“Mafe was very easy to work with, responsive, and caring. Our Kitty was very happy with her and her family, and she sent us pictures of him daily. We would happily use her services again.”

“Ms. Juli did a wonderful job taking care of my 4-month old toy poodle. I was out-of-town for a week and Ms. Juli is super consistent in giving me daily updates and photos. And my Poodie loves her so much! It’s my first time to leave my puppy so I was really worried, but Ms. Juli was able to give me reassurance everyday. Will definitely board my toy poodle again next time. ?”

“Rob was great with our girls. This was an acclimation visit to familiarize. This family is very understanding of special needs & requests. Our pups were well taken care of. We believe we have found our care team.”

“Ashley and family were great! If I could give her 10 stars I would. We planned a weekend in Rocky Mount and booked boarding for our dog at a local boarding place. We dropped her off and before we left they let us know she was too anxious and would not be able to tolerate the whole weekend there. We tried one other boarding facility and they had a similar set up so I knew she wouldn't be able to stay there either. I found Ashley on rover and messaged her about booking for the weekend last minute. Our dog is very anxious around other dogs which becomes aggression because she gets so worked up. Ashley was able to keep her for the weekend and keep her separated from their other dogs in the home. I was very relieved to know she was safe and taken care and that the other dogs in the home were safe too. When we arrive Harley went right in with them and was happy when we picked her up! They were very understanding and accommodated us so we did not have to cancel our trip last minute. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I will definitely be booking with Ashley any time we are in the area.”

“Madison took such great care of Indy. They went to the park and took several rides in the car!! Madison sent plenty of pictures and updates throughout the week. Indy had such a fun time with Madison and her pup Benji!!”

“I couldn’t have found a better person to take care of my dogs. Monica took such great care of them, showered them with affection, and kept me updated throughout the week. So glad to have found such a great person to take care of my little ones.”

“Brian was awesome. He sent us pictures of the girls and kept us updated on everything. His daughter is the sweetest, and she was also a big help with our girls. We'll use Brian every time we need to go out of town and can't carry them with us. We loved that they didn't have to be in a kennel. He had plenty of toys and they were able to have him around the whole time because he works from home. Can't say enough good things.”
“We will definitely book with Melissa again! She was great! She accommodated a same day booking for me due to another sitter canceling. She gave me updates throughout my pups stay! I will always recommend Melissa!”

“Reading Randi's bio alone was enough for me to feel comfortable reaching out and booking her for my Luna. Her communication and attention to detail exceeded my expectations. I always had frequent updates and photos. I will 100% be boarding my Luna with her in the future. My Luna also rated her 5 paws 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾.”

“My dog (Ruxin) really enjoyed his stay with Ashley and her furbabies. She sent pictures, updates, and took care of anything Ruxin needed while I was gone for the holidays. She even ran out to get him food when he unexpectedly ran out. He was exhausted when I got him back and misses his new friends!”

“Ms. Karin was absolutely amazing with my new puppy!!!! She went above and beyond with my little one!!!!! Clean home, big backyard, amazing communication. "Noodle was very well taken care of!!!!! Don't choose anyone else if she's available!!!!”

About: I have taken care of animals big and small, disability’s and special needs included, for many years. I am very flexible and a responsible young adult that would love to spend time with your pet regardless:) I’m currently working full time. I am a very aware and responsible person. I am responsive to unsettling situations without hesitation, and I know many things about an animal's body language and habits overall. I work every weekday 6am-2:30pm and I’m off every weekend. I go to church every Sunday but should be gone no more than 4 hours :) I try my best to establish and follow comfortable boundaries with pet parents and pets alike and I carefully follow instructions left to me to the best of my ability :)
“Shelby is awesome! I was worried about leaving my little guy for the first time. But I felt very at ease with how well Shelby kept updating me and sending me photos throughout his stay. He even got to go to the beach for the first time! He was very well taken care of and I could tell when I picked him up how relaxed he was. Will definitely be choosing her again!”
About: My late dog Casey (d. May 2026) was dog-reactive, and I found out firsthand how hard it is to find a dogsitter without any personal pets or other clients in the home for dogs like her when I travel. I always had at least one dog and cat in the home growing up, but Casey taught me how to set animals up for success by accepting them as they are and adjusting to their needs-- medical, emotional, and physical. For dog boarding, I would like to use my house and fenced-in yard to give other pets a quiet respite when their owners need to travel-- walks, naps, and play included-- and give owners the peace of mind that their pet is somewhere comfortable and safe when they are away. I sanitize and clean my house thoroughly after each pet's visit and pick up the dog poops from my yard to reduce any illness spread between dogs. For housesitting, I would treat your pet and house as I would want my own to be treated if a sitter stayed-- as it was left if not cleaner. On weekends, your pet will have my full attention. Any errand outside of the house I need to run is less than an hour. I will take cues from your pet and your directions on how to occupy your pet's day. On weekdays, I work a 8-to-4 job with flexibility. I typically wake at 6:30AM, return around noon to check on pets + give attention/walk, and stay home after work. Depending on your pet's needs, we can burn off energy or unwind together before I ensure that your pet is settled in for the night with my bedroom door open for nighttime access. As someone whose late dog who had medical and social needs, I will follow your care instructions for your pet in activities, mealtimes, and other concerns, along with medicine administration if needed. I will not be leaving your pet alone in the yard; your pet will be kept indoor in A/C with access to the living room and kitchen during weekdays. Please plan to bring some of your pet's comfort items (toys and treats) along with their necessities to ensure they have something from home for boarding. For new clients boarding in my home, I would ask that you are present for at least fifteen minutes when dropping off your pet to allow acclimation to the space and association with me as someone positive while you and I review care instructions for your pet. If meeting in the home is not possible for boarding, a time for your pet to meet me in a Meet & Greet is essential ahead of time. I want your pet's initial time with me to be as stress-free as possible.

