About: I’ve been a vet tech for about 6 years. Before that, I managed a pet boarding facility. I grew up on a farm, so I’ve been caring for dogs and cats all my life. I’m a toddler mom, and I currently work as an emergency vet tech so I’m great at keeping calm in stressful situations. I’m a stay-at-home mom during the week, and then I work on Saturdays, so I’m pretty flexible with my schedule! I will have to bring my 3-yr-old with me to any visits on a weekday if it’s before 4 pm, but he is very gentle and knows to go slow around animals. About: I have been caring for other families animals since I was 10! I have always had a passion for all animals. We have had dogs in the home and outside since I was 5! I am also a huge advocate of rescues and experienced with all breeds! I work from home and I have a pretty flexible schedule. This allows for me to pet sit animals as on the side as a hobby and for extra income. I will handle your animals as if they were my own! Whatever your typical routine is, I will strive to do as well. About: I live on a 14-acre property with vinyl horse fencing that has been reinforced with fence wire to contain dogs securely. We have two fully fenced fields, each about 70 yards x 50 yards. One field has agility equipment. Boarders and day care dogs will be able to interact with the agility equipment, if time allows and dog is comfortable. The other field is used mainly for disc dog practice and competitions, but is also great for general play. We have a stream running along the back of our property. We have 2 dog runs outside for outdoor relaxation when we are not doing activities. I have dog training certifications with Karen Pryor Academy and Animal Behavior College. I prefer to interact with dogs using positive reinforcement, treats and praise. I have been involved with dog sport training since 2008. We currently have 7 small dogs, all actively involved in dog sports, including flyball, disc, agility, barn hunt and tricks. Our females are intact and 2 males are intact.
About: My name is Kathy and I have cared for pets my entire life. As a child I walked the neighborhood pets until I had my own. Every opportunity I had I was around animals. As an adult I have managed boarding kennels, worked at a veterinary hospital, and have my own pet sitting company, In Your Absence. I am a recent graduate with a master of science in animal science. About: I’ve been dog sitting on and off for a while now. I’ve used other dog sitting apps in the past and I’ve recently moved into a larger house to have plenty of room for your fur baby to have room to run and play. I will provide walks and play time everyday, and if you need baths or anything extra I will. I’m home 90% of the time so your fur baby will never really be alone.
