“We found the perfect person to watch our Gracie. MARILBEL was accommodating, sweet, and a natural dog lover. Along with her dog, Molly, Maribel gave Gracie a wonderful few days. We had tried our vet's kennel and even the "luxury" pet kennels, but our dog is a "people" dog, and was definitely traumatized by those places, and it took days for her to get back to our normal dog. Putting my dog in a cage for days is NOT what we wanted. But Maribel was our answer. She loved on Gracie, played with her, texted us with pictures, and when we picked her up, she was not traumatized. She was her happy, normal dog self. We are grateful for Maribel and highly recommend her.”

About: I can’t remember a time in my life that I didn’t have a dog (or two). Big dogs, little dogs and in between. Now that I am retired, I devote most of my time to caring for my two “baby girls”. Daisy & Bella are litter sisters although they don’t look a like. They are Teddy Bear/Schicons (1/2 Bichon Frise and 1/2 Shih Tzu). They are inseparable, looking out for each other or wrestling together, where there’s one there is the other. They do play well with others. My sister’s little girl is a Shih Tzu and she is an only child, we laugh and call her the Princess. I sit for her for a week or long weekends when my sister visits her daughter out of town. She also comes over for play dates. They all respect each other’s boundaries and the Princess has learned to play with “the Court Jesters”. My dogs and visitors are allowed on furniture and beds. My yard is not fenced, but I do have a radio frequency collar system that I can use or walk on leash per owner’s preference. I live a long way from the road so it is safe. We go on golf cart rides around the property in the afternoon, my girls look forward to it. I am retired, so unless I have a doctor appointment or go grocery shopping, I am home 100% of the time. I do go to church on Sunday morning. My girls have the run of our home but I can use a crate if owner desires. I will treat your fur baby like I do my own. They are my #1 priority, always. They have a feeding schedule twice daily with a few treats throughout the day. They get lots of love and snuggles to their satisfaction. I encourage them to play with toys inside interacting with each other and myself. They will get plenty of exercise indoors and outdoors. I refreshed their water several times daily.

I worked at Willow Run Dog Boarding for 4 years before they sold it. I’ve also helped out long-term for a family who worked night shifts for a year and I foster dogs through Saving Grace while I’m at school! I’m a college student home for the summer, and I'm currently looking for a part-time job. At home, we have a fenced-in yard and one husky, but I prefer caring for pets through home visits so pets can stay comfortable in their own environment. I'm 50 years old, but when I'm in the presence of a furry friend, I start baby talking like a 2-year-old. Bottom line, I love dogs. I am Mama to 4 rescue pups and a rescue kitty. About: I’ve taken care of so many different kinds of dogs since I was a little girl, from helping with breeding, nursing baby puppies back to health, potty training, growing up, and also as they grew old. Small dogs, medium dogs, large dogs, they all have been a part of my life of which I have enjoyed. Sadly, seizures and surgeries with daily medications have also been a part of the care I have given. I have my own business so I have a very flexible schedule and can be available day or night to take care of your furr babies 😊 My own animals are so friendly and loving and my home would be completely safe for ur furr babies but at this time I won't be able to board any pets at my house. About: I was raised on a farm with cats and dogs. I have a plott hound mix, a pit bull, a lab, and a sassy calico cat, all rescues, of my own. I have a lot of compassion for animals and treat them like members of the family, albeit spoiled ones. My goal is to keep your pet as comfortable as possible while their human(s) are gone. About: I've taken care of dogs/pets my whole life, my passion only grew larger for them as I grew older. They are truly the heart of the world and they give us the motivation to keep pushing forward. Not only do I have personal experience caring and medicating animals, but I also have experience dealing with aggressive dogs as well as previous experience working in a kennel/doggy-daycare where I cared for, walked, and medicating cats and dogs in my daily routine. I am also going to NC State currently, going to be a junior in the fall, majoring in animal science which has provided me with so much knowledge on animals and how to best care for them, ranging many species but specializing in companion animals. I'm currently out of college for summer break so I have plenty of time to spend with your furry family members and make sure they get the best experience possible while you're away. We have a large fenced in back yard with lots of shade. Our family has two dogs. Ava, a lab chow mix who loves other dogs and company; and Rocket, an older maltese. We also have two cats, Josephine and Henry who are very used to dogs and typically do their own thing. We had tried our vet's kennel and even the "luxury" pet kennels, but our dog is a "people" dog, and was definitely traumatized by those places, and it took days for her to get back to our normal dog. Putting my dog in a cage for days is NOT what we wanted. But Maribel was our answer. She loved on Gracie, played with her, texted us with pictures, and when we picked her up, she was not traumatized.
