“This is the first time I’ve left my dog Lucy with anyone since adopting her and Celeste and Joe took such great care of her. They sent me updates showing how comfortable she was in their home. Highly recommend them and happily will let Lucy stay with them anytime I need to go out of town without her.”

“We were so nervous to leave our boy, having only boarded him once in his life—but Skyla has been absolutely wonderful. She’s communicative, insightful, and truly cares for the pups she watches. Our high-energy German Shepherd gets multiple walks, outdoor playtime, and even training sessions with her. You can tell she loves what she does. We’re incredibly grateful to have found her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for thoughtful, attentive care.”

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! Growing up, I was surrounded by all kinds of pets—from dogs and cats to hamsters and rats—and I’ve always loved caring for animals. I’ve also had the opportunity to foster kittens and gain hands-on experience with a variety of pets. My mom was a veterinary technician for 30 years, so I grew up learning a lot about animal care, behavior, and what it means to keep pets happy and healthy. At 18, I started my own pet-sitting business back home in Connecticut. When I moved out of state, I left the business behind, but I’ve always wanted to get back into pet sitting—and now feels like the perfect time! I currently have two cats and two ball pythons of my own. My schedule is also very flexible right now, which means I’m able to give your pets plenty of time, attention, and care. My time spent with your pets will involve lots of love and cuddles, walks and playtime, as well as treats as appropriate. I also have experience with administering medications to pets, so if this is something you need assistance with just let me know! I know how much our pets mean to us, and I’ll treat yours like they’re part of my own family. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry (or scaly!) family members! 🐾 I'm currently in between jobs and looking for something part-time so I have plenty of time to care for your babies, whether that be drop-ins or boarding. If needed, I have a dog crate at home for the safety of your pet while I am not at home. I have a 3 bedroom home in a peaceful community in Conway.
“Debra was great with our Roxy. We live in a fairly rural area, so Roxy does not get a lot of interaction with others, but we do know that she does not play well with other dogs, so it was great to hear Debra discuss what her plans were and that she had a nice fenced in back yard that Roxy could run around in without any chance encounters. In talking with her it was obvious that she has a lot of experience with dogs and we could tell from the daily updates and photos that Roxy was in the best of hands. This was by far the most comfortable we have felt with someone watching Roxy and could tell after picking her up she was well cared for. At kennels or other boarding places she always was a bit skiddish or even sick, but picking her up from Debra she was right back into her normal routine, was healthy, and didn't miss a beat. We are so greatful to Debra and will be using her again.”

“Luciana and C V. watched our 5 year old lab while we were out on the country for 9 nights and we’re so grateful for what good care they took of him while we were gone. They have watched Remi many times before and we will be using them in the future again!”

“Bennett’s stay with Amanda was more than we expected. We are absolutely thrilled to have had such a wonderful experience with her as Bennett’s sitter. Bennett has never stayed with anyone other than family members, but that usually hasn’t gone as smoothly. She remained in contact with us through updates which was great and helped us worry less. She even managed to take some of the best holiday photos of Bennett next to her Christmas tree which we were amazed by. Amanda’s care was exceptional and loving. We look forward to using her again.”

“Can't say enough great things about Atina. She took excellent care of my 16 year old "puppy." She almost instantly made her feel at home (and sent plenty of pics so I could relax as well!) and had her happily bouncing around with the pack by the first morning. Great set up and carer!”

“Very good with Benny. Kept me updated on him. Sent me photos throughout his stay. He was well taken care of💚 Would 10/10 recommend. 💯 Im Definitely using Charles & his lovely wife.💚 Thank you so much!🫶🏽”

Janice sent us great photos too. It helped to see her having so much fun with her new friends. We will definitely be asking Janice to take care of our baby anytime we need someone. “This was my first time using Rover. Robert was amazing. We hired him to drop in on our 2 cats while away on an extended vacation. It was clear from our first meeting that he really enjoys taking care of animals to give folks piece of mind while they're away. He sent daily pics to check in and even managed to coax our shy one from his usual hiding spots. Would highly reccomend.”

“Debra is AMAZING. Had daily updates everyday even with pictures. So reliable and caring towards our kitties. Will be booking again in near future. Very greatful we found her”

I have cat sit for multiple people and am ready to take on more kitty clients.
“Our cat was in great hands while we were away! Chantel came by daily, made sure everything was taken care of, and sent us photos each day, which we really appreciated. It was such a relief knowing our kitty was comfortable and cared for. Would absolutely book again!”

