“Myra was great. Flexible with a quick pick up the day before, offered to see about a refund for the extra night, we declined the offer. The dogs both seemed happy and healthy when we picked them up. Thanks so much for the service and will definitely use again! Relieved to find a reliable dog sitter who is close to our home and she sends pictures while you are away from your pets... Those pictures assure you more than words can say. Thanks, again!”

“Jill was able to watch my two dogs last minute and they had so much fun! She took wonderful care of them and made sure they had plenty to do while they were there with her. ☺️”

“Brix did very well during her 2 week stay with Laura M. We were very pleased with Laura's knowledge of dog care and her attentiveness to our dog's personal needs. I found Laura to be very dependable, offering updates and even sending us photos periodically while we were away on vacation. Many thanks for a job well done, Laura!! Rover needs to make their booking services more user friendly. We had a few glitches with their program but Laura helped us straighten it out.”

“Dawn was amazing! She welcomed our two dogs into her home, allowing them space to become comfortable. Her dog was sweet and was patient with ours. She accommodated them with multiple potty breaks throughout the day and let them enjoy couch snuggles. We would recommend her anytime!”

“I booked this boarding stay last-minute, after our initial pet care plan fell through, but it really couldn’t have worked out better! Valentine and her family were so great with my pup, Rocky. They kept her safe and busy while my husband and I participated in a friend’s wedding festivities. I felt confident leaving Rocky with Valentine, and I would definitely book again if ever back in the area. She’s caring and knows what she’s doing with animals, for sure.”

“Excellent boarding experience. Karen has a wonderful and adventurous fenced in back yard for the dogs to sniff and roam and play. Received almost daily a picture or video of my dog on a different adventure. He received the attention he needs and it was overall a wonderful experience.....much, much better than taking him to a kennel that is side by side with other dogs and doesn't have the human interaction that my dog desperately craves and gets at our house. I will definitely use Karen again when the need arises.”

“Would definitely recommend Bethany to watch your fur baby! Miss Nova had a blast and my man heart was happy with the multiple pictures, videos and updates! I will definitely book with her for our next getaway!”

“Sherrie was awesome. She has a huge back yard and is very nice and personable. She sent pictures of Opie and kept me updated on how she was doing. It is abt a 40 minute drive but very much worth it. We will definitely be using her again”

“Best dog sitter we've ever had. Our dog seemed to love all the other animals and Tanya gave our dog Bummer extra attention. Bummer may have found a second home. Thank you so much!”

“Sparky really enjoyed his stay and we felt so assured that he was safe and having a great time. He looked like he was having so much fun in all the pictures that we were worried he wouldn’t want to come home!!”

“Wonderful, I love the convenience of having her pick him up and drop him off, he was worn out when he got home which is great, he got to burn off lots of energy, and she was a sweetheart, who had a long goodbye of kisses from Gucci”

“Kisa has been cat sitting our 3 felines for several years now and is excellent at what she does. She goes above and beyond and is a good communicator. I love the peace of mind I have knowing my kitties are well taken care of!”

“Tyanna was amazing! She met me and my dog Kaji beforehand which I very much appreciated. She updated me with many photos and videos of Kaji without me asking for them, which was also a bonus. I would absolutely trust her with my pets again and recommend her to others.”

About: I have had many different animals my entire life including cats, ferrets, chinchillas, chickens, ducks, hamsters, rabbits… In my 20’s I founded “Not Just Pets, Professional Pet Care”. In my 30’s I founded “Equine Specialist, Care and Training”. I had horses for over 30 years. I trained, showed, pleasure road, belonged to 3 horse clubs and eventually started my own 4-H club. I have bred and trained Boston Terriers and German Shepherds. Currently, I have 4 dogs that I rescued from a SC kill shelter. I have worked with Aly from Coal Mountain and Karen from Arcadia Animal Rescue’s. Both have been amazed by how well adjusted the four dogs have become considering how terrified they were in which no one else would take a chance on. Animals are my passion and greatest friends! I am currently taking an online course to become a Certified Canine Massage Therapist. I work for myself taking care of Seniors and animals. Relocated 04.07.2025 from Maine. I make my own schedule and am flexible to care for your furry family! Every situation can be different. Meeting with the client and their animals is important. I like to know about any vices, medications, vet info, where supplies are at, etc. Taking notes and leaving daily notes for each client keeps communication open and I find is appreciated.
“Andrea is truly a gem. While we were away on vacation, she stepped in to care for our beloved cats, Scooter and Miss Girl, and her dedication went far beyond our expectations. It was almost as if I were home myself her attention to detail, warmth, and understanding of their personalities mirrored the way I care for them every day. Andrea didn’t just check in she connected with them. She made sure Scooter felt safe and soothed, and gave Miss Girl the affection and routine she thrives on. I came home to two happy, relaxed cats who clearly felt loved and secure in my absence. Andrea’s care was thoughtful, intuitive, and deeply personal. As long as she’s offering her services, I will choose her every single time. She’s that good and my cats agree.”

