He was exhausted when he got home from playing and running so much. I cannot thank and recommend Lutisa enough!”

About: My lifetime dedication to animal behavior began at a young age, training everything from my childhood cats and birds to neighborhood dogs. By the time I was 12, I was already handling pet-sitting duties for family friends, which sparked an obsession with AKC dog shows and canine development. As a teenager, I successfully fostered three high-need rescue dogs, rehabilitating them and placing them into forever homes. When I finally received my first dog, Omega—a brilliant Standard Poodle who lived to be 14—I trained him from scratch in everything from advanced stays to agility pole jumping. To back this natural passion with formal education, I completed three years at Virginia Tech, majoring in Animal & Poultry Science (Companion Animal Track). Through my intensive collegiate lab work, I gained hands-on experience with multiple species and mastered advanced animal husbandry, livestock handling, anatomy, and medical administration protocols (including multiple injection methods). This rigorous science background transitions directly into my capability as a handler. My daily life revolves around the development of working lines and guardian breeds. I specialize in basic and advanced obedience, loose-leash positioning, and structured boundaries. I am actively developing my very first personal sport prospect, hand-feeding for precision obedience. I recently whelped and successfully raised a healthy, large working cross litter of 10 puppies, and I am now offering my training services through my rover profile. What to Expect During Their Stay: Whether your dog is a high-energy athlete needing structured mental outlets, a powerful guardian breed requiring a confident leader, or a companion needing precise medical administration, they will receive elite, customized care. Because I work from home full-time, your dog will be integrated into a clean, highly supervised routine that respects their existing household rules. I offer premium House Sitting, Drop-In Visits, and structured Day Care. Space is intentionally kept small to ensure safety, calm boundaries, and individualized attention. Leaving your companion is never easy—trust me, I practice the same care I expect for my own animals. With me, you can have total peace of mind that your dog is in the hands of a dedicated, professional handler. Contact me today to secure your route or schedule a meet-and-greet! I work from home full-time, allowing me to provide consistent, round-the-clock supervision for your companion. My remote work schedule operates on a split-shift structure: Mon, Tue, & alternating Fri/Sat: 11:00 AM – 2:00 AM & 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM Wed & Thu: 11:00 AM – 2:00 AM & 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM Sundays: Completely off and dedicated 100% to canine care. Because I work directly from my home office, your dog will enjoy a highly supervised, safe environment with a dedicated handler present at all times. My shift gaps are dedicated entirely to outdoor potty breaks, enrichment, and hands-on interaction. My ultimate professional milestone is transitioning to full-time canine management under my OZN Olympian K9 brand, meaning your pet receives the highest level of focused, attentive care I operate on a spacious one-acre property featuring a massive yard bordered by clean stone landmarks. Safety is my absolute priority, which is why all yard time is strictly supervised by me personally. Dogs with verified, bulletproof off-leash recall are permitted to utilize the full property line. For companions still developing their foundations, I utilize a professional 30-foot training long-line, allowing them total freedom to run and explore safely without any risk of escape. Inside my home, I offer a highly versatile, stress-free environment tailored to your dog's specific social needs. I can accommodate social dogs who thrive around other animals, as well as dogs requiring complete separation. If your companion prefers individual space, my personal dogs can be securely rotated to my upper level, and my current puppy prospects are trained to settle quietly in their crates. This leaves my entire downstairs area or my private home office completely open for your dog to relax in. I have multiple heavy-duty, large crates on hand to assist dogs who need a secure, cozy boundary to settle in a new environment. When providing care inside your home for house-sitting or drop-in visits, I maintain that exact same elite standard of structure and safety. I treat your property with the utmost respect, keeping your home clean, secure, and exactly how you left it. While under my care on your property, your dog will follow a precise, customized routine—maintaining their existing house rules, feeding schedules, and crate habits—so they feel completely secure in their own familiar environment. Every dog under my roof receives a deeply enriching routine where I reinforce good canine manners daily, backed by regular text, photo, and video updates!

