I grew up around cats and dogs growing up and care deeply for animals. For animals I board I like to do a meet and greet to let your animal get to know an unfamiliar place with you there. About: Growing up I wasn’t able to have pets, so I always volunteered to care for my neighbors pets. It was the best part of my childhood. Now that I have pets of my own, I’ve realized how much goes into it. I’m constantly researching new things to help my pets thrive. I rescued my dog as a puppy from the side of the road when I was 13. I had to learn to potty train her, leash train, etc. Realizing how many things could hurt her, even my everyday foods was enlightening and scary. Learning about cats and dogs is so intriguing and I want to understand each and every animal I take care of on a personal level. I am currently a stay at home mom to a 2 year old and newborn. While my little need a lot of one on one time, they sleep a lot allowing for plenty of time to spend with my fur baby as well as yours! My apartment complex offers a fenced in area for animal play which my pup loves taking advantage of. About once a day we go to said area to play and get all of our energy out, when we’re more on a time crunch we’ll take a lap around the building. We tend to go on walks every 3-4 hours or as Trixie let me know she’s needing to potty!

About: I have been caring for animals my entire life as a child, wildlife rehabilitator and as a wildlife biologist. For the last year and a half I have built a very nice reputation as a dependable and loving pet sitter. I have watched dogs, cats and birds! I have taken care of many senior dogs as well as a few puppies. Needless to say I’m not afraid of a pee pad or pill bottles! I work remotely and choose my hours, meaning, I can be with your animals at all time if need be. I do not mind staying with them 24/7 while you are away. It also means you can contact me any time that you need too. I live on a dead end road with very low traffic and have a very large yard. We will also go for nice walks down to the river where our road ends and a trail leads out to the river. My two main borders often do not want to leave or they want to come back home with me. It’s a great spot for dogs, whether they need to be leashed or not. If I am staying at your house I will always follow their normal routine. I really like for my clients to leave a note with food instructions, treat instructions, medicine, and daily routine. I also like to have a just incase number (neighbor or family member in the area) and the veterinarian. This is all just incase of an emergency and to make sure your pet stays safe and has the best time possible with me.

About: I’ve cared to dogs since I was 12, beginning with family pets and expanding to neighbors and friends. I helped raise a littler of ten black lab puppies, ensuring they received proper nutrition and constant affection. I’ve cared for many breeds in a variety of settings, including watching and managing up to 5 black labs at once, taking them on structured walks, playing with there favorite toys and keeping their routines calm and consistent. My experience cover feeding schedules, baths, crate safety and off leash play. I am currently a student at coastal Carolina community college as a dental assisting student. Mondays and Thursday I get out of class at 11:40 and 12:50. Tuesdays I arrive at school @11 and leave @3:40, Wednesdays 8-2:40 and Fridays 10-2:40. On weekends I’m available and times after school. I have a back yard, not fenced in. Pets in my home are not treated bad, not screamed at or hit to be punished. They are always treated like my own, with cuddles, little snacks if allowed and plenty of play time. They would go on walks and be seen by other individuals for petting if the owner is comfortable.

About: Growing up we always had lots of dogs, cats, and even livestock. For many years we had over 7 dogs to which i cared for at one time. including a recent puppy that we purchased and have since potty-trained and trained to do things like retrieving I currently am enrolled at a local community college so my schedule is pretty open on days except Mondays and Wednesdays which are pretty much free after 3pm. I love to play with dogs and cats. Especially taking them out to get exercise wether that be walking, throwing the ball, or even just playing with toys as I am a very active person myself. About: -Personally, I have been caring for pets for 18 years. Pit mixes, reptiles, and felines. The first words most people would use to describe me would be "animal lover"! -Professionally, I have veterinary and animal handling experience. I worked as a Licensed Veterinary Technician Assistant between college and graduate school, which gave me experience with administering medication, pet safety,checking vital signs, soothing anxious pets, basic grooming, etc. I also spent two years in grad school walking dogs,boarding, and doing check-ins with "Wag!" which I thoroughly enjoyed! Professionally, I am a biologist and have a working knowledge of animal physiology -I have personally mothered and treated a Heartworm Positive dog, so I am well-versed in caring for a pup currently undergoing that! With my current seasonal position coming to an end, I expect to have a wide open schedule for the next few months. I am a pretty early riser, but can be flexible It is priority to make sure that your pet is as comfortable as possible while missing you! I choose to not use a crate with my dog, but can with yours if you prefer that. I'm very active and like to ensure that animals get as much activity and enrichment as they like. I am very big on sending lots of photos and video updates on your pet throughout the day!