“Marie was kind enough to watch our Kitties over the Christmas Holidays. We were supposed to be home on January 2nd but our flight got cancelled on us. Marie was kind enough last minute to watch our cats and extra 4 days last minute.”

“Tawny was great! I have 4 dogs, ranging in sizes, and they are very high maintenance. she did great with all of them! About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 10 years old because I grew up on a farm. Family, friends and neighbors have trusted me with taking care of there pets such as walking, bathing and feeding. I have taken care of puppies and elderly dogs and I am also currently going through the process of becoming a certified pet trainer. I’m a full-time college student and mom, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I’m home a lot and can make time throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, feeding, and check-ins. I’m also able to work around your pet’s normal routine so they don’t have to feel like their schedule is being completely changed while you’re away. I live in a townhouse with a fenced-in patio where pets can safely get some fresh air and play. I have pets of my own who are friendly, but I’m also happy to keep them separated if your pet is more comfortable on their own. I’m big on making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, and I’ll follow any instructions you leave for me.
“Holly did an amazing job taking care of our animals while we were on an extended vacation. She provided updates every drop in visit and I felt comfortable knowing my animals were well cared for. Will use her again for our next vacation!”

About: I understand, as a pet owner myself, that finding someone you trust to care for your furry family members isn't easy. Well, look no further because I'm your girl. I am the sole owner/operator of My Kids Have Paws Pet Sitting, and I have relocated to Longs, SC. I've built a successful clientele base in Colleton County over the last several years, and I'm excited to bring my experience, passion, and love for all animals to Horry County. I have a special place in my heart for furry, four-legged kids. I've opened my heart and home to many dogs & cats through the years, and I'd love to share that love with your precious family members. Animals are where my heart is, and I love spending my day engulfed in the unbridled enthusiasm and love that these wonderful creatures provide. I've also really enjoyed volunteering at animal shelters, and I wish that I could rescue them all. That's just one reason you can trust me to care for your pet as if they were my own. I've made caring for your furry kids my full-time DREAM job. My services include a drop-in visit while you're away or overnight care in your home. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chinchillas, and reptiles, and my specialty is small farms including chickens/birds, horses, pigs, goats and cows. You can feel confident knowing your babies are in great hands with me. After all, my kids have paws. Love, Heather Adair I have been pet sitting full-time since 2017 and my goal is to keep your fur babies in their usual happy & comfortable in their routine. I love what I do and again, I'm stepping in to mimick your pet's routine and give them lots of love and attention while you're away.
“Lindsay did an exceptional job looking after my cat for two weeks. I hired her to house sit with my 8 year old cat, plus give him his daily medicine. My cat, abandoned as a 4-5 month old kitten, has his share of issues and doesn't handle well meeting new people. But when Lindsay came to meet him, he didn't hide and actually let her pet him. His instinct told him he'd be okay with her, and he was. I will definitely hire Lindsay again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 5, growing up my street had so many chihuahuas. I will take care of your pets like they’re my own. Right now I’m in college so I’m doing this for a little extra money and for something to do. I would love this extra time to care and love your pets as if they are my own plus it would give me something to do. (I promise I have so much free time on my hands this would really help lol) I would keep your dog inside. We would do activities such as walking your dog at a park or around my house. You must bring your own dog/cat food.

“Joe and Celeste took great care of my little Shih Tzu, Josie. She was so excited to pal around with their dogs, who are incredibly sweet and friendly. Josie got to play all day and enjoy the sunshine!”
“Left our fur baby with Skyla while we were visiting from out of town. Skyla was great and loving! She made Luna feel comfortable and provided her with lots of activities and play time. She kept us informed throughout the day which made us feel at ease. So thankful we were able to count on her to watched Luna while we vacationed!”

“Digo loves being at daycare! Janet keeps him active and assures that he is socializing with other dogs. She takes him outside often and keeps him inside when weather is not conducive. She introduced him to kiddie pool and she reinforces training including housebreaking and simple commands such as “sit”. Janet is also very flexible with schedule - I’m a nurse and my hours are very early and long! We are very fortunate to have found Janet!”