“I was hesitant leaving my pup with a stranger but Morgan had amazing reviews and communicated well while I was on a business trip. Put my heart at ease. Will definitely reach out to her again!”

“Had my dog there for one night and he seemed to enjoy that fenced back yard and his overall time with her! She was easy to communicate with and sent lots of pictures. Would use again.”

About: While my daily professional life as the founder of OZN Olympian K9 revolves around active dog handling, my roots belong entirely to the feline world. I grew up in a multi-cat household, starting with my very first childhood cat, Laces, whom I successfully trained to do tricks. My passion for rescue work truly began with Rico, my beloved SPCA rescue, and later Romeo, who lived alongside my Standard Poodle throughout my college years. Because I currently manage active working dogs in my home, I strictly offer Drop-In Visits inside your cat's own familiar environment. True cat owners know that felines are happiest and least stressed when they remain in their own territory. Keeping them at home prevents the intense anxiety of strange boarding facilities, and it ensures total safety far away from canine energy. What Sets My Feline Care Apart: Advanced Medical Capability: Backed by three completed years of study in Animal & Poultry Science at Virginia Tech, I possess high-level, hands-on university experience. I am fully qualified to administer oral pills, supplements, or specialized medications safely, accurately, and calmly. A Relaxing Break from the Routine: I love the independent, cool nature of cats. Coming to visit your feline companion is my favorite way to step back from the high-energy dog world and simply focus on providing a patient, peaceful, and enriching experience for your pet. Complete Household Maintenance: During every 30-minute drop-in, I ensure fresh water rotation, precise feeding schedules, thorough litter box scooping, and tailored socialization—whether your cat wants active toy engagement or just quiet, respectful company. Leaving your cats can be incredibly stressful, but with my academic background and lifetime of personal feline ownership, you can rest assured they are in highly capable, loving hands. “Emma was great with my diabetic cat! She communicated well, and voiced her questions/concerns rather than assuming. My cat also loved her, will definitely be asking her to take care of him again.”

About: I have fostered a lot of cats. They have a soft spot in my heart. I think I’m personally good at reading a cat’s body language because their personalities can definitely range from the crazy orange tabby to the judgey calico or the lazy Persian 😂. I’ve never trained a cat but am a reliable litter box cleaner.
“Christoper was just who we were looking for! We needed someone we could rely on to watch our cats while we were out of town. He provided daily updates and everything went great. His communication was top notch. We will definitely be booking with him again for future trips!”

“Shannon did a great job with my Husky. She knows how to handle big dogs, is very communicative, and cares about doing a good job. I'll definitely ask for her again the next time I head out of town and can't take my dog with me. Highly recommend!”

“Valerie took care of my 3 cats while I was out of town. When I initially met her, she was great!! I knew that they’d be well taken care of. She was very informative and professional. And she also sent pictures. I would definitely recommend Valerie to anyone to take care of their fur babies!!! Awesome experience!!!😊😊😊”

About: My full time job allows for flexibility during the work day and allows me to work anywhere with wifi. I can often be in the home caring for your animals or taking them out more often than a traditional sitter who works a 9-5. I dog sit for many members of my family and have had dogs since I was 2 years old. I have a lot of experience giving medication and working with elderly animals. If I am available, I would love to set up a meet and greet to see if I would be a good fit! I work a flexible 9-5 and can drop in to walk or spend additional time caring for your animal(s) because of the flexibility! I wake up early as well! I treat each home like I am a true guest there and treat it and the animals if they were my own. I am very respectful of the rules and furniture.

“I cannot put into words how amazing this young lady was with Piper and Momma Cat. She went above and beyond with my babies. I highly recommend using her for your furbabies. And I know I'll be using her again.”

