About: As a military spouse I have helped care for our dogs and many of our neighbors dogs as well. From large to small, I love dogs of all kinds. I enjoy walking and playing with dogs, and our own dog loves the company of other dogs. I am a mom and am in nursing school, but pet care is the highlight of my day. My kitties are my shadows, I never use the restroom alone. They have taught me so much and I love the unique personality that I find in each one of them. I know how important it is to respect their space (especially if they're more standoffish) and ensure they have all their resources, especially when their humans are away! Currently working my own flexible schedule so I can make any time work that your fur baby needs. Some pets are used to early mornings and some are used to late evenings. Whatever works for yours! My kitties eat raw, so I make their food daily and give them specific supplements and treats depending on their behavior and the litterbox situation. I'm in tune with my kitty's behaviors and meows knowing what they're requesting in that moment. When caring for other people's pets, I'm mindful of where we use the bathroom (if possible) and clean up appropriately. No details are too many, I'm very supportive of specific needs and how your fur baby may be familiar with their care.

About: Have had pets my entire life, bred multiple reptiles in the past, have had several dogs over the years, exotics, still have a 23 year old african grey who is my middle child who won't leave the nest, spent a decade volunteering at a no-kill shelter, multiple animal rescues, have worked in multiple veterinary offices, been vegetarian since 1997, worked as a vegan chef in several restaurants, and still love to cook for potlucks, friends and fun! I'm currently just working a few days a week in a restaurant, no other commitments. Plus it's the longest I've ever been without companion animal of my own, so I have extra time and love to give at the moment. Will follow the owners instructions to the tee, and more often than not spend additional time when possible. I'm currently without pets of my own which is rare for me, so I have an ample amount of attention and care to spare!
About: I have over 45 yrs of experience in pet care. I was a dog trainer (now partially retired), owned my own pet sitting business for many years, fostered/adopted many rescues and I currently volunteer at and support several rescues. Animals are my heart and soul and I will treat your pets as if they were my own. About: Rescuing dogs — especially puppies — is the most rewarding feeling in life. The most important thing with our furry friends is consistency. If you're stricter with your dog, you need a sitter who'll uphold those rules, not let them slide. I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for years, and I've learned that it's not about what I want — it's about honoring what the owner has built with their pet. I work with the public in my day job, so patience is second nature to me. Pets are no different. They need someone who can read their energy, stay calm, and meet them where they're at. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. I match their pace, not mine. I don't know if anything really sets me apart from other sitters. I just genuinely want to be there for the furry family member. My availability in inconsistent due to Firefighting but I will always respond as soon as I'm able too. I understand due to my schedule I won't the best sitter for if you need someone daily, but if you need someone to drop-in, walk your dog, or just need a night out, feel free to leave a message. Currently working for a fire department, schedule can be inconsistent. Great for drop in play times and walks. Days off from fire department can be great for unexpected care. I’ve worked with many pet owners who are apprehensive to leave their pets with anyone due to the pet’s nervous temperaments, and other various quirks, and every single time the animals have surprised their owners by completely settling in with me. I’ve looked after animals of all breeds, ages, & temperaments- from anxious & fussy older pets to energetic young puppies. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life! I’ve done everything from fostering to raising litters of puppies and kittens. I’m an active person so there is no shortage of playtime. I’m very dedicated to providing the love and support pets need! Caring for pets is always a priority of mine as I currently own a dog and cat myself. I work part time so my schedule is very flexible. I have a spare bedroom in my house with a large mattress for pets to rest on. There is space for a crate if needed. My backyard is very spacious. My area is fairly quiet as I live outside the city. I also have a very friendly dog and cat so your pets can have new friends (can be separated if needed).
