“Paige was fantastic! She sent updates and pics everyday and our dog looked so happy every time. We were able to enjoy our vacation without having to worry at all. We will be rebooking her for all of our future trips!”

“This was our first time leaving Prince with a sitter. She made me feel very comfortable with her warm and inviting spirit and her immediate and consistent communication. She provided updates and a picture of him while we were away. He was happy with her and I'm glad he had a home feeling experience. I will definitely use her again and refer her to my friends.”

“As always--Rosie LOVED her time with Sonia and Jeff. She is never hesitant to go with them and is eager to go and play as soon as we arrive. They clearly love dogs and enjoy their time with them. We are always pleased with the care they provide.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mitzi and her family were amazing with our senior pup, Stoshu! She sent daily updates with photos and videos, and it was clear how sweet and attentive she was with him. Her home felt like a luxury resort for dogs, and we had complete peace of mind while we were away. We’d absolutely book with her again!”

“Scott was great! I was worried to leave my dog because he has only stayed with friends and I just moved to the area. But Scott put me at ease with his communication, pictures, and attention to details. Banjo was ready to go in when we arrived and acted all excited when he met Scott and his daughter. I am relieved for finding such a great person to watch my baby when I need to travel. Thank you Scott 😊”

“Ashley and family were great! If I could give her 10 stars I would. We planned a weekend in Rocky Mount and booked boarding for our dog at a local boarding place. We dropped her off and before we left they let us know she was too anxious and would not be able to tolerate the whole weekend there. We tried one other boarding facility and they had a similar set up so I knew she wouldn't be able to stay there either. I found Ashley on rover and messaged her about booking for the weekend last minute. Our dog is very anxious around other dogs which becomes aggression because she gets so worked up. Ashley was able to keep her for the weekend and keep her separated from their other dogs in the home. I was very relieved to know she was safe and taken care and that the other dogs in the home were safe too. When we arrive Harley went right in with them and was happy when we picked her up! They were very understanding and accommodated us so we did not have to cancel our trip last minute. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I will definitely be booking with Ashley any time we are in the area.”

“Luke took great care of my dog over a holiday weekend. His dog got along great with my dog which was nice to have some dog socialization. He kept us updated about the stay and sent pictures which was appreciated. Would definitely book again!”

“Hanna is the best. Gives us photos and videos and texts throughout the day to check in on our dog. Wouldn’t and couldn’t recommend anyone else. Thank you Hanna!”
“Sharon was wonderful with Gracie! She was incredibly communicative and sent pictures and video of my dog throughout her stay. I felt totally confident that Gracie was in good care and getting plenty of love and attention while I was away. I’d happily recommend Sharon and I’m sure I’ll be calling on her again!”

“Kelli & Jacob were absolutely wonderful. They took excellent care of Mo, our Mini Schnauzer, for an entire week while our family travelled. This was our first time using Rover and Mo’s first time being boarded. Kelli & Jacob quickly quelled any initial anxieties. They really took time to understand Mo, his habits, preferences, house boundaries, etc. so they could make him feel at home. Communication was excellent before, during, and after. We also received regular updates throughout the week with photos ❤️ We will definitely be in touch for future trips!”

“Matt & his wife were excellent sitters for my (very) big baby for a week! Matt sent updates and photos of our dogs being adorable together and enjoying themselves. A sign of a good time 'away at camp' is when your dog comes home exhausted, and mine certainly did! Would definitely use Matt and his wife to care for my dog when I'm out of town again.”

“Luis was amazing with our rescue dog, Zeus. He has major separation anxiety and hates to be left alone. Luis was so accommodating and gave me updates and pictures of our little guy. We will definitely book Luis again!”

“Danielle was amazing! Incredible communication and pictures every day! Highly recommend! I definitely would book again with Danielle. Thank you so much for taking care of Buzz 😊”

“Thank you for taking such great care of George due to last minute wedding out of state! Received so many picture updates which were welcomed since he usually is by my side 24/7.”

“Sloane was so great with our pup, Sass! Sass is dog reactive and so it is difficult finding people that are comfortable with handling a dog with such personality, but Sloane did everything right. She also kept great communication with me throughout my trip, and made sure Sass was constantly entertained and comfortable. Sloane is a new safe space for Sass and I could not be more thankful!”

“Words can not express how grateful I am for Marissa & Mosieo for taking care of our sweet Chyna!! They sent updates daily and communicated with us about Chyna activities each day along with pictures. Chyna love their home and they care they provided. This is our second time using their services and gets better each time. Really sweet family. We needed to extend out time being out flight was delayed and it was no problem! Very understanding! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!”

