I’ve had dogs my whole life and have raised several from puppies through their senior years, including a rescue, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of needs and personalities. My home is very pet-friendly, with a large backyard for play and space to relax. I also have a 5-year-old lab and a young child, so safety is a top priority. I only accept dogs that are gentle and a good fit for a family environment. My goal is simple: to give your pet a safe, calm, and genuinely cared-for place that feels as close to home as possible. I am currently working part-time, so I am home frequently. My roomate and I often work together to care for your pets, so they won't be left alone for long periods of time. My schedule is pretty flexible, so I'm available 24/7 unless I am going out of town. I usually work Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 5pm-10pm. I prefer drop offs no earlier than 8am, but I can accommodate if needed. I prefer to do a meet and greet before overnight boarding. I cant always accommodate last minute bookings, but don't hesitate to reach out. I have a large fenced in yard, one very playful 5 year old lab, and a friendly toddler. About: I’ve taken care of my dog and my aunt’s dog since I was nine. I’m twenty now and both of my fur babies are still kicking, barking, and happy. I’ve always loved animals, even helping to rescue some when I was little such as these two baby ducks and other little birdies and frogs too. I go to Old Dominion University so I can take business there in nearby area that is within 60 minutes of walking distance as I do not have a car or drive and rely on family and my boyfriend and friends for transportation. I do rely on my mother, brother or friends for transportation but they are willing to help and be available as needed. Please give me a chance and you won’t regret it. :) I make sure the pets first get to know me, smell me, and recognize me to be comfortable with me. Then, I interact with them more by playing with them and giving them rubs and cuddles so they can feel more connected and comfortable. Then, definitely make sure they eat and drink the right food for their health and nourishment. Then, walk them so they can do their business and get exercise and always make sure they have a leash on. Next, make sure they are groomed and cleaned well and freshen up from the outdoors. Then spend more time with them until our fun is over and they are returned with their beloved owners. I will have a whole day well planned and you and your fur babies will appreciate it. :)

My Cavalier Spaniel Sally does and your dog will be treated the same way. I love to walk my dog (3 times a day) and take her for a ride in the car to a nearby park every day. Sally loves friends to come visit. Let me spoil and pamper your best friend. I will also give any special medications and cook/prepare food for special dietary needs. Water changed three times a day and always cold with ice. I'm never away from the house more than 2 or 3 hours a few times during the work week and my husband is home at 4 PM! I can't leave my dog for more than 3 hours at a time and I won't do that to yours!

About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life. I have experience with all ages and senior care, as my childhood dog is now 13, and I frequently pet sit and care for her. I am an ultrasound technician, and I am taking a break from working full time. I stay home and care for our home, and get to love on my doggy in the meantime. My dog Chili is a two year old rescue who was previously abused and became a stray. We had to help her overcome her anxiety through trust and training. We trained her to walk and potty on a leash, crate training, dog and people socialization, commands, and to be off leash. I have learned lots of patience and training skills to help her become comfortable with us and others. Now she is my little velcro dog and protector haha! About: Hello! I am a young woman, in her early twenties, just trying to make some money while I focus hard on school and eventually get into real estate. I have had several pets that lived long and healthy lives. My oldest was a cat named Ellie who live to 19, the second oldest was Kelli, who recently passed at 17. Both pets I and took care of my whole life, and though I miss them every single day, I now have Nala(5) and Zara(2) who love to hang out with me all day. They especially love being ALL IN my business when I’m in the bathroom or doing yoga😭. I’ve been a house sitter for a few different people in my neighborhood. One family i housesat for not only had two dogs(one senior), but also two cats and large fish tank. I can care for Reptiles too💗 I currently don’t work. I deliver food to make money right now as an income while I am in school, Then I possibly babysit a 4 year old few days a week. I’ve a 8 foot privacy fence around my house and two beautiful Maine Coon cats. Their names are Nala and Zara, and they are let outside in our backyard daily. They have all of their indoor/outdoor shots and all of the other shots they need. The preventative flee medicine we have is applied monthly and have every trinket and product to prevent and rid of flees that you could possibly think of. One of my previous older cats was severely allergic so we became professionals at eradicating them in my household.

