“We had a great experience with Lane. He was great with our dog, who had never been with a boarding program or dog sitter before, and kept us updated with how he was doing. We are confident our dog got great care with Lane and liked the environment he was in. Thank you so much!”

“Wonderful experience! Jill was able to take in our pup on very short notice when we had our pet sitter cancel. From pictures, he definitely looked like he had a great time playing in her yard! Highly recommend!”

“Elizabeth was the perfect sitter for my dog! My puppy is pretty hyper and I was looking for someone that could handle all that energy. Elizabeth responded immediately and kept me updated with photos the whole time. And my pup loved her!”

“Heather took excellent care of our dog who can be highly anxious. She communicated well with us and took her time and asked good questions ahead of time to make sure she could take care of our dog in addition to the dogs she already had in her care. We would certainly ask Heather to care for our dogs in the future.”

“I’m so glad I found Laura! We recently moved from out of state and so needed to start over with a trusted dog sitter for our 2 littles. They had been with the same sitter for several years so this would be a big change for them. Laura immediately set me at ease with her immaculate home and her calm manner. While Luna and Ruby were in high alert with the new house, they settled in quickly. Laura sent many updates and pics which was reassuring. We are confident we have found our new permanent sitter! Thank you, Laura for taking good care of our girls!”

“Excellent experience. Amanda and her family were very accommodating, communicated with us every day on how our Shelby girl was doing. They went above and beyond for this overly protective dog Mom! Highly recommend.”

About: I have been a dog sitter for 6 years! I love dogs because sometimes they’re easier to talk to than humans. I would love to meet your furry friends! PM me for any further questions. I am free 7 days a week to care for you. I am a college student but I only have class 2 days a week from 9-10:15am. I have a huge front yard which is not fenced in but I live 2 minutes from a fenced in park! My house is dog proof!

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a little girl. I am currently a full-time student at Appalachian State University studying Veterinary Technology. I am going to be entering my third year in the fall. I am looking to spend time with fur babies while I am completing school! I am currently a full-time student studying veterinary technology to become a licensed veterinary technician. My schedule is generally very flexible; on occasion I will have some classes where we meet online. I treat all animals as if they are my own. My animals are my children, and I will take care of yours the same way. I will have to say taking care of animals of all kinds is a true passion of mine. Which is why I have chosen this path for my career! I may have started a little later in life but better late than never I always say!
“Excellent care. Fran went above and beyond caring for our dog. He had tummie issues while we were gone and Fran even cooked special food for him and fixed the problem. Her communication was very informative the entire time. Fran even went to our vet for ear drops. Wow! We could not have found a better sitter than her. A real GEM!!!!”

About: “I’ve had dogs as companions since I was a child, and they’ve always been cherished members of my family. I treat every animal in my care like family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away.” “Pet care is a natural part of my daily life, not just a job, but something I truly love. Living in the Appalachian mountains has taught me the value of a calm, grounded lifestyle, and I bring that same peaceful energy into the care I provide. I treat every pet like family and pay close attention to their unique personality and needs, whether they’re playful, shy, elderly, or needing extra comfort while you’re away. My goal is always to help pets feel safe, loved, and at home in my care.” “I care for every pet with the same attentiveness and love that I give my own children. Safety, trust, and comfort are always my top priorities, and I work hard to create a calm, dependable environment where pets feel secure and cared for.
“Best dog sitter we've ever had. Our dog seemed to love all the other animals and Tanya gave our dog Bummer extra attention. Bummer may have found a second home. Thank you so much!”

“Sherrie and her husband along with their son were awesome. They sent lots of pictures and our dogs seemed to be having a great time. They loved her huge backyard to run around in all day long and snuggles on the couch at night. Definitely recommend using her as your next Rover.”

About: Picture this: you love your working breed dog... but they can be a boarder's nightmare. Does it make you nervous that they won't get enough stimulation while you're away? You can rest assured dogs with me will get 2-3 miles of trails a day along with 2+ hours (more on weekends!) of supervised play time with an equally energetic husky. Along with structured crate time to decompress. I've dealt with the worst of leash pullers and have trained my own dogs with high expectations of good behavior. You don't have to worry about your pup loosing manners or reverting to bad behaviors while you're away! I can reinforce proper training while he/she enjoys vacation at a beautiful hideaway with miles of private woods, right on the lake for some water play when it's hot! Your pet's schedule: 7-9am: breakfast! 1-2 miles of trails 9-12pm: crate time with options of mental stimulation toys and food toys 12-1pm: potty break and inside or outside supervised play time with my dog 1-5pm: crate time 5pm: dinner time and evening walks 6pm-bedtime: supervised time around the house, options to interact with other pets, myself, household members. Bedtime: crate or bed if they prefer Note: this is based on my regular daily work schedule for weekdays and weekends. Some flexibility on time frames, excersize amounts, etc are possible. Just ask and let's see if can work something out! I have a high focus on making sure every animal gets adequate amounts of physical and mental stimulation. If your dog has needs outside of what I have listed, let's have a conversation! Crating is required while I or my husband is not in the house. Your dog will be crated in a low stimulation environment away from other animals for proper decompression time. And will never be longer than 4 hours during the day.

“Lane has been absolutely wonderful to deal with in absolutely every respect, from the I total inquiry, to scheduling the drop off to pick up and along the way when we had to extend the time due to a change in our travel itinerary. He is extremely responsive and sent us photos of Dior during her stay there. It was very clear the Dior enjoyed her stay with him as well.”