“Dominique is awesome! I was worried about leaving my dog because he has dog dementia. This is a recent diagnosis and I was concerned how he would do in a new place with a new person, but he did well. Dominique was patient with him and supportive. She communicated with me and kept me informed with how he was doing. I definitely recommend her!!!”

“We contacted Alex at the last minute to board our dog, Finn. She is amazing!! Her response time was fast, we were able to schedule a meet and greet that same day and she took excellent care of Finn during his stay. She has 2 well behaved dogs that loved up on Finn. He did so well with Alex and we were at ease for our very special trip. She is organized and handles many dogs at a time with confidence and skill. She is good at communicating so we knew how Finn was doing. I highly recommend Alex! We will use her in the future for sure!”

“Brandi was very flexible and responsive for us-- will be rebooking her for future cat sitting! We are new to the area and this was our first time hiring a sitter for our cat (3 yrs old). Brandi was so helpful and friendly. She gave us helpful feedback about what arrangement would be best for us and our cat and was willing to adjust as needed. Our cat warmed up quickly to her, too, which is rare! We are confident in hiring Brandi for future trips!”

“Janine is very responsible and affectionate with our cats. Kawaii and Bruno adore her, she has always been on time to serve them and takes the time to share with them. We highly recommend her. Thank you very much Janine.”

“Abagail was great and did everything I asked of her, and left everything clean and in order. Kitty liked her a lot, too. We would recommend her as a cat sitter, and we will keep her in mind if and when we travel again.”

“We had such a great experience with Kymberlee! She cared for our 2 cats while we were away for 9 days, and the daily report cards with lots of pictures gave us complete peace of mind. She spent lots of quality time with the cats so they were very happy and relaxed when we arrived home. We’d absolutely book with Kymberlee again, and highly recommend her to anyone in need of a caring pet sitter!”

“We arrived home this evening and all the cats were fine. The litter boxes definitely had been scooped and the house was in great shape. This has been the best Rover sitter experience we’ve had. Thank you so very much, Kelly!”

About: Hi! I’m someone who genuinely enjoys being around animals and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust the person taking care of your pet, so I treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether it’s going for walks, playing, or just keeping them company, I try to match their routine and make things as stress-free as possible. I’m easy to reach, send updates and photos, and I’m always happy to help, even with last-minute plans. At the end of the day, I just want you to feel confident knowing your pet is being well taken care of.

“Outstanding, Cheryl is wonderful with our pets. Refreshing to know our little ones are so well cared for. They missed her last night. Sending us pictures of them playing was great and let us relax and enjoy our time away knowing our pets were enjoying their time with her. The house was very clean when we returned. Unexpected based on our prior experiences. In short she is the best”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, up to three at a time. Over the years I’ve taken in many rescues and fostered dogs from time to time — big or small, young or old it doesn’t matter to me. I’ve also had cats throughout my life. Simply put, I’m an animal lover. Right now I have two dogs of my own, River and Bruiser (an 85lb beauceron and a 35lb true mutt, both rescues, who have traveled cross country with me. They hike, camp and swim but mostly love cuddles. I’m experienced giving medications when needed — oral meds, ear drops, you name it — and I’ve helped several dogs recover post-surgery. I’ve worked with dogs of all ages, behaviors and sizes. I’m active and outgoing, so I love taking dogs for long walks. I work from home, so as long as there’s Wi-Fi, I’m happy to house-sit and hang out with your dogs or cats while I work. I’m also available for quick drop-in visits — walks, feeding, water, play, fetch, whatever’s needed. Flexible scheduling works fine for me. I work from home full time so I’m here with them all day. We typically go for three walks a day in addition to play time in the yard and most importantly lots of belly rubs and cuddles. I have a fenced yard where we play fetch, take the sun and play in the sprinklers. Dogs have free reign and are allowed on couches and beds.
“Jeneen did a wonderful job with my cat. He tends to be very shy around new people but he seem to really take to Jeneen. She is very reliable and was very good about following instructions. Everyday I was gone she sent me pictures and video of my baby.”

“Marissa has taken excellent care of my cat Oscar several times now. She’s awesome — trustworthy, communicates well, on time, and is totally comfortable with a rambunctious kitty. You should have no reservations whatsoever booking with her. I know I will again!”

“Nicole did a great job watching our cats while we were away. She sent pictures and let us know when she was dropping in as well. She also watered my plants for me. We will book Nicole again in the future.”

“We used Rover a few times for our outdoor cat. We always request Akira. She is pleasant and friendly and professional. She absolutely loves animals. My cat can be shy always running and keeping safe distance. Starting first time meeting my pet. Akira began winning Koda over. First Koda was curious. I was so shocked...after last visit, my cat doesnt leave at all. my Akira always looking to make sure pet is fine. Sends pictures on every visit. Alway promot. I really appreciate the service Akira provides.”

