About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was a teenager. My friends, neighbors, and my family would rely on me to check on them. I would play with them, feed them, walk them, and sometimes if they have injuries I would change them and keep an eye on them while they were in my care. I'm currently not working at this moment. Im available from 9-5 during the weekdays but on the weekends I can do a couple hours if needed. I prefer the weekdays to be at the client's house and the weekends can be at my house because I have my kiddos. They love animals like they run with them and play fetch as well.

I have a lot of experience with animals including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, ferrets, turtles, rats, exotic birds, goats, and a tarantula or two so feel free to reach out if you have any questions about your pet. I worked as a Veterinarian Assistant in Greensboro, NC and I have been with Rover since 2018. I am a kind-hearted, patient person with lots of love to give your pets while you are away. I am an avid hiker but if she/he is more of a couch potato, that works too. I have cared for puppies, adult and senior dogs, kittens, adult and senior cats with medication needs on several occasions. Shy and senior pets are my specialties! I have two senior female dogs at home that I’ve had since they were puppies and three rambunctious short hair cats. When they were younger we would walk Battleground Park and the various trails in Eden or around the lakes in Greensboro. I am available for drop-ins and long or short walks. I have 3 bedrooms for the loners who want to relax and nap. Dog walking is offered before it gets too hot between 6am-11am. We deep clean and disinfect every morning to keep cdc compliant. As a former certified medical assistant, I have experience administering meds at scheduled times or give injections. Up to date on CPR/BLS/Bloodborne pathogen certification. Rest assure there is never a need for this but its my way of being prepared for anything to maintain safety and protection to pets.

About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was a teenager. My friends, neighbors, and my family would rely on me to check on them. I would play with them, feed them, walk them, and sometimes if they have injuries I would change them and keep an eye on them while they were in my care. I'm currently not working at this moment. I am a single mom to my active 14-year-old son, who shares my love for animals. We both enjoy spending time with pets, and caring for animals is something that is already a meaningful part of our everyday lives. I work full-time from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but I have a one-hour lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM that allows me to check on pets, provide potty breaks, walks, feedings, or companionship during the day. After work, I am available in the evenings to provide additional care, walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is for pets to have a consistent routine and feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I currently care for my two Basset Hounds, Cooper and Charlie, and they are an important part of our family. I am committed to making sure every pet in my care receives the exercise, affection, companionship, and individual attention they need. In my home, my two Basset Hounds, Cooper and Charlie, have access to our fenced backyard through a doggy door, allowing them to go outside as needed throughout the day. They have a consistent routine that includes feeding, fresh water, exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection and attention. When caring for pets in a client's home, I strive to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding according to their schedule, providing fresh water, taking them for walks or potty breaks, cleaning up after them, administering basic care as instructed, and spending quality time with them. I understand that pets are most comfortable when their routine remains consistent, and I will treat your pets and home with the same care and respect that I give my own.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was young. They always bring me joy! I have energy, love, and patience for each puppy:) I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have plenty of time with your sweet fur baby! I’m available for boarding on weekends and walks in the middle of the week. I have a large outdoor pen with some yard but they are allowed indoors. I have two very sweet dogs to keep yours company. I can easily crate your dog if needed.
“Kacie was absolutely incredible with our dog Brodie! We were in town for our wedding at Bella Collina and she went above and beyond and you can tell she is just super caring of all the dogs she takes care of. We worked out an arrangement where she would bring our dog to our venue for our ceremony and it went sooo smooth! I would 100% recommend her, especially for any others who may be coming in out of town and might not get a meet and greet like we couldn't. Our only regret is that she didn't live closer, as she would definitely have become our go to sitter after this experience.”
“Lexi did an amazing job watching Patch while I was out of state. Patch can be nervous with new people and has a fairly specific care routine, but Lexi was patient, attentive, and made her feel comfortable. She sent regular updates, photos, and a video, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She took Patch on walks, to the park, and even out for a pup cup. She also went above and beyond by buying toys and treats for Patch to enjoy during her stay. It was clear that Patch was well cared for and had a great time. Lexi was incredibly kind and thoughtful, and I would absolutely trust her to watch Patch again!”

I received pictures or a video every day which is truly appreciated when I’m away from my baby awhile. I highly recommend Lakonka for your fur baby’s needs. So much so, I’ve already coordinated the next time Phoebe will be in her care :)”
“This was my first time boarding my Aussie, and I was honestly a bit nervous — but she did an amazing job reassuring me from the start. She made the whole process feel easy and stress-free, which I really appreciated. I was especially worried because she has three dogs, and my Aussie can get a little overwhelmed. But she handled introductions perfectly — slow, one at a time — and my dog adjusted way better than I expected. Fast forward to pickup time… I think my dog may have forgotten who I am Not only was she completely comfortable, but she had already decided that the husband was her human now (and she normally reserves that level of love for my own husband). At one point, he was petting one of his own dogs, and mine started whining like, “Excuse me?? That’s MY attention.” The jealousy was very real. So overall: ✅ Great communication and reassurance ✅ Thoughtful, safe dog introductions ✅ Happy, well-adjusted pup ❗ Slight risk your dog will try to move in permanently Would absolutely book again — just emotionally preparing myself for the betrayal next time”