“This was my first experience with Rover.com for daycare for my dog, Rudy and it went great. He seemed to do well with Rebecca even with it being a new environment. Rebecca interacted with him very well at the greeting to get his comfort in going with her.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats well over 40 years. This includes small and large animals of many breeds including young animals and also seniors with temperaments as well. I'm a dedicated animal lover with hands on experience caring for dogs and cats and other animals as well. I currently work from home so I will have plenty of time to care for your pet and allow potty breaks as needed as well. I have a fenced back yard and two friendly animals (cat and dog) to keep your fur baby happy and comfortable while being cared for. I will also provide companionship, cleaning litter boxes and pet areas, and ensuring pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I understand that every pet has unique needs and personalities and my goal is to treat every pet s if they were my own, giving their owners peace while away and knowing they will be in good hands.
About: Hi! I’m Amanda, and dogs are a big part of everyday life in our home. I have several dogs of my own, so I’m very familiar with different personalities, energy levels, routines, and the importance of making sure each dog receives the individual attention they need. I keep my boarding numbers limited because I want every dog staying with me to feel comfortable and cared for—not like they’re just one of many. My partner works from home, so someone is usually here throughout the day, and dogs are rarely left alone for long periods. We also have a fully fenced yard where dogs can enjoy supervised potty breaks, playtime, sniffing, and time outside throughout the day. I also have a wooded area behind my house for hiking adventures! A typical stay may include walks, outdoor time, enrichment, play, rest breaks, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I’m happy to adjust the routine based on your dog’s normal schedule, personality, energy level, and comfort. Safety is always a priority in our home. I take introductions slowly, closely supervise interactions, and can keep boarding dogs separate from my personal dogs when needed. I understand that not every dog is immediately comfortable in a new place, so they’ll be given the time and space they need to settle in. I also have experience with dog training and enjoy providing dogs with structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement during their stay. Feel free to message me about your dog’s training needs and the individualized options that may be available! I know leaving your dog with someone new can be stressful. My goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your dog receives thoughtful, personalized care and is treated like one of our own.
“Valkyrie has a wonderful time with Mary and comes home acting like her normal self. I’m so glad to have found Mary. She sends photos and updates throughout the day and my mama heart knows my baby is taken care of. 🥰🐶”

“Melany took great care of Maggie, I got multiple picture updates and Melany has been very responsive and flexible for pick up and drop off time. Will have Maggie stay with her again next time I’m in the area.”

About: As a retired teacher, creating a safe, calm, and nurturing environment is second nature to me—and that extends to every pet in my care. My home sits on a beautiful lake with large grassy areas, giving your dog plenty of space to explore, play, and relax on leash or off. I have both a female Boykin Spaniel dog and a female Snow Hylander cat of my own, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your fur babies. Whether your pet loves outdoor time, quiet companionship, or a consistent routine, I strive to make them feel right at home. Your baby needs to be cat and dog friendly. I will administer prescribed medications as needed. My goal is simple: to give you complete peace of mind while you’re away, knowing your pet is safe, loved, and well cared for in a comfortable, stress-free environment. I am a retired teacher and am home to love and care for your pet while you enjoy your time away. My schedule is flexible to meet your pet's needs. I live on the lake and have a large grassy area for your baby to play and explore with my dog on or off the leash. Inside the home, space will be also be shared with my cat. So, your baby will need to be cat friendly as well. We have a relaxed environment, but I am willing to adjust to your dog's routine as needed.
“Rachelle and Christopher are so great with my girls. I can tell how much they love my dogs by how excited my dogs get when we arrive each week. Thank you for loving them like family!”

“Chelsey is amazing and was an absolute lifesaver! I unexpectedly had to work remotely out of town and needed last minute help with my dog. I messaged her early that morning on a whim, and she responded immediately. She even came to pick my dog up so I could clock in at a decent time, which meant so much. She kept my dog all day, took her on two walks, gave her play time, plenty of potty breaks, and sent me pictures and updates throughout the day. When I picked her up, my dog was SO happy and playing with the other dogs which is huge because she’s not always the best with other dogs. It was clear she felt comfortable, happy and well cared for. I highly recommend Chelsey for all your fur babies’ needs and will absolutely be using her services again in the future whenever possible!”