“Sabrina was the best cat sitter while we were out of town! Appreciated her stopping by before my trip so I could walk her through what I needed, and kept my kittys happy while I was out of town. Will be booking her again!”

“This was my first time using Rover, I am so glad I found Britney! She went above and beyond to make sure my home and 3 cats were well taken care of while I was gone on a trip. I received lots of pictures, videos, and updates, and my cats loved her, even the shy ones were loving on her!”

“Wow!!! Mafe is wonderful. She put me at ease about leaving Freddie with a stranger. This was a last minute booking as my regular sitter was unavailable. I’m so happy Mafe was free. Freddie was skittish at first but within hours he was relaxed and back to being himself. Mafe sent plenty of pictures and videos. I would hire her again. She is highly recommended by Freddie and me.”

About: I am from Colombia and there I had the opportunity to work with him, in a family veterinarian where I learned a lot. Here in the United States I have been taking care of dogs and cats at home several times. It is important, since animals are part of my life and always will be, I also dream of one day having the money to be able to give a good life to several animals that currently live in a shelter. I keep them company, I sing to them, I play with them, I walk them, when they sleep in my house I always make them comfortable and I am aware of all their behavior, especially because I know they miss their owners.
“Madison was extremely helpful with my Maverick. Not only did she accommodate pick up and drop off times, but she was also able to sense Maverick was overwhelmed on the first day, and took the time to get to know him. By the second day, he was much more relaxed with her and Benji, so I know he was in good hands. Would definitely recommend and book again. Thanks, Madison!”

“Excellent doggy day care! Our little dog Royal was so well taken care of and we didn’t need to worry about him being safe or having a great time with Juli! We look forward to our pup playing with her again in the future!”

“Ashley (and her family) are the best! PJ gets excited to see them whenever we drop him off and doesnt turn around to say goodbye to us - such a goid feeling to but have to worry about him. We trust Ashley implicitly! We are so grateful to have her as PJ's sitter when we are in Rocky Mount. PJ loves Ashley and her family! ❤️”

“Rachel has been such a help in taking care of our pup while my partner and I work. She and the kids are very gentle with him. Getting his Rover report card at the end of the day and seeing all the photos of him having fun and how tired he is when he gets home is a blessing. Will book again :)”

“Thank you for agreeing to care for Kodi during my emergency situation. I really appreciate what you did for me very much. Of course he enjoyed as usual and especially meeting a new play pal in daycare.”

“Summer is Amazing! She's Awesome! Very careful and professional! She sent me detailed updates and photos of our pup daily. It was such a relief to know that my puppy baby was in good hands. She certainly treated him like a welcome guest and he was no doubt spoiled and cared for very well. My Royal is typically an anxious and cautious little boy, especially around new people and new animals. But he went to Summer's daycare for a few days and came home to me in the evenings happy and healthy. Knowing he was in good hands allowed me to enjoy my vacation without worrying while he was away from me. That feeling is priceless! Summer is a golden Angel! We can't wait to book a stay with her again!”

About: My entire life has been endless pet care experience! I have lived with cats and dogs of all shapes, sizes, temperments, and ages. Currently living with my own two dogs and a cat, I understand the need for a trustworthy care taker for my babies. I care about the wellbeing of animals so much, I plan on going to vet school! There is no animal that is too much for me! I can do drop in vists through out the day as I have a few hours scattered through the day between classes and practice. If you needed longer daily walks, I could take your pet out in the morning and leave them tired for the day! I could also provide short boarding services to a dog or cat that is friendly with other animals. My own animals have been around various other animals and are well trained so as long as your pet is friendly they would get along great! Every animal is different and require diffreent treatment. I approach all animals and enviorments with understanding and patience, allowing the animal to communicate their needs in any given senario. I can adjust to various enviorments based on the animal's temperment and the owner's preferences!
“Seth and Ashley are wonderful! They have been taking care of my puppy (12 weeks old) while I go to work twice a week. They're attentive and patient, help me reinforce my training, and my pup loves getting to hang out with them. Definitely recommend them!”

