I am very picky about who I leave my dog with, and do not trust her with sitters often - and Melissa was the perfect sitter to calm my fears! She was so accommodating in every way - pick up and drop off times, date changes, etc. She sent me many pictures and updates on Sasha everyday, and it was a great relief being able to keep up with how Sasha was doing through Melissa's updates. I would recommend Melissa for anyone - her children were VERY sweet, polite, and so welcoming to Sasha during her whole stay. Overall it was a great experience! About: Your dog won't just be sitting around in my home, I'll likely be giving it attention or playing with it majority of my time (unless that's not what the dog wants). I love every size of dog, especially very large dogs that love to cuddle. I've owned a lab for 9 years and a blue heeler for 11. My lab has been everything from difficult to the most pleasant dog you'll meet so I have experience with it all. I often go on runs so if you have an athletic dog or one that needs lots of exercise I've got you. I have no time constraints after 2pm half of the week, and 4pm the other half of the week. If I am watching your dog at my place I am definitely not opposed to early morning walks, I enjoy getting up early to walk them.

About: I grew up on a farm so I have experience with many different kinds of animals as well as administering medications. I have also cared for my own pets from babies through the golden years. I had two cats with diabetes that required sugar tests and insulin shots. I currently have a sheltie that is high energy and loves play time. My husband and I currently work from home so we are available to your beloved member of the family as requested. We are usually up around 7am and go to sleep about 10pm With a fenced in yard, play time can be any time for as long as they want. There are also some nice walking areas around my home that are very low in traffic as it is usually just the fellow home owners around.
