He is recovering from a broken hip and it has been difficult for him to walk his dog properly. We found Van and Alicia and couldn't have been happier. They truly enjoy what they do and have helped my brother is other ways too - assisting with feeding Zandi. I can't say enough wonderful things about them. The one thing i will say - is your fur-baby is in the best of hands with them and they would be lucky to have them care for them!!!!”
About: I've been around animals my entire life and have been trusted by family, friends, and neighbors to care for their pets. I have 2 dogs of my own that are my world! I have a very flexible job so I can do drop in visits and walks pretty much any time or day. I know how important it is for our pets to have company and exercise and I do not rush through visits. The most important thing to me is keeping animals safe. I am vigilant about other animals on walks and I am always mindful about doors/gates being closed.

About: I can’t remember an age where I wasn’t helping birth and raise kittens and puppies, turtles, or rodents. From having blind, toothless senior chihuahuas and senile cats…to a litter of brand new pups or kittens struggling to catch their first breath I’ve been part of it. I’ve had several rodents and reptiles, and cared for my friends and family birds as well. Trained puppies and kittens to use the potty and more. Also helped with a few farm animals too. I work only 20-25hrs a week, so I’ll always be home within 6hours or less. Outside of work, I’m home hanging out with my kids and furbabies. I have two e.s.a. Certified cats who tend to hide away when someone new is here. I’ve had them both since babies (13y & 3y). Keep things clean, organized, healthy, I had a cleaning company too. I don’t have crates on hand or an outside fence but I have a huge yard, the neighbor has a spayed female American bulldog, very friendly. There are farm animals next door. However, I do appreciate being where the pet is comfortable and knows its space.

She followed all of our somewhat odd feeding and medication instructions with no problems. Because we were staying nearby with a large group in a no pets rental, we had asked to take the dogs on outings throughout our stay. Yueqian was very accommodating. I have run an in home doggy day care, owned a pet treat bakery, earned my Vet Tech degree, worked in veterinary clinics, a specialty animal hospital, and as a pet nutrition consultant. About: I’m a lifelong animal lover whose always had dogs and cats throughout my childhood and adulthood. I also have professional experience working at a doggy daycare, where I cared for 70+ dogs each day. That experience taught me how to handle dogs with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and needs while making sure every pup feels safe, happy, and loved. At home, we have a good sized fully fenced-in yard where your dog can run, play, and get plenty of outdoor time. I also love staying active myself, so going for walks with the dogs is one of my favorite parts of pet care. Whether your pet needs some extra playtime, a good long walk, or simply some love and companionship while you’re away, I’ll treat them like one of my own. I recently moved to North Carolina from Massachusetts with my fur babies and husband for my husband’s career and to continue his college career at UNCW.
