“I cannot say enough good things about Theresa and her family. The next time I am anywhere near the OBX, I will definitely be going back to Theresa. I found myself in a tough situation where I needed a very last minute dog sitter for my less than two-week old rescue pup, Lilah, who was also on meds at the time. As a new dog owner + an owner of a dog I didn't know that well, I was obviously very nervous to be leaving her. Upon arriving to her house, I could see that Theresa and her family would provide the highest care for Lilah and make her one of their own for the weekend—that they did and I'm pretty sure Lilah had the time of her life. Lilah has severe separation anxiety, EXTREMELY high energy as a young pit/boxer mix, and is still working on her dog socialization skills, but they were absolutely fantastic in working with all of her quirks and needs throughout the weekend. They also have an amazing, massive fenced in backyard that was perfect for her energy needs, and it was great that she got in some socialization with their sweet dogs. Their patience, attention, and care with Lilah left her a better pup then when I dropped her off. If you're anywhere near the OBX, Theresa is definitely the way to go.”

Your pet will have free range of the house (if comfortable) which features two large automatic litter boxes, 6ft scratching post with smaller scratching posts throughout the home, enrichment toys, beds, backyard views with plenty of wildlife to watch and two filtered water fountains available throughout the day. Both cats are on a feeding schedule, so your baby will also have to be on a schedule as well, I will work with you to figure out what times work best! All pets are vaccinated and spayed with regular checkups ups. Our dog is crate trained and does not wander the home without supervision. We will treat your baby like family and make any accommodations they will need to feel comfortable.

I have wiener dogs who are very social so it includes a socializing experience. I am experienced with deaf/ blind doggos and doggos with insulin shots. “This review comes a bit late, I apologize for not writing it sooner as I intended. I did want to make sure that pet owners that are in need of a dog sitter, to please consider Sabrina. We live in Maryland and we had to go to Virginia for a conference. We also wanted to take our pups with us so we didn't have to leave them back home. We decided to use Rover and this was our 1st time. I came across Sabrina's profile, read her reviews and had a peace about hiring her. We booked her back in mid July for mid September dates. Over the next few weeks, we kept referring to our pups as little ranch hands :-) . On the day of meeting, we were greeted by Sabrina's assistant Lauren and our dogs fell in love right away. “BOOCHI’S FIRST DAY AT DAYCARE 🐶 All I can say is WOW... I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter than Monti! When it comes to loving on your fur baby & making them feel at home away from home, Monti is an absolute ANGEL!!! When we first met for our meet and greet last week, it was abundantly clear that Monti and her husband truly love and understand dogs. At first, I was hesitant to book my pup, Boochi, for his first day at daycare because he tends to be a bit picky and kinda anxious sometimes, but Monti and her hubby made him feel completely at home right away – it was like Boochi was part of their family! ❤️ Yesterday was Boochi’s first day at daycare, and he was initially a little nervous when I dropped him off… he wasn't sure whether to follow me or stay with Monti. Fortunately, Monti is a PRO with dogs, and she was SO on top of his care plan – you can tell that she honestly loves and cares about the dogs she watches. From bringing out an entire room full of toys to streaming Boochi's fave comfort cartoon, Monti went MUCH further than the extra mile to make sure that he was comfortable and content… and did I mention how well-fed Boochi was? Not only did she make him his fave lunch, but she even sent him home with cheerios and some leftover chicken with broth! Throughout the day, Monti sent me adorable photos and videos, as well as regular updates with cute little stories about Boochi’s first day at daycare – which really put my mind at ease while I was away… it was clear that Boochi was bonding with Monti, having an awesome time, and getting LOTS of love, attention, and “sugars” (aka kisses). Later, when I arrived for pick-up, Boochi almost didn’t want to leave… he was happy, totally relaxed, and sorta tired from his fun, eventful day – which is always a good sign! In fact, Boochi barely ran over to me because he had become SO comfortable with Monti! Ultimately, Boochi’s first day at daycare couldn’t have gone better! I’m SO glad we found Monti and her husband, and we will definitely be booking again ASAP… it’s such a relief to know that we’ve finally found someone that we can trust with our baby boy! For anyone seeking a warm, caring, professional, and reliable sitter who goes above and beyond to treat your fur baby like family, I HIGHLY recommend booking with Monti… and don’t just walk – RUN!!! 🐾”

About: I have been taking car of all kinds of dogs for years. I've watched dogs from Labrador puppies to senior German Shepards. I've owned dogs my whole life and I've always had a special bond with them. Dogs usually gravitate towards me because I am a very fun and light hearted person. My friends often refer to me as a Disney princess because of how I am with animals. I belive all animals need love and respect and I always do my best to make them feel safe and loved. I am available Monday-Sunday starting at 10am til whenever I am needed I will follow whatever schedule you give to the letter. The average day would be breakfast in morning with a 30 min to an 1hr walk to give them all the time to digest and get that energy out. In the afternoon I will either play with them outside or go on another walk. In the evening is dinner and another walk or playtime so they can take that well deserved nap. In between those walks I will always be near and doting on your pet (unless they show discomfort) and making sure they get there potty breaks and water is filled. I couldn't imagine treating your pet anyless than my own.

My average hours are 8-12 am. I have volunteered at some shelters to care for some cats and dogs, and I am actually considering fostering. I just love pets but am not in a stable enough environment to keep one with being in the military and I could have to leave for months on end with no notice. I am very respectful, will follow any and all restrictions / directions, and I have great decision making. I will know what to do to keep your pet safe and happy. Any sort of extra care I have no issue providing I am very attentive and very respectful of not only your wishes but also your space if you invite me to your home. I am eager and excited to help as needed.

About: Ive had dogs just about all my life. I currently have a dog. He's an offleash dog so I am very familiar with training dogs to listen, using the bathroom outside, I also give baths. Walking for at least 30minute or until the pup gets tired. Go out first thing in the morning, Go out right after work, Replenish food bowl every morning, Fresh water every morning, Let them run around the backyard and get some sun every 2-4 hrs for 30m each. Bathe pup on Sunday. Fresh water daily, healthy food flow, safe and cozy place to lay, regular bathroom breaks, outside playtime, If bathed , allow them to air dry.

About: Hey! I am currently in school to be a vet! I can walk dogs 24/7 and give them all the loving! This would be a great way for me to expand my jobs with watching your dogs! I usually am up by 8am and spend most of the day with my dog while I do schooling at home. I’m mostly free of the day besides for leaving for work or getting my brother! “I cannot say enough good things about Theresa and her family. The next time I am anywhere near the OBX, I will definitely be going back to Theresa. I found myself in a tough situation where I needed a very last minute dog sitter for my less than two-week old rescue pup, Lilah, who was also on meds at the time. As a new dog owner + an owner of a dog I didn't know that well, I was obviously very nervous to be leaving her. Upon arriving to her house, I could see that Theresa and her family would provide the highest care for Lilah and make her one of their own for the weekend—that they did and I'm pretty sure Lilah had the time of her life. Lilah has severe separation anxiety, EXTREMELY high energy as a young pit/boxer mix, and is still working on her dog socialization skills, but they were absolutely fantastic in working with all of her quirks and needs throughout the weekend. They also have an amazing, massive fenced in backyard that was perfect for her energy needs, and it was great that she got in some socialization with their sweet dogs. Their patience, attention, and care with Lilah left her a better pup then when I dropped her off. If you're anywhere near the OBX, Theresa is definitely the way to go.”