“Carol was absolutely amazing! I have a diabetic cat who requires injections twice a day and I was really nervous leaving her. Carol was so reassuring and kind and took amazing care of my cats while I was away. She truly put my mind at ease and I will 1000% be booking with her again.”

“This was our first time working with Ben and he watched our two cats for two weeks while we were in Ca. He met us for a meet and greet and then an additional paid for feeding while we were home to practice with our kitties. He is very kind, has a gentle disposition, and we felt good leaving our nervous kitties with him and trusting him in our home. He was responsive the two times I checked in and he reached out to us the morning after returning home. We will be sure to use Ben again!! Thanks, Ben!”

“What a great experience with Martine and her husband. They obviously made Bryce feel welcomed in their home … as by the second day he went straight to her front door and didn’t look back while I was leaving. Also want to “shout out” her willingness to be a bit flexible with the schedule … (I was meeting a friend locally and wanted to be able to enjoy Raleigh for dinner (which was awesome at The Plate). This pet sitting experience enhanced my visit to Raleigh !!!”

“Kerri and her husband are amazing dog sitters. They sent me pictures and videos during the day and I could see that Ollie had a great time. I highly recommend Kerri and will bring Ollie back when I need another doggy day care.”

About: We’re an active, dog-loving couple who miss having a furry friend around - so we put all that energy into the pups we host. We raised a golden retriever for over 12 years, through eight different homes, which taught us how to stay flexible and make any space feel like home for a dog. We’ve also cared for the fur-babies of our friends and family over the years, so medium and large breeds are totally our comfort zone. Carleigh works from home every day, and John is home four days a week, meaning your dog gets tons of attention, playtime, and company. We’re not ready for a new pup of our own yet, but we love having short-term four-legged guests to spoil. Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine because one of us is almost always home, so your dog will get tons of attention, supervision, and company throughout each day. We love taking breaks to go on walks, play outside, or just hang out with a furry friend while we work. Since we’re already active and outside often, adding a dog to our routine is fun and effortless. We treat every dog like a temporary member of the family. Our home is clean, calm, and set up to be dog-friendly, especially for medium and large breeds. We pay close attention to routines, instructions, and any quirks or preferences your dog has. We’re big on communication - you’ll get updates, photos, and messages so you always know how your pup is doing. Whether it’s play time, relaxing, or sticking to their normal schedule, we make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for from the moment they arrive.
“I had a last minute scheduling issue with taking my cocker spaniel Silas in for his surgery. Alexandria was willing to adapt her schedule to fit our needs. She got up very very early and dropped him off at the vet for me! She was kind and respectful, patient and easy to talk with. I can't tell ya how much peace of mind it brought me, knowing Silas was in good hands.”
“Absolutely amazing caregivers!!! My little angel had a blast with Yamy and Alfonso. They are completely understanding and gentle to my little fur baby. 110% booking again!!”

“Booked last minute when previous sitter backed out night before doggy day care was to begin. They also have dogs which worked out even better since my pup loves to play. This family is my “go to” when I come up to visit. Can’t thank them enough for helping us for this New Year holiday.”

About: I love all animals, I’ve dog sit in the past for families and really enjoyed it. I have prior experience with small dogs, along with larger ones. I’m looking for openings in the Louisburg area. Looking forward to have the opportunity to work with different animals and meeting new people in the area. I believe you have to be patient with all animals and pets especially when you are first meeting them. Always keeping in mind that it’s going to take time for them to warm up to a new person caring for them. I’m currently taking a break from nannying, and have a huge love for animals. I’ve had pets all my life. From cats, fish, hamsters, and dogs; to birds, snakes, iguanas and bearded dragons! I’m excited and can’t wait to meet your pets!! :) Being respectful of people’s homes, personal spaces and overall privacy. My main focus is the well being of the animal, making sure they’re taken care of.
“Sloane is the BEST!! Her updates are detailed with lots of photos, and as an anxious dog mom, I really appreciate that! Cooper has such a great time with her and always comes home tired from all the fun. 10/10, cannot recommend more!”

“Gretchen was absolutely amazing with our dog, Molly. This was our first time using Rover, and naturally we were a little nervous leaving her with someone new, especially because Molly can be anxious and has a few special considerations. Gretchen immediately put us at ease. She was kind, attentive, communicative, and clearly cared about making Molly feel safe and comfortable in her home. We received updates and could tell Molly was being genuinely cared for, not just watched. Gretchen was also very patient with Molly’s quirks and made the entire experience stress-free for us. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable, compassionate, and attentive.”