About: I treat my dogs like my children. My dogs are living with my ex husband and I want to share my love for dogs with yours. My biggest fear was a dog sitter would not recognize if my dog got sick while I was away. My vet does not believe in kennels and we have followed his advice. It makes me much happier knowing they are not in a concrete cage all day. I had been looking into opening a dog day care but this is more rewarding. I will treat your pet like my own. I am pretty much available 24/7 in my home. Your pet will have the run of my house. Your pet will be part of my one person family. It will be just me and your pet. No other dogs will be in the house. I only take in one dog at a time and have great references. I do Rover at my home in New Hampshire over the winter and CT over the summer and you can see my great reviews. Your pet will have the run of my house, and will cuddle on the couch with me and/or sleep on my bed. I will walk your pet personally.
“Amanda was GREAT!!! First time doing doggy daycare and I was highly satisfied. As I pulled into the driveway both her and her daughter was outside waiting on Luna. Throughout the day she messaged me on how Luna was doing and also sent pictures. She enjoyed so much she slept from the time I picked her up til the next morning. Definitely booking on the regular.”

“Leah was wonderful- accommodating us for a little last-minute time adjustment and was kind and easygoing. Our dog Pearl seemed to have a super fun time with her dogs, came home tired (in a good way) and happy. Would definitely use her again. Thank you Leah!”

About: I’ve grown up with cats my whole life and currently have a 15lb dachshund and 3 cats in the house. All are very friendly. Any animal is welcome in my home. I work in a hospital three days a week. So I have four days completely free to take care of your pets. My bestfriend lives with me as well and is always around to help. There’s always someone home. I’ve served 5 years active duty navy and currently in the reserves so I do have common sense and can read and follow directions with precision. I have a car if needed for any reason and love being outdoors as much as possible so we can always go on nice long walks. I have a huge fenced in yard so we’ll spend plenty of time in the sun.

“Abigail was an amazing Dog Sitter. She kept me updated with videos and pictures of my dogs. They had a great time hanging out with two other little dogs that she was dog sitting. When I am in Myrtle Beach., I would absolutely use Abigail‘s services again”

“Storm has stayed twice now, and it was great. Storm was excited to see them first thing this morning. And although she was happy to see me when I picked her up, I know she loves Luciana & CV. Feel confident that Storm will be happy, lovef and cared for when she goes for her weekend visit.”

About: I have been a Yorkie, schnauzer or spaniel owner for years and just love the little furry family members. Currently Maggie May (my sweet rescue) and I love the opportunity to walk, keep and cuddle your "family member". I even make dog biscuits for the cutie pies if their owners give the okay. The safety and happiness of your dog is my primary concern. They will get a lot of love and the best possible care. Bottom line, I am an animal lover! I have been the go to person for my friends for years when they need a dog sitter or walker. I love having four legged friends as guests in my home. I work from home so am always available for the fur babies. Generally most of our furry friends love sitting in my office with me and checking out what is going on outside from the double window on the front wall. I have a fenced backyard and enjoy walking my Maggie May everyday. We enjoy playing together and just sitting ourside on the patio in the sunshine.

“Cheryl was a wonderful pet sitter, she took very good care of my dog that has separation anxiety. She only takes one dog at a time which I love, I know that my dog is going to get the attention that she needs. Sheryl is very thoughtful caring and made my dog feel very comfortable. She took her on long walks, and made her feel comfortable. I will definitely use her again whenever I am in town. She is the best dog sitter in this area.”
“Lisa was the perfect setter i was looking for.she really care .she never make me worry by continuing contact me during the day about how my puppy is doing.she give a nice walk to my puppy i couldn’t do it that long .myself.i really recommend here if u care about your best friend look no further for someone to care for”

“Atina and Sean were very patient with our boys, our older one is very anxious and doesn't like to leave Mom too much. Atina made sure to reach out to me and let me know that Finnegan is adapting well and doing a great job settling in for the day! We would recommend them again to anyone.”

