About: Hello! I’m a long time pet lover and house sitter (of my own place) I have interacted with many pets of my friends and worked at animal shelters. My experience with pets starts in high school when I volunteered at the local animal shelter cleaning out kennels, grooming and playing with cats and dogs. I then graduated to being a pet auntie for my friends animals and then pet sitting for various clients. I love pets, they are adorable and I can’t wait until I can have my own! They will have access to 2 separate fenced in areas, one with a doggie door. Your dog can be crated or not and are welcome on the furniture with our dogs. About: Rescuing dogs — especially puppies — is the most rewarding feeling in life. The most important thing with our furry friends is consistency. If you're stricter with your dog, you need a sitter who'll uphold those rules, not let them slide. I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for years, and I've learned that it's not about what I want — it's about honoring what the owner has built with their pet. I work with the public in my day job, so patience is second nature to me. Pets are no different. They need someone who can read their energy, stay calm, and meet them where they're at. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. I match their pace, not mine. I don't know if anything really sets me apart from other sitters. I just genuinely want to be there for the furry family member. My availability in inconsistent due to Firefighting but I will always respond as soon as I'm able too. I understand due to my schedule I won't the best sitter for if you need someone daily, but if you need someone to drop-in, walk your dog, or just need a night out, feel free to leave a message. Currently working for a fire department, schedule can be inconsistent. Great for drop in play times and walks. Days off from fire department can be great for unexpected care. Currently unable to have pets in home due to renting rules. Will make sure to confirm and follow all rules with you before accepting the job.
About: I am a 27 year old husband and father of 2 boys. I am a veterinary nurse who works with dogs and cats everyday. I love what I do and consider myself lucky to be able to make a living working with animals. I know that most owners feel the same way as i do about their dogs/cats when they have to leave them in others hands. Owners are going to worry when they are away and it is up to the person responsible for their pet to make them feel at ease. When your pet is with me you can know that they are in good hands and that I will do everything I can to make them feel safe. I have had the pleasure of sitting dogs and cats all over the country, including house sits in California, Oregon, Washington, and now North Carolina. I have experience with young puppies, as well as elderly dogs with a plethora of health problems; I also have experience with big dogs like German shepherds, Australian shepherds, and Rottweilers, to teacup Pomeranians, spitz, and many more. They will have access to 2 separate fenced in areas, one with a doggie door. Your dog can be crated or not and are welcome on the furniture with our dogs. Ours sleep in an x-pen together but your dog can sleep where ever it prefers. I want them to be comfortable like it is their own home.

“David and April - and their dog Joe - were the perfect hosts for my dog Winnie! We had a "meet and greet" a couple of weeks before her boarding, and I immediately felt at ease. I got pictures and a short report every day which eased any concerns I might have had (I really didn't have any after the meet and greet). Their house is very clean and comfortable, and David and April made sure to give Winnie the attention she needed to quickly adjust. I am very thankful I have been able to find someone who I feel so comfortable with - and will look forward to my next trip knowing Winnie will be very well cared for.”
