I have had the experience of raising kittens from kittenhood until their golden years. Besides my own pets, I have rescued and taken care of multiple stray cats as well. Most notably would be two years ago when I rescued two kittens from my local park. I spent countless hours with them before catching them and getting them to the vet for all of their shots and fixing. Afterwards, they lived at my home where I would spend hours sitting with them, trying to get two feral boys to be friendly so they could be rehomed. Currently, they are living with a loving home that provides frequent updates and they even sleep in the bed with her! I’m free for over-night house-siting in Chapel Hill on weekdays and weekends. I have my own small young pup who is a sweetheart and comes along with me. When house-siting on Tue, Wed, Thu, I would be home with your pet from 6PM to 8AM. I charge a lower fee those days. Monday and Friday, I can come provide a potty break at noon. On the weekends, I can be home 70-100% of the day, depending on your needs. I think exercise and stimulation are very important! I personally love going on long walks and driving to the park. About: As a young girl I've always had a fondness for animals. I would beg to have a dog until I finally got one. Pepper. Then later Betsy. I've had guinea pigs and rabbits. A rat and mice. Hamsters and chinchillas. I loved them all. I have been around farm animals quite a bit. I'm in love with horses and could even provide care for farm animals. In high school I started working at the vet clinic that at the time offered boarding services. I did that for a short time. In that time I have dog/house sat for family friends. Whether it is drop in visits or boarding, I have plenty of room to run. I am local to parks, and can tend to whatever the dogs may need exercise wise. I also enjoy walking all dogs, and I love all breeds. I am home most of the time, so the dogs won’t be stuck alone for hours on end. I work from home, so there will not be much of a time that the dogs will be alone. I can cater to whatever the dogs need. About: I have done in house pet setting as well as occasional dog walking for families in the area. I love all animals, am dependable and trustworthy. I am an active foster for a local rescue, and I have grown up with dogs+ cats since I was a kid as well. I also have experience with farm animals! Until the beginning of this year I had a foster who I adopted, he was a senior boy who had extensive medical and behavioral issues. “Brittany was absolutely WONDERFUL taking care of our Honeybear!!! She was warm and kind and Honey was so comfortable and loved her as soon as she met her!! She has lots of experience dog sitting, so she has a beautiful, very clean, dog friendly home with all the doggie beds and toys they could ever want! Also a nice big, fenced in back yard so Honey could run and play and do her business whenever needed. She had lots of playtime and snuggles with Honey, took her on walks, sent pics, and gave us updates every single day! We've had some great sitters, but none as phenomenal as Brittany!!!