“Caitlin has done such a great job with our cats! She arrived during the scheduled time every evening, took lots of pictures of the kitties, and communicated with me daily. We will definitely book with her again.”

About: Animals just relax around me. I’ve worked with many pet owners who are apprehensive to leave their pets with anyone due to the pet’s nervous temperaments, and other various quirks, and every single time the animals have surprised their owners by completely settling in with me. I prioritize play, love, and connecting with each individual pet I watch however they specifically need. I’ve looked after animals of all breeds, ages, & temperaments- from anxious & fussy older pets to energetic young puppies. I’ve even cared for lizards, turtles, fish, plants (haha), hamsters, birds, & rabbits. Whatever their needs, I will make sure they feel safe, loved, & at home while they’re with me. I am a potter who works from my home studio, and I make my own schedule- so I can generally be flexible and accommodate your pets needs. I love having pets in my home, and breaking away from my studio to get some fresh air and puppy/kitty love too! If I’m working on a big project, it’s nice to have to flexibility to come and go from my studio when possible, or have your pet there with me- but I have worked out all kinds of house sit/drop in/boarding arrangements according to the needs of clients and their pets. Let’s talk! I live in a peaceful home with a large fenced in backyard, and nice quiet streets to walk with your pet as needed. About: Hi! I'm Megan! As a former Kennel/Vet Tech with Vet Tech schooling and growing up with dogs, cats, horses and chickens, I have always had a special bond and connection to animals. I have experience with all kinds of different breeds and personalities! My husband, Josh, and I live in our camper van, so we are able to provide constant care for your pets while you're away. When you book us for overnight sits, we take care of your pets and stay in your home as a team of professional petsitters. Josh works remotely in IT, and I work some weekends in the wedding industry, so with no physical, daily job to go to and no house/pets of our own to check on, we are able to spend a significant amount of our time taking care of your pets. A bonus of our luxury care is that your pets will get double the love and attention from us throughout the day; our goal is to keep their routine as normal as possible and for them to hardly know you're gone! Living in a van and working remotely comes with so much flexibility for us and our Rover clients. Pet parents value the level of care we're able to provide with our nomadic lifestyle. Petcare is my full-time job, so when you book us for a housesit, that is my main priority. While I'm the main caretaker, Josh learns about your pets' care needs and helps out a ton as well, especially if I have to work a wedding or I need to do drop-ins/dog walks. We work great as a team to meet your pets’ needs and to keep their normal routine. We take the safety of your pets and the care of your home very serious. If you have pets that require special attention or have high anxiety, we are there to ensure everyone is safe, relaxed, and taken care of. We care for your pets as if they were our own and you can be rest assured they'll not only have their needs met, but be loved, played with and given plenty of attention as well!

Since earlier childhood, I have had dogs including and most recently had two beautiful and hilarious bulldogs. I have experience with dog sitting and dog walking for friends and family back in Michigan. I have had experience with Rover as me and my sister for two years pet sat for several families in the Chicago area. I currently work during the week but am home in the early afternoon. I'm typically home all weekend which lends itself to being able to give dogs the attention, cuddles and care they need. I live in an apartment complex that has a dog park and personally love to walk, therefore can walk as much as your pet needs.

About: I’ve been a lifelong animal lover and pet owner, with experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently share my home with my husband and three friendly dogs and two cats who love to socialize with new friends (as long as they are calm and polite around cats). Living on 5 beautiful acres, we have plenty of space for dogs to explore, play, and enjoy fresh air. There’s also a fenced area for safe outdoor time and a quiet room inside for pets who prefer their own space or need downtime away from others. I treat every pet as part of the family - providing personalized care, a comfortable environment, and lots of love and attention. Whether it’s an overnight stay or doggy daycare, I make sure each pet feels safe, happy, and right at home. I work from my home office, so I’m here throughout the day to give pets plenty of attention and supervision. My flexible schedule allows me to adjust to each pet’s normal routine - whether that means morning walks, midday playtime, or cozy afternoon naps. Dogs enjoy frequent outdoor time or inside play depending on the weather and their comfort level. While I do occasionally step away for short appointments, pets are never left alone for more than two hours at a time, and always in a safe, comfortable space. Your pets will get lots of love, care, and companionship - not just supervision, but genuine quality time. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. Cleanliness and safety are part of my daily routine: food and water are refreshed regularly, litter and waste are promptly managed, and all playtime is supervised. Your pets will enjoy a spacious, peaceful environment, balanced socialization, multi-pet expertise, personalized attention, flexible accommodations, and all-day care. I keep a close eye on each guests’ comfort, routine, and personality, ensuring they get the right mix of activity, affection, and rest. With me, your met will enjoy country-style play, cozy indoor time, and loving attention.
“Deborah was absolutely wonderful all the way around! I felt so comfortable leaving my big fur baby with her. She sent pictures and updates, and treated him like her own. I’m grateful he was able to play in a wide variety of settings, sleep comfortably, and even come home ready for a nap! This was my first time leaving him with someone, and I will absolutely come to Deborah first for the second time around. I feel comfortable using Rover as a whole starting out with such a positive experience. I would recommend her to anyone!”

“Kayla is a consummate professional whose kindness and love of animals is immediately apparent. She is a trustworthy, loving person who I would not hesitate to leave my two pups with again!”
