From the first moment we met, I knew that "we had a match" for my dog. All the pictures and updates from Maegan were reassuring and it was clear to see that things were going very well. She clearly loves all dogs and is very attentive and in tune with their moods and actions. Her home and fenced yard were secure, safe, comfortable and very welcoming. My one concern going into this was that Maegan has small children and my dog hasn't been around many. But I expressed my unnecessary concern and learned that her kids are as professional, sensitive and loving of dogs as their parents. Five stars doesn't seem like enough!”

Through talking to her I instantly knew she would be a great fit for my dog. Upon drop off, she welcomed me in so I could see where Norton would be for the day. About: I’ve cared for pets for decades and I have 2 grand dogs and 5 grand cats. I have been blessed to care for many dogs, a half dozen cats, fish, hamsters, 3 baby squirrels and a hedgehog at my home and in others. Familiar with senior pet care, giving meds, raising puppies & kittens and I love to snuggle. I am retired and am available night and day. I miss our senior dog that we rescued as a puppy who passed a few months ago. In need of snuggles! I have pretty large grassy backyard for your dogs activities and a sunroom with full length windows for your pet to watch for birds, squirrels, hummingbirds, ect. I don’t mind having pets on my furniture or in my bed. I will provide the routine that your pet is used too and I am very familiar with senior dog care and puppy care too. We are in a gated community and I will be able to be home most of the time with the exception of a few small errands.

About: I've been around animals my entire life and have been trusted by family, friends, and neighbors to care for their pets. I have 2 dogs of my own that are my world! I have a very flexible job so I can do drop in visits and walks pretty much any time or day. I know how important it is for our pets to have company and exercise and I do not rush through visits. The most important thing to me is keeping animals safe. I am vigilant about other animals on walks and I am always mindful about doors/gates being closed.

I use to house sit with 3 dogs and 3 cats when I was younger and also have 4 dogs myself so I am experienced with taking care of animals, I would love to start to build my clients so I can do this more! I have experience with large dogs and small dogs, as well as cats and small animals like hamsters. When your pet stays at our house they are allowed in bed and on our furniture. The only thing I ask is that your pet is kid, dog, and cat friendly :) If you would like to bring your animal to my house I would be more than happy to watch them here, but if you would rather me come to your house that is fine too! I do offer drop in visits at your house but am unable to stay there while you are away. When your pet is at our house they will be loved and spoiled like one of our own pets :) *Updated 11/01/2024- I am a stay at home mom of 5 kids and a full time pet sitter. I will send pictures of your pet while you are away but I do only send pictures every other day unless it is a one night stay or Doggy daycare. (you'll get pictures that day!) My one concern going into this was that Maegan has small children and my dog hasn't been around many.
