We dropped her off and before we left they let us know she was too anxious and would not be able to tolerate the whole weekend there. We tried one other boarding facility and they had a similar set up so I knew she wouldn't be able to stay there either. I found Ashley on rover and messaged her about booking for the weekend last minute. Our dog is very anxious around other dogs which becomes aggression because she gets so worked up. Ashley was able to keep her for the weekend and keep her separated from their other dogs in the home. I was very relieved to know she was safe and taken care and that the other dogs in the home were safe too. When we arrive Harley went right in with them and was happy when we picked her up! About: My late dog Casey (d. May 2026) was dog-reactive, and I found out firsthand how hard it is to find a dogsitter without any personal pets or other clients in the home for dogs like her when I travel. I always had at least one dog and cat in the home growing up, but Casey taught me how to set animals up for success by accepting them as they are and adjusting to their needs-- medical, emotional, and physical. For dog boarding, I would like to use my house and fenced-in yard to give other pets a quiet respite when their owners need to travel-- walks, naps, and play included-- and give owners the peace of mind that their pet is somewhere comfortable and safe when they are away. I sanitize and clean my house thoroughly after each pet's visit and pick up the dog poops from my yard to reduce any illness spread between dogs. For housesitting, I would treat your pet and house as I would want my own to be treated if a sitter stayed-- as it was left if not cleaner. On weekends, your pet will have my full attention. Any errand outside of the house I need to run is less than an hour. I will take cues from your pet and your directions on how to occupy your pet's day. On weekdays, I work a 8-to-4 job with flexibility. I typically wake at 6:30AM, return around noon to check on pets + give attention/walk, and stay home after work. Depending on your pet's needs, we can burn off energy or unwind together before I ensure that your pet is settled in for the night with my bedroom door open for nighttime access. As someone whose late dog who had medical and social needs, I will follow your care instructions for your pet in activities, mealtimes, and other concerns, along with medicine administration if needed. I will not be leaving your pet alone in the yard; your pet will be kept indoor in A/C with access to the living room and kitchen during weekdays. Please plan to bring some of your pet's comfort items (toys and treats) along with their necessities to ensure they have something from home for boarding. For new clients boarding in my home, I would ask that you are present for at least fifteen minutes when dropping off your pet to allow acclimation to the space and association with me as someone positive while you and I review care instructions for your pet. If meeting in the home is not possible for boarding, a time for your pet to meet me in a Meet & Greet is essential ahead of time. I want your pet's initial time with me to be as stress-free as possible.

About: My entire life has been endless pet care experience! I have lived with cats and dogs of all shapes, sizes, temperments, and ages. Currently living with my own two dogs and a cat, I understand the need for a trustworthy care taker for my babies. I care about the wellbeing of animals so much, I plan on going to vet school! There is no animal that is too much for me! I can do drop in vists through out the day as I have a few hours scattered through the day between classes and practice. If you needed longer daily walks, I could take your pet out in the morning and leave them tired for the day! I have some extra space for boarding as I’m lightening my training load for a while My whole day revolves around pet care. My pets. My training clients. My boarding clients. It’s a family affair. Someone is always here! The first and last duty of each day is the dogs. I have a climate controlled kennel building with indoor/outdoor runs for each dog. I take on a maximum of 4 dogs at any given time. We live on six rural acres. Dogs are always supervised during any play. Potty breaks are divided up between yard time and leash walks.

