We’ve had all different breeds and sizes that each lived 11-18 years, so I am used to taking care of old dogs and puppies. About: I've had a cat nearly my whole life, starting from a tiny kitten we found under the trash bins when I was a child. I'm very chill with cats and let them come to me in their own time. About: I myself have a deaf and anxious pup. From her, I have learned how to navigate certain tough situations. I have had to put so much time and effort into her training and am watching her become an amazingly happy and well behaved dog (she even knows a bit of sign language!) I also lost a buddy back in July. He was 14 years old and required medication administration many times a day. With him I learned a lot about helping the old guys feel as happy and safe as possible because they are probably scared of the changes they are experiencing in their lives. I am very active and love going on long walks, so having a dog there would just be an extra bit of fun! I am currently in school but only taking a few classes. I'll have time to play with your pups in the evening especially if you need a night off but they still need a walk! I live in an apartment so leashes are crucial. I would never let my own dog off the leash, so I would never put your dog in a situation where something could go wrong. My own dog is quite reactive on the leash, so if I sense that we are approaching a person/dog/object that might trigger her reactivity I usually steer clear of it to avoid any kind of avoidable altercation. I want every dog to feel safe so i will adjust based on what your dog’s body language is telling me.

About: I’ve taken care of many different kinds of pets since I was a kid. I’ve walked dogs for my neighbors, fed horses, goats and chickens for family friends, and pet sat many other dogs and cats. I work from home at night, so I will be able to be attentive all day. My husband works during the day from home as well, so there will always be a set of eyes on your pet! I have a fully fenced yard. We do have 3 dogs but all are very loving and have gotten along with any animal they have met. We have a spare room that we can use to keep them separated if necessary, otherwise your pet will have free roam and will be treated like family.

On visits where a potty break is needed, they will be taken out and given treats and lots of love with some fresh water. About: Hello all! My name is Melissa and I've been working with animals most of my life and have so loved being able to do so! On top of being a pet owner all my life, I've been an avid horseback rider which meant I was always barn sitting and pet sitting from a young age. I've cared for up to 20 horses and 6 dogs at one time, so no dog is too big :) I've worked with many sizes, breeds and personalities in dogs and I take a personalized approach when it comes to pet care. I have two of my own dogs, Oakley and Theo.If you're looking for an active household, we're definitely it! We spend most of our time on our farm and work from home part of the week. Pets have always been family to us and your pets would be treated and loved just like ours. Ask me about multi dog discounts or other pricing concerns! I have a hybrid work schedule, working from home part of the week. This gives me some flexibility for pet care during the week and on the weekends! We only keep one pet/one family’s pets at a time. I am going to graduate school in September, so I have the summer off and am able to take care of your pet during the mornings and afternoons! I have plenty of free time! I would try to create a safe environment that allows your pet to be themselves! I would also try and ask questions upfront to see what kind of signs I should look for that they need to go outside or are upset! I will make sure to be very attentive with your pet!
