The sitter was great and helped me find Norma, located in the same area. Norma and I connected and set up a meet and greet. She was very patient with me and my dog who isn't around other dogs often. Although easy going and calm, my dog's behavior was unknown and unpredictable around other dogs. He's easily excited around other dogs at times. Norma and I wanted to make sure the long stay (10+ days) would be a good fit for everyone. During the stay, Norma provided updates daily. She sent status reports along with pictures and asked questions to determine how to get the desired reaction from my dog or to find out what she could do to mimic our home routine. Norma was also flexible with pick up, drop off times and easily agreed to a one day extension. She's a true dog lover and treated my dog as one of her own.”

If it is too hot outside I may limit the time for the walk. I will also bring a water bottle with a bowl to make sure your dog does not overheat.
About: I have had dogs all my life. As a RVT rest assured they will be taken care of while you are gone! I’m happy to exercise and entertain them while you are gone! I do work full time but can offer drop in services before and after work, as well as my lunch break. I am available any day of the week! I am a trained veterinary professional and feel comfortable with most set ups people have. I do not offer in home boarding or overnights. I am happy to work with the clients routine.

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Growing up with six family dogs, I gained experience with all kinds of personalities, ages, and needs. Recently, I helped care for three of my senior dogs through their later years, teaching me the importance of patience and attentiveness. I’ve been dog sitting for friends, family, and neighbors since elementary school and have been caring for pets through Rover since high school. I also have volunteer experience with animal shelters and am comfortable with dogs of all breeds, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. Before I left for college, I worked at a doggy day care and pet owners trusted me to care for their pets while they are away. Although easy going and calm, my dog's behavior was unknown and unpredictable around other dogs. He's easily excited around other dogs at times. Norma and I wanted to make sure the long stay (10+ days) would be a good fit for everyone. During the stay, Norma provided updates daily. She sent status reports along with pictures and asked questions to determine how to get the desired reaction from my dog or to find out what she could do to mimic our home routine. Norma was also flexible with pick up, drop off times and easily agreed to a one day extension. She's a true dog lover and treated my dog as one of her own.”

“Deborah was the perfect sitter for our dog MaryAnn while we were away for 12 days overseas. We loved that Deborah had a big fenced in back yard, worked from home, and only took on one dog at a time. It helped recreate our dog’s typical experience at home. Deborah was quick to respond to our booking inquiry and was happy to set up a meet and greet in which she took many notes. Deborah clearly had a lot of dog experience on and off Rover and she was confident she and MaryAnn would get on well. Deborah would send us frequent updates and even handled MaryAnns tummy issues. She was also great about administering MaryAnn’s medications and heartworm pill as instructed. When we picked MaryAnn up she was clearly exhausted from spending lots of time playing out and she definitely seemed extremely happy and comfortable on Deborah’s home.