About: I’ve been working with animals since I was a kid! My family owns and runs a farm so my entire life has been about taking care of animals needs and making sure they are healthy! I have always had an affinity for all pets no matter how big or small! My #1 priority is making sure they’re taken care of, safe, and loved when their parents are gone! I am currently a senior at WCU, but I live here near Greenville and will be here for the whole summer, holidays, and most weekends! About: I’ve taken care of dogs, for the past twelve years. My family has always had pets, so I was always getting hands-on experience from the puppy stage up to the senior stage. Currently, I am a college student and I take online classes, so as of right now I have a free schedule. I can do walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, as well as overnight stays. I live with my parents, and they have two dogs that I take care of while they work. We live in the country, so our yard is not fenced in. About: Hi!! I am a rising sophomore at ECU and my family and I just moved to Garner from New York. I am looking for dog care jobs over my summer break so I am available all day every day until I go back to school. I am a morning person and like starting my days quite early so any of you need anything in the morning, I would love to help! I absolutely adore dogs and everything about them! Any time there is one in the room I am drawn to it and it gets my undivided love and attention. Most of my family and friends call me the dog whisperer because all dogs love me too! I have been sitting for a little over two years and have experience with all ages, sizes and breeds. I love being outside and active, and going on walks is one of my favorite things to do. I also don’t mind picking up after the dogs. (Someones gotta do it lol). My family has had 2 dogs of our own but both are no longer with us anymore. They were my built in best friends and most of the time I enjoyed their company over my family’s. I have so much free time on my hands that I can work with as many that I possibly can! I like being up early and don’t mind being out all day. I can keep your gates and doors locked while we are inside. Make sure the dog is always on a leash before opening a door for a walk.

I had a dog of my own (labrador retriever) so I have personal experience on how to treat and manage a dog correctly. About: I have worked with dogs for a little while and have a good understand of how to handle them. Even the most aggressive ones. They just need a little loving. I’ve started a new job and some days I can work remote, completely free on weekends for dog loving! I don’t go places for the holidays all my family is here so I’m open for holidays!! We dropped her off and before we left they let us know she was too anxious and would not be able to tolerate the whole weekend there. We tried one other boarding facility and they had a similar set up so I knew she wouldn't be able to stay there either. I found Ashley on rover and messaged her about booking for the weekend last minute. Our dog is very anxious around other dogs which becomes aggression because she gets so worked up. I am very flexible and a responsible young adult that would love to spend time with your pet regardless:) I’m currently working full time. I am a very aware and responsible person. I am responsive to unsettling situations without hesitation, and I know many things about an animal's body language and habits overall. I work every weekday 6am-2:30pm and I’m off every weekend. I go to church every Sunday but should be gone no more than 4 hours :) I try my best to establish and follow comfortable boundaries with pet parents and pets alike and I carefully follow instructions left to me to the best of my ability :)

About: My late dog Casey (d. May 2026) was dog-reactive, and I found out firsthand how hard it is to find a dogsitter without any personal pets or other clients in the home for dogs like her when I travel. I always had at least one dog and cat in the home growing up, but Casey taught me how to set animals up for success by accepting them as they are and adjusting to their needs-- medical, emotional, and physical. For dog boarding, I would like to use my house and fenced-in yard to give other pets a quiet respite when their owners need to travel-- walks, naps, and play included-- and give owners the peace of mind that their pet is somewhere comfortable and safe when they are away. I sanitize and clean my house thoroughly after each pet's visit and pick up the dog poops from my yard to reduce any illness spread between dogs. For housesitting, I would treat your pet and house as I would want my own to be treated if a sitter stayed-- as it was left if not cleaner. On weekends, your pet will have my full attention. Any errand outside of the house I need to run is less than an hour. I will take cues from your pet and your directions on how to occupy your pet's day. On weekdays, I work a 8-to-4 job with flexibility. I typically wake at 6:30AM, return around noon to check on pets + give attention/walk, and stay home after work. Depending on your pet's needs, we can burn off energy or unwind together before I ensure that your pet is settled in for the night with my bedroom door open for nighttime access. As someone whose late dog who had medical and social needs, I will follow your care instructions for your pet in activities, mealtimes, and other concerns, along with medicine administration if needed. I will not be leaving your pet alone in the yard; your pet will be kept indoor in A/C with access to the living room and kitchen during weekdays. Please plan to bring some of your pet's comfort items (toys and treats) along with their necessities to ensure they have something from home for boarding. For new clients boarding in my home, I would ask that you are present for at least fifteen minutes when dropping off your pet to allow acclimation to the space and association with me as someone positive while you and I review care instructions for your pet. If meeting in the home is not possible for boarding, a time for your pet to meet me in a Meet & Greet is essential ahead of time. I want your pet's initial time with me to be as stress-free as possible.