I’ve been petting sitting for 8 years now and it has been one of the most rewarding and fun jobs I’ve ever had. I treat every pet like my own. Our pets are our family and it can be stressful leaving them with someone else while you’re gone, I want to always make sure to make that as stress free as possible! I absolutely love animals, especially dogs. My older sister is a veterinarian and used to groom dogs and she used to let me help her out and play with the dogs to calm them down. I was also able to walk them when needed as well. As pet sitting is my full time job, I also work part time at the Zoo! However the pets always come first and foremost! I've always loved dogs and cats and I will treat yours as if it was my own. If your pet has any special requirements or needs please let me know in advance. I'm very easy to work with and I will try my hardest to make you and your pet happy. I am also available to look after any more pets you have such as reptiles, birds, etc. I work with any and all animals! I’m not scared of any of them! Snakes, rats, spiders, birds, you name it. About: Hello, I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and turtles. For the past four years, I’ve mostly been house-sitting/taking care of a good neighbor/friend turtle who I love dearly. I’ve put her to bed and cleaned her cage, along with feeding her while sitting with her for 3+ hours most days. I’ve learned to care for pets as if they are my own and love all animals. :)) Pet care is a vital and seamless part of my daily and weekly routine. Over the past four years, I have taken care of dogs, cats, and especially a neighbor's turtle, who I have grown to love dearly. Each day, I ensure that she is fed and her cage is cleaned, and I spend over three hours sitting with her, ensuring she feels loved and cared for. This routine has taught me to care for pets as if they were my own and deepened my love for all animals. Incorporating pet care into my schedule is crucial to me. I ensure my pet is happy and healthy, from morning walks to evening snuggles. Every activity, whether feeding, brushing, or playing, is an opportunity to deepen our bond and show my pets the love and attention they deserve. Balancing pet care with my other responsibilities, such as my involvement in ROTC at Norwich University for the past three years, has honed my discipline and time management skills. In addition to my ROTC commitments this summer, I am taking summer courses and have lacrosse practices. Despite these busy schedules, I always ensure that pet care remains integral to my routine, reflecting my dedication to their well-being. As a dedicated pet caregiver/Owner, my approach to pet care is tailored to the pet's needs and the environment. I prioritize creating a safe and nurturing space in my own home or while providing services for clients. This includes regular feeding schedules, enriching activities such as walks or playtime, administering medications if needed, and maintaining cleanliness through regular grooming and sanitation practices. Additionally, I strive to provide ample affection and attention to ensure each pet feels valued and loved, whether under my roof or in the comfort of a client's home.

“Shawn was my third experience with boarding BUT my FIRST with a ROVER provider for my two standard golden doodles. (My first 2 boarding sessions ended in disaster, not sure I would consider EVER boarding again) my Grandaughter suggested I contact ROVER and give them a chance! I was highly impressed with the questions SHAWN asked me to determine the “Best Fit”. I am a bit OCD when it comes to my Twinlets and he more than met my expectations for a CARING AND conscientious provider. My COMET was recovering from a post trauma surgical wound and SHAWN kept a close eye on it with update photos. Shawn even hung in there with a hurricane event on the coast . The videos he sent to me over the week I sent to family and friends and their unanimous comment was “The pupsters really looked like they were having a good time” I look forward to contacting Shawn for possible future boarding needs .”

“First two practice days were great! Disconcerting how quickly Leto seemed as excited about going there as he was at seeing me. As I was taking him early AM before we caught our plane for our 9 day trip he was up looking out the window in Jessica's neighborhood. Ran right up to the their door and ran in once opened. I checked in a few times while I was gone and Jessica was quick to respond and also sent me a few photos. He was certainly happy to see me when I picked him up but he was visibly comfortable in his "vacation" home. He was healthy and happy and I do not have any more concerns about leaving him. “My girl had a great experience. We had a great meet and greet and communication leading up to the stay was excellent. I was very nervous leaving Aly partly because she’s a year old and “mostly a good puppy” and I didn’t want her to be a problem. Also have never left any of my dogs with someone I didn’t know. Mikaelan was wonderful about responding to all of my “How is she?” texts with updates and photos which gave me so much peace of mind. By day 2 I was able to relax and I still received daily reports about Aly’s adventures with her temporary humans and new BFFs. Aly came home happy and tired. I really appreciated the care and communication”
