About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have cared for four dogs of different ages, breeds, and sizes. I currently have an 8-year-old mutt named Tucker who is incredibly sweet. Tucker previously went through heartworm treatment, so I have experience following medication schedules and giving medication as directed. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playing, basic grooming, and giving pets plenty of attention. I’ve also owned and cared for parrots, iguanas, lizards, hamsters, and many other animals. I genuinely love animals and will treat every pet like one of my own. I’m currently in college and only have about three hours of class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time to give your pets the attention they deserve. I have a huge backyard for your pups to run around and get exercise, they will always be leashed to ensure safety for everyone. About: I have had, rescued, and taken care of a wide variety of dogs from smaller malti-poos to a Dane who had been living on the street, was skin and bones, and ended up 188 lbs. Currently I have Pippa, a 7-year-old Labrador who is allergic to chicken, so I make part of her food. I am home most of the time, except when I host overly-complex board games at the Hickory Library or the Highland Rec Center -- and those sessions are at most 3 hours long. I am home most days, except when I am hosting 3-hour board games at the local library and rec center. Otherwise, I take care of our house and rental properties. I have a large fenced yard -- especially-so since my house sits along North Center Street. I also use carabiners to make sure that gates are locked.

For house sitting, my standard rate covers overnight care with normal daytime absences. I stay overnight and am out during the day, with potty breaks as indicated, plus meals and playtime. Some pets need more than that. Puppies, seniors, pets on medication, and dogs with separation anxiety often do best with someone home nearly full time. I live in the North Wilkesboro area. I have one dog who is 3 yrs old and loves friends. I am an administrator by trade so dedicated, hard-working, and responsible. I am clean and tidy so you don't have to worry about coming home to a dirty house. I don't mind cleaning up after myself or your pet. I work full time 8-4:30. I am home on the weekend. I spend my nights and weekends with my dog so we can easily include yours as well! I have one 3 year old female dog. She is fixed, trained and won’t be a problem. We go on walks and I have a long chain for the dogs to explore the yard with. I live in a safe neighborhood with no worries or issues. I treat the dogs like family. They can be on furniture and I normally do not crate my dog. If yours needs crated I have a spare room so they can feel safe and not upset not being with my dog.
About: I have 10+ years of experience with cat and dog sitting, and also have experience caring for farm animals (I've worked on several farms). I’m comfortable and experienced working with pets of a variety of ages, from young kittens to older senior pups. I am available for pet sitting gigs in your home most days of the week. I also offer doggy day care and overnight boarding in my home Thursday afternoons through Sundays. I’m a flexible and responsive sitter, please reach out to connect! Our home is located in a private, quiet country setting. We have a fenced in yard for pups to play in. We have a dog ourselves who enjoys time with other pups and we also have an outdoor cat. Happy to take dogs on walks, run around in the fenced area, play fetch. etc. And, if cuddling is their thing, then I'll be curled up right beside them. Snugs = the best.