About: I am just your average mother to dogs, cats and little humans running around. I am also your local dog/cat groomer. I have 10 years of experience and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon! I am very confident on handling all sorts of pets, pets with special needs, senior pups, puppies, pregnant mommas, unfixed fur babies and of course pups who might need a little discipline. I am pretty observant on behavior and can tend to whatever needs. I am very active(having 2 boys will do that) but I can also lay back. This also isn’t my first rover account. I used to partner with rover a few years back but since having kids and life changes, had to recreate a new updated account. I’m currently a stay at home momma during the week and groom during the weekend. My hubby is home weekends so pets are never left unattended. I have a fenced yard and love to be outdoors if weather permits. I also won’t pass up a cuddle session if thats what decided for the day <3

“Archer had a fantastic day with Brittany! She kept me updated on how he was doing, took him to the dog park, sent pics, was very responsive. Would definitely use again.”

About: I have extensive experience working with animals, including working closely with veterinarians, fostering adoptable dogs, providing pet care for family and friends, and having many different kinds of furry family members over the years. Let my experience give you peace of mind while you’re away—your fur babies are in good hands. When you book me for pet sitting, your furry family member is absolutely the priority. Do they like to be active? Then that’s what we’re doing. Are they lazy? I can snuggle with the best of them. Do they need to go out often? Got it. Two walks a day? Done. Whatever it is, you can count on me to provide the best care for your best bud. My pet sitting (and boarding) spots have gone quickly so far, so if my availability matches your needs, send me a message and we can set up an initial meeting so you and your loved ones can meet me and we can all make sure I’m the right fit. While caring for your pets in your home, I can also water your plants, bring any packages inside, put trash bins at the curb if it’s trash day, etc. Just let me know what you need and I’ll let you know if I can help with it. I apply the same level of care to boarding. My fees are a little lower since I don’t have to travel to your pet, but in my home, your pet’s still my #1 priority. I provide the same attention I’d give them in your home if not more, because I know my environment isn’t the one they’re used to. Whether your furry fam needs a fun walk, a cozy place to stay, or loving care while you're away, I'll treat them with the same patience, kindness, and attention I'd give my own. Regardless if your pup is energetic and playful, shy and cautious, or a senior who enjoys a slower pace, I'll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. You can count on me for reliable communication, photo updates, and plenty of cuddles, playtime, and exercise. My goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your pet has a great experience. I'd love the opportunity to meet you and your pet and become someone you can trust whenever you need dependable, compassionate care. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits throughout the week. I do my best to work around your pet's routine to help them feel comfortable and keep their day as normal as possible. Whether you need regular care or last-minute help, I'll communicate promptly and do everything I can to meet your needs. When visiting your home, I leave no trace other than a happy pet. At my house, I have a fenced in yard, pool, dog door I can open or close if your pet isn’t good with those, treats, toys, and comfy spots to rest. The dog I had for 15 years (who recently passed) would absolutely vouch for these little sunny spots that show up in different parts of my house across the day. Regardless of location, I will stick to your pet’s schedule and make sure their needs are met.
“My dog Reese is so happy to spend the day with Arden! By our second and third visits, Reese had learned what it means when I say “you’re going to see your friend Arden today,” and she happy whines in the car when we get close to her house! Very grateful to have her as a backup parent for when I need a break.”

“Dawn is a great dog sitter. She took lots of photos, and her dog Rice was a wonderful host too! She took care of Ruby and Toasty for the day in her home as a "trial run" to make sure all 3 dogs were compatible so we will definitely be using her in the future for extended stays. Highly recommend.”

“Cheryl is 10+/10. She is accepting and the BEST in caring for my deaf sweet, sometimes determined Jack Russell mix who has her own mind. We were truly blessed when Cheryl came into our lives.”

