About: Growing up we have always had dogs and cats in the house, I couldn’t imagine not having each of them! We’ve had all different breeds and sizes that each lived 11-18 years, so I am used to taking care of old dogs and puppies. About: I’ve been a vet tech for about 6 years. Before that, I managed a pet boarding facility. I grew up on a farm, so I’ve been caring for dogs and cats all my life. I’m a toddler mom, and I currently work as an emergency vet tech so I’m great at keeping calm in stressful situations. About: I started taking care of the family dog a few years ago. With him, I administered medication in a positive way and helped train him. I am comfortable using a harness and a regular collar. I also helped train my senior dog on his reactivity with positive reinforcement. Currently, I am on summer break. I work as a teacher during the school year, so my availability for the next few months is open. At my apartment, my roommate’s dog I take out every 2-3 hours and I give him lots of cuddles. About: I have had poodles, labs, chows, eight Great Danes. I take care of of my nieces three dogs when she is out of town. During Christmas Hoilday the out of town guest just bring their dogs, 4 acre lot. Involuntarily retired, I spend my days piddling on projects around the house and working on excessively old cars. Dogs have always liked me and I have always liked dogs. Dogs get feed twice a day. I have an invisible fence system. Giving pills during meal time is not an issue. I do have creates. I generally do not give treats.