I handle school drop-offs, dance, grocery runs, and outings, but I'm usually back home quickly. I provide loving, attentive care in a calm and safe environment. I respect your home and privacy completely. About: I love dogs and have enjoyed working with them in many capacities since I was a child and formally for over 15 years. I am a Canine Good Citizen evaluator and have spent years training loving companions. I am certified in Canine CPR and First Aid by the American Red Cross and undergo annual recertifications to stay current on the latest first-aid procedures. I also have experience administering both oral medications and injections. Before your pups stay, we have each family fill out a form for their furry companion. This helps us get to know them better in order to make their stay easier. I have no breed preference and are familiar with handling working canines. Your pup is welcome in our home, and our couch is open to your furry pooch. However, I also understand there are dogs who prefer to be outside and are not easily accommodated indoors. I also have covered outdoor runs for those families who still need a vacation but whose pups enjoy more fresh air and natural surroundings. I am happy to accommodate each family's preference. No matter what, canines are treated to lots of exercise and playtime. I wake up and start the day off with morning let out. After each group has been let we come back in for feeding. Morning feedings normally allow for 30-45 minutes before letting out again for a potty break. They are brought back in, crated, and pups are rotated out for play inside throughout the day. I let out every 2-4 hours through the day or more if needed. I do have the option to add on trail walks for those who have social canines who are good with other dogs and people (I will not be introducing them to others but it is a requirement to the trail). In the evening we normally do the last feeding at 7 pm followed by yard play and starting to settle in. Last potty break is at 10 pm. Note: Although I am at home full time I do on occasion leave our home to run errands. Your dog can be left alone for up to 4 hours (max). If this is ever the case your pup will always be crated and secure. For your pup's safety They are never given free rein while unsupervised. I take the safety of your furry companion very seriously. Canines are let out for potty breaks every 2-4 hours (or as needed, if required more frequently). I have a fenced-in yard so your pup will be safe during potty breaks. I do not allow companions from other families to play with each other. This is a safety measure. Your pup can be under a lot of stress when you're gone and I want to make their stay as smooth and relaxing as possible. This doesn't mean I will not be playing with your pup ourselves! I love playing fetch, puzzle games, and even tug with them. I do allow for several outings in the house throughout the day so they can get plenty of one-on-one attention inside as well as extra pets. I have 5 acres that are attached to the national preserve. If your furry companion is social and enjoys walks, I have several trails I am happy to take them on upon request (weather permitting). All outings are on leash only.

If needed to put away they can be.

About: I’ve cared for animals of all kinds for about 5 years now. From dogs and cats (of all ages!) to horses, birds, and a tarantula! I have a lot of experience with senior animals and pets with special needs as well :). I work part time Monday through Friday but I am always off work by 3pm at the latest (often earlier). But outside of work I have no other responsibilities that cannot be adjusted to fit around your pets schedule! I have experience with all sorts of homes, ex: cities, busy neighborhoods, homes in the country. And all sorts of pets! I am happy to work anywhere and very adaptable.
About: Ive had pets since i was 7 years old. From dogs to hermit crabs ive been taking care of them for years. My neighbors rely on me when they go out of town and they need their pets taken care of. Rest assured I'll take care of yours too! I have two pets myself. I have a strict routine that helps my dogs thrive and i will keep your pets same routine as well. I have a huge yard and two pets. One of my dogs is calm while the other is not so to be on the safe side id rather pet sit in your home instead of mine.
About: I have a dog of my own that I love to take walks with. I also love going out and running around with him or throwing the frisbee to him. I have dog-sat for my friend in the past and it went very well. Pet care fits perfectly into my schedule. I am someone who loves to be outside and around animals. This is something that will feel natural and mesh well with my life. I will not be able to care for the dogs at my own home due to my childhood dog living there and jealousy/protectiveness being one of his main traits. Although the clients home would be perfect for me. I like to keep dogs on their everyday routine. For example, letting them out typically whenever they usually go outside. Feeding them around the same time the owners do. I am younger so I love to run around with the dogs. I will play with all of their toys with them. I can also chill out, lay down, and pet the dog!