About: Hi, I'm dependable, stay-at-home dog lover who provides a safe, fun, and loving environment for you're pup while you're away. I've had dogs my whole life, including two yellow labs who lived long, happy lives (15 and 12 years old.) I currently have a friendly 1-year old yellow lab who love's new friends to play with! I have another red fox lab coming soon- June 2026! Because I'm home full-time, your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day- no long periods alone. We have a large, fully fenced backyard where the dogs can run and play safely. Our days are filled with fun activities like pool time, agility play, fetch, and lots of love and interaction. Your pup will be treated like family in our clean, non-smoking home, with plenty of space to relax and feel comfortable. I'm happy to follow your dog's routine, feeding schedule, and any specific instructions to make sure they feel right at home. If you're looking for a safe, fun, and attentive place for your pup to stay, I'd love to care of them! ❤️ I can only take 3 dogs per day for daycare and for boarding. I can only take dogs that are up to date on vaccines as I am having a new 8 week old puppy joining our family in June 2026. I will ask that you please provide me with a copy of vaccines. Please note; Per my homeowners insurance, I cannot accept the following: Pitbul/ Pitbul mix Rottweiler Doberman German Sheppards Chow Chow I would love for your dog to become of our pack! As much as I love dogs, people are asking if their dogs can sleep in my room and on my bed. For the safety of all dogs that are boarding, I prefer they are in a crate or in a kennel at night. I ask that you bring your own as that is what your dog is used to, it's own safe space. If they are not crate/ kennel trained, I do have a large space to roam with a fence. If the pup is a small bread I do have a play pen for your pups safety.

I am looking for dog care jobs over my summer break so I am available all day every day until I go back to school. I am a morning person and like starting my days quite early so any of you need anything in the morning, I would love to help! I absolutely adore dogs and everything about them! Any time there is one in the room I am drawn to it and it gets my undivided love and attention. Most of my family and friends call me the dog whisperer because all dogs love me too! I have been sitting for a little over two years and have experience with all ages, sizes and breeds. I love being outside and active, and going on walks is one of my favorite things to do. I also don’t mind picking up after the dogs. (Someones gotta do it lol). My family has had 2 dogs of our own but both are no longer with us anymore. They were my built in best friends and most of the time I enjoyed their company over my family’s. I have so much free time on my hands that I can work with as many that I possibly can! I like being up early and don’t mind being out all day. I can keep your gates and doors locked while we are inside. Make sure the dog is always on a leash before opening a door for a walk.
About: I’ve taken care of family dogs, family and friends trust me to care for, walk, feed and love on their fur babies. I had a dog of my own (labrador retriever) so I have personal experience on how to treat and manage a dog correctly. I'm a college student so my availability is pretty open for more time with the doggies. I'd love to send pictures throughout the visit so you can see their sweet faces! I’m currently working a part time job while home from college, I will have a lot of time to care for dogs in between those hours because I have a flexible schedule. I can easily crate your dog if needed, I will be respectful of your home and my own, I wouldn’t do anything to put myself or the dog in any form of danger. I’m very cautious of my surroundings and very careful.
About: I have worked with dogs for a little while and have a good understand of how to handle them. Even the most aggressive ones. They just need a little loving. I’ve started a new job and some days I can work remote, completely free on weekends for dog loving! I don’t go places for the holidays all my family is here so I’m open for holidays!! My dog is crate trained and working on leash training. We have a nice little set up for him and it seems to work pretty good!
“Kiara did a great wonderful job with Sophie! She was very responsive, sent photos, and gave a report of my dog's behavior. She was a joy to work with and we can't wait to book her again!”

About: Living in the OBX, Willing to travel, see new places! I want to help care for your dog in your home because I believe pets are happiest in their home setting. I never boarded my dog, always traveled with him or had a family member stay. I'm excited to meet all your fur family and see some new places. If you live near trails, i particularly enjoy a hiking dog. I will travel for overnight care up to a few hours. I also visit NH regularly. Im working on something personal right now which allows me the flexibility to travel and dog sit. I prefer the beach, mountains, lakes, quiet over cities. I'm a kiteboarder and hiker, so i'm partial to areas I can explore with these activities. I always follow the household schedule and your pets preferences. During my time in your home, I will leave it generally cleaner than I found it. I'm comfortable traveling to dog parks, trails etc with a dog or two in my car.. I'm happy to keep your plants happy, enjoying a green thumb.

“First time getting a sitter for our dog and would definitely do it again! Kassie was flexible and shared plenty of pictures while we were out of town. Her sweet dog Benji gets along well with other pups and for sure helped my dog be more comfortable. Our dog enjoyed her stayed and the trips to the dog park!”
