I have had dogs my entire life. I have taken in numerous dogs from puppies to older dogs. We also rescued kittens and cared for them from birth to old age. I have experience caring for puppies and kittens and elderly pets with complex health issues. I just love animals and I've passed on that love for animals to my children. About: I started taking care of the family dog a few years ago. With him, I administered medication in a positive way and helped train him. I am comfortable using a harness and a regular collar. I also helped train my senior dog on his reactivity with positive reinforcement. Currently, I am on summer break. I work as a teacher during the school year, so my availability for the next few months is open. At my apartment, my roommate’s dog I take out every 2-3 hours and I give him lots of cuddles. About: I am a second year veterinary student who has worked as a small animal veterinary assistant for about 3 years. I have experience in caring for senior pets and younger puppies/kittens as well. I grew up with dogs and cats, and now have a three-legged cat of my own. I am very reliable, thorough, and will care for your pets as my own. I’m currently home for the summer after my first year of vet school, so I have plenty of time to help you care for your fur babies! My current part-time work/volunteer schedule will allow me to have a flexible schedule to meet you and your pets’ needs. I have one dog and four cats at home who all get along very well and their comfort is the top priority. I will ensure your pets safety and comfort needs are met based on your instructions given. I am able to crate your animals, leash walk only if needed, and keep a close eye on them when going outside. If your animals need to be kept separate at any point such as meal time, I will be able to accommodate for that as well.

I have a 4 year old Newfoundland-Bernese Mountain Dog mix named Phoebe who I love more than anything, and she is very friendly with other animals and other people. She would love more company! I know I want the best care possible for her when I am not able to do so. I want to be there for your pets when they deserve genuine care in the absence of you. Most importantly, I want YOU to be comfortable with who you choose to leave caring for your pets, because they are truly a part of your family. I have taught Phoebe tricks, I run with her, I brush and bathe her daily, feed and water her daily, and walk her every day for about an hour by the trail next to my house. I take great caution to assure the animals under my care are happy and healthy. I am very sociable, outgoing, and organized. My availability is very flexible throughout the day :) I won’t be away for longer than 4-6 hours at a time if I need to go to school in person for certain things, run errands, or study :) I will follow your lead in how you would like me to care for your dog and understand their schedule as best I can so they can still feel like they are in a routine! We will walk, play, and spend time together all day long.
About: I've lived with dogs my entire life. As an adult, I have had 4 dogs and I have fostered 2 dogs from the Humane Society. Currently, we have Luna - a 5 year-old Labradoodle, Poppy - a 7-year-old mini Goldendoodle and Cooper a beagle puppy. In our home dogs are family members and our two childen will love to spoil an cuddle your pups! Dogs are fed and let out in the morning before everyone leaves for school and work. Either myself or my husband is home around 4 pm to let the dogs out. They are fed dinner at 5 pm and usually spend the evening playing together with my children. Our yard is large and fenced in so the dogs love to run around and chase squirrels and bark at the deer. In our home, we will make sure your pup is fed and gets plenty of exercise. Dogs will have access to our couch and a dog bed. They can sleep in the bed or a crate depending on your preference. They will receive plenty of socialization as they will be living with our 2 dogs.

Jazmine also got to meet Meribel’s basset hound, Molly, who was such a calming and gentle influence. Meribel was flexible with my schedule and took the time to learn everything she could about Jazmine, who has special needs due to epilepsy from prior abuse. Making sure Jazmine feels safe and comfortable is incredibly important to me, and both Meribel and Molly did an amazing job. We booked a short overnight stay as a test run, and it went beautifully. I’ve already booked a full week with Meribel, and I feel completely at ease knowing how well Jazmine was cared for and how relaxed she was in Meribel’s home. Highly recommend.”