About: I have had pets all my life and currently have 3 cats. I’ve volunteered at a dog park during high school, as well as fostering dogs. I care for my own pets by scooping their litter boxes, trimming their claws, and feeding them morning, mid-day, and night. Giving them overall care and attention. I treat all animals I come across with an abominable amount of love and respect, I will always try my best to make sure any animal is taken care of and appreciated.
About: I have always had dogs growing up and got my own when i moved out. I have a 3yr old dog that’s fully trained by myself! I have plenty of free time and flexibility and can’t wait to spend it with your pet! I don’t have very many schedule restrictions and am home a majority of the time. I abide by any rules and schedules you may have for your home or pet! I worry when I leave my own dog, and want to make your time away from your furry friend as comfortable as possible!
About: I have been an avid animal lover my whole life and that passion has lead me to multiple careers relating to animal care. I've worked in retail, I've worked in shelters and rescues, and I've even done training and behavior modification. I just love to see that animals get the love and attention they deserve! If you ever wondered who animal professionals hire when they need a pet sitter: it's me! I don't mind working with fearful pets, taking joy in letting them build up trust first. I have a knack for getting animals to come out of their shell and I don't take it personally if they need a little extra time to warm up. I'm comfortable with administering medication, grooming and bathing needs, and I don't shy away from a pet that needs a little extra TLC. With enough lead time, I can make myself available for nearly any kind of care your pet needs. I am flexible with time and dates! Cats and dogs can thrive on routine, so I will do my best to stick to your care schedule! Show me how your pet likes to have things done! Of course, there will always be tons of cuddles and pets no matter what!
About: I have been a pet sitter for 6 years. I own my own house/dog walking business. I chose to expand my services over to Rover! When I am home i allow them to roam but when Im away I do not cage them unless the owner recommends it! If you prefer for me to come to your home, I abide by the instructions you leave for me.

“Had my dog there for one night and he seemed to enjoy that fenced back yard and his overall time with her! She was easy to communicate with and sent lots of pictures. Would use again.”

“Carrie is a wonderful dog sitter, she was happy to schedule a meet and great to make sure our dogs were compatible with hers and she was very accommodating with our anxious rescues needs. She sends updates and plenty of photos while they are there. Highly recommend Carrie and we will definitely use her in the future if we need someone to watch our boys!”

“This is the first time using Rover, or anyone we don’t personally know. Holly was amazing in all aspects! Welcoming, helpful, accommodating, caring, detail oriented, and understanding. The many pictures and updates she sent were reassuring of the obvious quality of care she and her family were providing.”

“Stephanie and Matthew were incredible with my dog, Jet! They were extremely reliable, sent me sweet updates, and Jed was calm and happy when I got back. I’d trust them with Jet anytime and highly recommend them to anyone looking for loving dog care!”

“Apollo loves Bri! We are so glad we found her on Rover. She sent a lot of pictures during his overnight stay and he always looked super happy. After this stay, we have continued to take Apollo to Bri's in-home dog day care. She does some training with him and he comes home exhausted from all the play time throughout the day. Thanks, Bri!”

“Emma was responsive and sent daily updates and photos of Roni when we were on vacation. Her dogs are very friendly and played really well with Roni when we met and I'm sure they had a blast while he was there. He wasn't as excited to see me as I expected so he must have had a great time and didn't want to leave lol. Would certainly recommend and will be using her in the future.”