About: What Sets Me Apart Your pet won’t just be “watched” here—they’ll be truly cared for like family. Because I work from home, your pet will have consistent, all-day attention, plenty of interaction, and lots of love. They’ll never feel alone or overlooked. I bring a lifetime of hands-on experience with all kinds of animals, so I’m comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and needs—from playful pups to more timid or senior pets who need a gentler touch. My home offers a large yard for safe play and fresh air, giving pets the space to run, explore, and enjoy themselves while staying in a secure, supervised environment. Most importantly, I’m naturally gentle, patient, and attentive. I take the time to learn your pet’s routine, preferences, and quirks so they feel comfortable, happy, and at ease while you’re away. You can expect regular updates, lots of affection, and peace of mind knowing your pet is in a calm, loving home—not a kennel. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily life because I run a small in-home business, which means I’m home the majority of the day. Having furry friends here is truly a bonus to my routine—I love the extra company and all the snuggle time they bring! Throughout the day, I’m able to give pets consistent attention, potty breaks, playtime, and affection, rather than just quick check-ins. Whether it’s relaxing nearby while I work, playing outside in the yard, or curling up for naps, your pet will be included in a calm, loving environment. Because I’m already home and active, your pet becomes a natural part of my day—not an afterthought. They’ll get plenty of interaction, supervision, and love. My goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and loving home environment where your pet can relax and feel right at home. I’m currently in the process of having my yard fully fenced, and in the meantime, all outdoor time is closely supervised to ensure your pet’s safety. Pets in my care enjoy a balance of playtime, rest, and affection throughout the day. I provide fun activities like outdoor play and even water play on warmer days for pets who enjoy it. Inside, there are plenty of cozy spots to nap, relax, and feel secure. With your approval, I love to offer treats and positive reinforcement to help pets feel happy and comfortable. I also include gentle pet massage and extra snuggle time, which many dogs absolutely love—it helps them relax and feel at ease while they’re away from home. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine and personality so they feel safe, cared for, and truly part of the family during their stay.
“We are not from NMB but our son had a baseball tournament there. So glad we found Christy. Not only was she near the ballpark, but Cosmo had a blast with some new fur buddies! Thank you Christy for taking care of Cosmo. He had so much fun he immediately knocked out on our drive home. We’ll definitely reach out again the next time we’re in NMB.”

About: Growing up in the animal rescue and care world, I’ve looked after everything from horses to mice. Over the years, I’ve fostered, reconditioned, and rehomed abused and abandoned animals, helping them learn to trust again. I’m experienced in animal behavior across life stages, including neonatal and senior pets. My goal is to provide every animal I meet with as much love, guidance, and attentive care as they deserve. I live on a small homestead with my husband, a stay-at-home dad and disabled veteran, and our four children. About: I am a certified, licensed, and insured dog trainer and the owner of Chaos To Clarity K9. I work with dogs and their families on obedience, leash skills, everyday manners, and behavior challenges. Many of the dogs I help are everyday family dogs who need guidance with things like pulling on leash, barking, jumping, reactivity, or learning how to settle in the home. I also enjoy working with puppies and helping owners build strong foundations early through clear communication and consistency. I have a strong interest in behavior modification, especially helping dogs work through fear, stress, and reactivity at a pace that keeps them comfortable and learning. My husband is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and a combat veteran and former military police K9 handler who trained civilian police dogs. Because of his veterinary background, I’m also able to consult with him when behavior questions may have a possible medical component, which can sometimes play a role in behavior. I also understand that dogs live in real families with real challenges. I live with multiple sclerosis and am raising an autistic four-year-old, so I appreciate how important it is for training to be practical, realistic, and supportive of the household environment. My goal is always to help create calmer, safer, and more enjoyable relationships between dogs and the people who love them. One thing that’s very important to me is paying attention to canine body language and stress signals. Dogs communicate constantly through subtle changes in posture, facial expression, and movement, and recognizing those signals early can prevent many behavior problems from escalating. During training, I help owners learn how to recognize what their dog is communicating so they can respond in a way that builds trust, confidence, and better behavior over time. Dog training is part of my regular weekly routine, and I intentionally keep my schedule structured so each client receives focused attention. My current training availability is: • Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM • Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM • Thursday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM • Sunday: Afternoon appointments available by request Closed: Monday and Friday Because each dog and family has unique needs, I limit the number of training sessions I take each week so I can provide thoughtful, individualized guidance and follow-up support between sessions. Safety, trust, and clear communication are always my top priorities when working with dogs and their families. I pay close attention to canine body language and stress signals to make sure dogs remain comfortable and able to learn during training. Training sessions focus on creating a calm, structured environment where both the dog and owner can succeed. I work at the dog’s pace and help owners understand what their dog is communicating so they can respond clearly and confidently. My goal is to create training plans that are safe, practical, and sustainable for everyday life, helping dogs feel more secure while helping owners feel supported throughout the process.