About: I’m a pediatric ICU nurse who brings the same compassion and reliability to pet care. I have baseline experience taking care of my own cats as well as my friends' dogs. I can easily follow specific feeding instructions to keep your pets' diet consistent and potty-walks are a breeze! Due to my own cats medication routine and my nursing career, I know how important medication timing is, if you pet needs any routine medications while I care for them you can be rest assured that it will get done, and get done right! I understand how much trust it takes to leave your fur-baby with someone else. I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and cared for every step of the way. I have a flexible nightshift schedule that allows me to have more opportunities to take care of your furbaby. Being a nurse, I only work a few nights a week and can be available in and out of typical working hours to provide your pet care and attention! I will be available almost any day of the week for single or multiple daily check-ins, potty walks, zoomie-releasing play sessions in gated areas or carefully in your home, scheduled feedings and more! I live on the cusp of Knightdale, so commuting to the Triangle is not a problem, even for checking in every few hours. In their home, your pet probably feels most comfortable! I can provide them lots of fun and safe interactions while you are away, making sure they don't feel lonely as they wait for you to come back home! I'll always be sure to stay in the same room with them, you never know what kind of mischief they can get into if left to their own devices unsupervised! Breaking into the treat drawer won't fly under my radar! If your pet needs to stay at my apartment for any reason, I am on the first floor, so no stairs needed if that is a struggle for your pet. I do own two shy but friendly cats, but my apartment has enough space that they can be put in a separate room for a portion of the day while your kiddo and I hang out! We will probably just sit together on my couch while I read or watch TV together, nothing too loud that would cause any stress.
“Taylor was fantastic!! I needed a last minute savior after my normal person backed out and she was there for us. Great communication and was great with my big fur baby. I plan on using her whenever I need someone from now on.”

“Jennifer is amazing. I will use her again. We went away for a full week and she came to my home and took amazing care of our corgi, Khloe while we were gone. She took her on walks, fed & played with her. Khloe has never, in almost 10 years been boarded and I’m so glad we found Jennifer. She was able to stay in her own home while we were gone & be loved and cared for by a new friend. Use her. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you Jennifer and thank you Rover.”

About: I have always had animals in my home growing up. Currently I own 4 cats but have had small rodents such as hamsters and guinea pigs as well. I worked in pet care for Petsmart and worked there for 2 and a half years before beginning my teaching career. As someone who has had rodents and taken care of reptiles at Petsmart, don’t hesitate to contact me if you have exotics! I have taken care of and watched my parents animals which consisted of 6 cats, one had to have insulin twice a day. I’ve given different animals medications and am confident I can watch your fur babies! I look forward to hearing from you! I am a full time teacher and am currently only available on weekends or holidays as of right now. I’ll have more free time over spring and summer break! I prefer to not board animals in my home as I do not have room for them. However, I would very much enjoy coming over and taking care of them for drop in visits!
“Thank you so much for all you did! ❤️ I'm glad he was a good boy. Feel free to help work with him on no jumping. He does know sit and stay for when you leave too! I hope he didn't scratch you up or make bruises, he didn't mean to if he did.”

I work from home during the week and I have lots of down-time allowing me to interact and play with your fur baby . “Scott was great! I was worried to leave my dog because he has only stayed with friends and I just moved to the area.

“Thank you for taking such great care of George due to last minute wedding out of state! Received so many picture updates which were welcomed since he usually is by my side 24/7.”

“We couldn't be happier with the care Hilary and Lucas provided for our dog, Sparta! He had an absolute blast during his stay and even made some new furry friends. It's clear they genuinely love what they do and treat every dog like their own. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our boy! We highly recommend their service to anyone seeking trustworthy and loving care for their pup.”

“Denise and Oscar were amazing with Chip! They were understanding of my anxiety with using rover and all of chips needs. They sent me photos and updates the whole time he was there. They treated him as if he was one of their own and made me feel he was right at home with them. He was so spoiled and happy being there he was ready to go back! Will always be my go to people now if I need to for Chip!”

“Sarah is a very kind dog sitter with a spacious, welcoming home. I very much appreciated the frequent puppygrams (pics & video) of Scout's stay with her and how much outdoors time Scout got. We will be more than happy to send our dog to her for future stays!”
“Jeremy and Lauren were excellent! We were pinched for a last minute sitter - and it was a holiday weekend - so we were so thankful to find Jeremy and Lauren to watch our pup at the last minute! They were great to work with and our dog had such a fun time - they have a great backyard for the dogs to play. They sent lots of photos and videos which was so great - definitely recommend and we will be back!”

“This was the perfect boarding experience from beginning to end. The level of care, professionalism, and attention to detail was exceptional. It was clear right away that my pet was in safe, capable, and genuinely caring hands. Everything was handled exactly the way I hoped it would be. Communication was excellent, updates were reassuring, and every detail was managed with care. The environment felt safe, clean, organized, and welcoming. Most importantly, my pet was comfortable, well cared for, and treated with real kindness and patience. What stood out most was the boarder’s attitude. They were dependable, thoughtful, attentive, and clearly take pride in what they do. It is rare to find someone who combines professionalism with such a warm and personal touch. If you are looking for the ideal boarding service, this is it. Trustworthy, responsive, caring, and truly top-tier in every way. I would absolutely use this service again and highly recommend it to anyone who wants real peace of mind when leaving their pet in someone else’s care”
