About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! Growing up, I was surrounded by all kinds of pets—from dogs and cats to hamsters and rats—and I’ve always loved caring for animals. I’ve also had the opportunity to foster kittens and gain hands-on experience with a variety of pets. My mom was a veterinary technician for 30 years, so I grew up learning a lot about animal care, behavior, and what it means to keep pets happy and healthy. At 18, I started my own pet-sitting business back home in Connecticut. When I moved out of state, I left the business behind, but I’ve always wanted to get back into pet sitting—and now feels like the perfect time! I currently have two cats and two ball pythons of my own. My schedule is also very flexible right now, which means I’m able to give your pets plenty of time, attention, and care. I’m comfortable with friendly, social cats, but I also understand that some cats need time to warm up to a new person. I have experience with timid or nervous cats and won’t force attention or interaction if they aren’t comfortable. I’m also comfortable following special feeding routines, giving medications as instructed, cleaning litter boxes, providing playtime, and making sure they get plenty of attention in whatever way they prefer. Some cats want you to play with them for an hour, while others would prefer you quietly exist in the same room while they judge you from across the house. I’m good with either.
“Lindsay did an exceptional job looking after my cat for two weeks. I hired her to house sit with my 8 year old cat, plus give him his daily medicine. My cat, abandoned as a 4-5 month old kitten, has his share of issues and doesn't handle well meeting new people. But when Lindsay came to meet him, he didn't hide and actually let her pet him. His instinct told him he'd be okay with her, and he was. I will definitely hire Lindsay again!”

“My boyfriend and I went to myrtle beach for a little weekend get away before we started up college again. We decided to take our dog, haezel with us, because she’d never been on a trio or saw the beach before. Sunday was our last day to finish up our plans before we had to leave, so we looked for a sitter. I searched and searched and searched for hours, until we ran into this sweet lady. We had been looking for a sitter since 9am, at this point it was 2pm and Ms.Debra was the most amazing life saver. About: I’ve grown up with cats my whole life and currently have a 15lb dachshund and 3 cats in the house. All are very friendly. Any animal is welcome in my home. I work in a hospital three days a week. So I have four days completely free to take care of your pets. My bestfriend lives with me as well and is always around to help. There’s always someone home. I’ve served 5 years active duty navy and currently in the reserves so I do have common sense and can read and follow directions with precision. I work with dogs and their families on obedience, leash skills, everyday manners, and behavior challenges.