About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I have been apart of the Rover community for around 5 years now. I am constantly around animals and having to commit myself to taking care of them. I am comfortable around all dogs and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs I will dedicate my time to loving them. I would love to be able to take them to the dog park where they can also interact with other animals while you’re away! I am currently home full time and am available for drop ins or house sittings when needed! I am also flexible and can accept last minute bookings. When in your home, I would love to take your fur babies for walks, to dog parks, anything you already do with them to make them the most comfortable! My attention is on my love for animals so I have plenty of availability to care for your pets. I’m available on weekdays anytime and most weekends I will make sure your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for at all times. I’m happy to follow your instructions and keep their routine consistent!
About: Hello I’m Rylie! I love all animals especially dogs! I’m currently a college student looking to earn some extra money. As your dog sitter I promise to take care of your furry kid like it was my own, I’m very open to learning new routines, and I have a very flexible schedule. Also, I happen to have six dogs of my own and am very passionate about my job as a dog sitter. I strongly believe that animals aren’t just a pet they are part of the family. I love going on runs around the neighborhood, playing in the back yard and going to the local park with the dogs I sit. I look forward to meeting you and you’re beautiful family! Thank you. Rylie

“Janet was absolutely wonderful to my elder Chihuahua Pork Chop and my new addition to the family Nacho. She took Wonderful care of them and kept me updated with photos. She has been my pet sitter since 2018.”

“Donna was amazing! Kept me informed throughout each day of his stay with pics. This was my first rover and I was totally at ease with Donna. Thankful I found her and will definitely use her again.”

“Jennifer did an amazing job taking care of Ozzy! He was so happy and loving when we picked him up. He had a blast playing and made new friends. What a blessing we found Jennifer she is a true fur baby lover and she made Ozzy feel welcomed and loved!”

“I was fortunate to find Cyrus through your app. Cyrus took exceptional care of Sitka. Sitka had a great time spent at his farm, and Cyrus genuinely loved my boy. I will be using Cyrus in the future.”

“Frank had a blast with Abi and her daughter and they showed him so much love during his stay. He got plenty of play time with them as well as other dogs. We received plenty of updates during his stay through photos, videos, and messages throughout each day.”

“Katelyn was wonderful with Oscar and extremely responsive. She sent me many texts and pictures to keep me updated on how Oscar was doing. Great fenced in yard and Oscar loves the sun! Thanks Katelyn for taking such good care!”

“It was our first time leaving Lady. Janice took such great care of her. She has a fenced in backyard which made it perfect for Lady to play with her new dog friends. This made her stay the best! Janice sent us great photos too. It helped to see her having so much fun with her new friends. We will definitely be asking Janice to take care of our baby anytime we need someone. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Lady!!!”

“If I had more than five stars I would gladly give Melissa more! This was our first time using Rover and our Lizzy’s first time overnight for a whole week with a stranger. Melissa was amazing from the start. Made sure Lizzy (and we) were comfortable there. She provided me with regular updates and pictures all week. She has a few sweet little dogs of her own and they became fast friends with Lizzy. She gave Lizzy free rein of her home, took her for walks and gave her lots and lots and lots of love!! I would hire Melissa again in a heartbeat!”

“Alyssa was wonderful! Her care, kindness and understanding of the needs of our boy Keanu was so appreciated. She was so patient and caring when Keanu and the other pups were getting to know each other for the first time. We will definitely be using Alyssa’s services again. Thank you Alyssa!!”

“We were so fortunate that Amanda was available last minute for us. We traveled from Virginia to NC to visit family with our Australian shepherd mix, Josie. We had intended to take Josie on all our outings with us. It was just way too hot to keep her out all day, so we got on Rover (we have used it at home numerous times) and were lucky enough to find Amanda. Josie enjoyed playing with her children and the family pets as well. We know she was much happier there that being out in the heat all day. Amanda responded quickly to our request and took great care of Josie. We would definitely use her again.”
