“I planned to leave my two Cavs with Ann and Jaren while I went to a family birthday party. One of the Cavs is a poster child for the breed. No worries there. The other is a recent adoptee. She lived in a crate for years before she came to live with me. She is velcro who becomes a whirling dervish the instant I move away. Big worries there. I needed not worry at all. When it was time for me to pick them up, things were fine. It was obvious the girls had a good visit with Ann and Jaren and their pups. Highly recommend them.”

“I cannot begin to say enough about the care which Lacie provided for our Emma. She is a 16 year-old Havanese and has issues such as being blind and deaf. She also has some severe arthritis. Lacie took excellent care of her needs, took her outside multitudes daily to enjoy the sun and provided us with daily photos of how well she got along.Lacie provided excellent care and Emma and seem to be so happy. I know it was a lot of extra work because of her special needs, but Lacey was fantastic. I highly recommend Lacie!!!”

My first time sitting my dog was a terrible experience and I was terrified to sit him again but a family emergency popped up and I came across her profile. Her house is clean and she was so nice during the meet and greet, my dog Smokie adores her. Not only did she go over plans on what to do with Smokie while we were away but wrote down a detailed list of everything we told her which sits out in her home in case an emergency happened on her end that anyone coming to watch her own dogs and our dog would know exactly what he needed. She also provided us with all of her emergency contacts so we knew anyone who may be in her home. She also has close contact with the vets in the area if something should happen with our pet. She is amazingly organized and prepared. The dogs have plenty of space to roam and she even had a quiet room for the dogs that can’t roam if she had to pop out of the house and can’t bring the dogs. I will never even consider another sitter after booking with her because they all pale in comparison!”

About: Hendersonville, NC based pet sitter with a love and passion for animals! I have work experience in the dog boarding/kenneling industry, adoption work at Blue Ridge Humane Society, veterinary receptionist work at a local animal hospital, and customer service in pet retail and did some dog washing/entry level grooming. About: My name is Mac Graf and my husband and I live right outside Hendersonville, NC. I am a certified and licensed athletic trainer and am the Director of Sports Medicine as my full-time job. I work 90% of my job from home, and would love to help take the stress off your work day by allowing your fur family to hangout with me and my family for the day. I take my work seriously whether that be with my patients or with my fur friends. I fostered dogs throughout undergrad to give me more experience and make a change in an animal's life. I ended up adopting one of my foster dogs in 2020 and it was the best decision i've ever made! I rescued another dog in February of 2023, so I have lots of personal dog experience. I understand that having a dog is not just having a pet, but it is another family member. I treat them as such. With my experience as a foster, and being a pet owner myself - I know that I am responsible and loving towards all animals. I would love nothing more than to help take the stress off other dog owners, and help take care of them when needed. Since my job is 90% remote work, I have the flexibility to take my dogs on a walk or play outside in the fenced in area of our home multiple times a day. Throughout the work day they go outside multiple times - usually with a longer walk at the end of my work day. I ask the person I am dog sitting for what they want, and I always accommodate to whatever makes my client feel most comfortable with! We have two baby gates at home, so if we ever need to separate dogs in our home, we have the ability to do so. I always will be respectful of my clients and whatever their wishes are.

About: First and foremost, I absolutely adore animals! Even as a kid, I would only accompany my mother to visit her friends, who had dogs or cats in their home. I appreciate, respect, and can relate to the bond humans have with their pets. They are very much family and there's nothing more satisfying than seeing your fur baby comfortable, relaxed, and content, in our home or yours, while you're away. We only board 2 dogs at a time, to ensure a quiet, calm, and more relaxing stay, and have a large fenced in backyard for playtime. Dogs staying with us must be house trained. We also have a cat, who loves to play with dogs, so to ensure his safety, any dogs boarding with us must be cat friendly. Some of my previous work experience includes 4 years as a veterinary assistant and I'm comfortable with administering medication, if needed. I have dog training experience and have even trained two of our own to become registered therapy dogs. Together, we serve our community by providing pet therapy in shelters for domestic violence victims, assisted living facilities, our local university, in elementary schools, and wherever she's needed. I currently work with German Shepherd Rescue organizations, assessing temperaments/behavior, conducting home visits, and fostering. We live near the airport, which makes it ideal for dropping off and picking up when traveling for work or going on vacation. Several of my clients leave their babies with us when leaving the country. In addition to dog sitting for many friends and family members over the years, I've also taken care of cats, horses, goats, and even iguanas! About: I have had dogs, fish, and rodents all my life. I volunteered at the Asheville Humane Society early into my teenage years. My previous job was at a dog daycare, which I worked at for one year. After I left that job I began working as a pet bather at a grooming salon. I recently left that job as I wanted to go back to school, and now started volunteering for the Asheville Humane Society again. I have pet sat for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, mice, fish, rabbits, pretty much anything. I am happy do feed, walk, play with, or just snuggle with any critter you might have! Beginning in August I will be in school and will not be able to do any services until 1:00 or later on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I also go to church Sunday mornings and also cannot do any services before 1:00. “I cannot recommend Kali for you enough! SHE IS A GEM! My first time sitting my dog was a terrible experience and I was terrified to sit him again but a family emergency popped up and I came across her profile. Her house is clean and she was so nice during the meet and greet, my dog Smokie adores her. Not only did she go over plans on what to do with Smokie while we were away but wrote down a detailed list of everything we told her which sits out in her home in case an emergency happened on her end that anyone coming to watch her own dogs and our dog would know exactly what he needed. She also provided us with all of her emergency contacts so we knew anyone who may be in her home. She also has close contact with the vets in the area if something should happen with our pet. She is amazingly organized and prepared. The dogs have plenty of space to roam and she even had a quiet room for the dogs that can’t roam if she had to pop out of the house and can’t bring the dogs. I will never even consider another sitter after booking with her because they all pale in comparison!”

I got pictures and a short report every day which eased any concerns I might have had (I really didn't have any after the meet and greet). Their house is very clean and comfortable, and David and April made sure to give Winnie the attention she needed to quickly adjust. I am very thankful I have been able to find someone who I feel so comfortable with - and will look forward to my next trip knowing Winnie will be very well cared for.”
