, or pet sitting, I focus on maintaining safe handling practices, close supervision, clean spaces, and consistent routines. I pay attention to behavior, stress signals, and each pet’s individual needs to help them feel confident and comfortable while away from their owners. As both a lifelong pet owner and someone who works with animals professionally, I know how important trust is when leaving your pet in someone else’s care. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care that gives both pets and owners peace of mind.
About: I have always had dogs growing up, but as an adult I gained more experience with dogs of all sizes, cats, rodents and reptiles. During my personal time, I research pet body language and health articles as I want to ensure I’m providing the best care possible while staying educated on animal behavior and health. I currently have a senior chihuahua who is 16 years old, and I do everything to keep her happy and healthy. I have professional experience with bathing dogs of all sizes, and have cared for a variety of pets. I am currently providing services on Rover part time based on my work hours as a medical assistant, but this summer plan to open up my schedule and be available nearly every day! I am choosing to offer services at my client's home at this time. I am happy to discuss all requests and rules related to caring for your pet, as I see them as family! I understand how important it is to have a trustworthy caregiver that will take your pets on safe walks, feed them the appropriate amount, and ensure their needs are met.

“We found the perfect person to watch our Gracie. MARILBEL was accommodating, sweet, and a natural dog lover. Along with her dog, Molly, Maribel gave Gracie a wonderful few days. We had tried our vet's kennel and even the "luxury" pet kennels, but our dog is a "people" dog, and was definitely traumatized by those places, and it took days for her to get back to our normal dog. Putting my dog in a cage for days is NOT what we wanted. But Maribel was our answer. She loved on Gracie, played with her, texted us with pictures, and when we picked her up, she was not traumatized. She was her happy, normal dog self. We are grateful for Maribel and highly recommend her.”