“Summer was amazing! Our cats loved her gentle and caring personality, and we loved her reliability and communication. It was such a relief to have someone we trusted taking care of our kitties while we were out of town and we absolutely would book visits with Summer again. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our boys!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who grew up surrounded by pups and has always had dogs as part of my family. Currently, I have an Australian Shepherd and a Lab, so I’m very familiar with both high-energy playtime and laid-back cuddle sessions. I’ve also worked at pet boarding facilities, where I gained hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. From feeding routines to playtime and keeping pups comfortable while their owners are away, I truly understand what it takes to provide safe, loving care. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to offer reliable daily visits and walks. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family. I’d love to help keep your furry friend happy, active, and well cared for!
About: Hi, I'm Jenny. I'm so excited to meet & care for your loved ones. Animals have been at the center of my life for more than 20 years. I spent five years working with a humane society, assisting with adoptions, foster programs, and cruelty cases, and I have fostered countless cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies throughout the years. This experience has given me the skills to care for pets of all ages, personalities, and needs. Pet sitting is now my primary focus, allowing me to provide dependable care, flexible scheduling, and plenty of one-on-one attention. Whether your pet needs exercise, companionship, medication, or extra patience and support, I will tailor my care to their individual needs. I have experience administering medications and caring for senior and special-needs pets, who hold a special place in my heart. Friends often joke that I'm a "cat whisperer" because cats tend to warm up to me quickly, but I love dogs and cats equally. When your pet is in my care, you can expect reliable communication, compassion, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing they are receiving attentive, experienced care and plenty of love while you're away. I look forward to becoming your pet's next best friend! Since pet care is my full-time commitment. I'm available for daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday care. I dedicate my full attention, allowing me to be flexible and available when you and your pets need me. I can easily accommodate small dogs in my townhouse. I have a large deck to lounge around and plenty of areas to walk your pet & keep them safe. I offer flexible services to fit your pet's needs and your schedule, including drop-in visits, walks, playtime, feeding, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. I can accommodate cats and kittens in my home if needed; however, most cats are happiest and least stressed when cared for in their own environment. Staying in a familiar space helps them maintain their routine and feel secure while you're away.
“We’re expecting our first child so it was so important to find the right sitter to watch our fur baby! He had a great time I loved receiving the pictures. I can’t thank Jill and her family enough!!!”

About: I have extensive pet care experience, having owned and cared for two beloved dogs that each lived long, happy lives—one reaching 18 years and the other 20 years. Over the course of their lives, I gained hands-on experience with all aspects of dog care, including feeding routines, exercise, grooming, administering medications, and providing a nurturing, loving environment. I am very familiar with the needs of both young and senior dogs, including maintaining their health and comfort through all stages of life. Now that I am retired, I have plenty of time and flexibility to dedicate to caring for dogs. I am available to provide attentive pet sitting, ensuring that dogs under my care receive not only their basic necessities but also companionship, playtime, and affection. My focus is on keeping pets safe, happy, and comfortable, whether they need daily walks, special diets, or just someone to spend quality time with them. If you are looking for someone who will treat your dog like family, I bring years of experience, patience, and genuine love for animals to every pet sitting opportunity. Pet sitting fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine as a retiree. With flexible days, I can easily schedule visits, walks, and playtime around my personal errands and hobbies. Caring for pets gives structure to my mornings and afternoons, and it adds a joyful sense of purpose to my week. When I dog sit in my home or a client’s home, I focus on keeping the dogs happy, safe, and comfortable by following their usual routine for meals, walks, and rest. I always get detailed instructions from the owner, including feeding schedules, medications, and emergency contacts. I make sure they get plenty of exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation, and I monitor their health by watching their appetite, bathroom habits, and energy levels. I keep a clean and safe environment by securing doors and gates, cleaning up after them, and making sure water and food bowls are fresh. I also spend quality time giving them attention and affection, respect their personality and comfort level, and send regular updates to the owner. By staying attentive, organized, and caring, I provide a stress-free, positive experience for both the dogs and their owners.
About: I've had animals since I was a child and have taken care of them all of my adult life. I have personally fostered over 75 dogs through to their adoptions! I'm a trusted caregiver who can handle animals of all sizes, ages, abilities and temperaments! I love getting to know each animal's personality and how to best take care of them! With several dogs and a cat at home, I am always in pet care mode (and know how important it is to find a trusted sitter). Whether it is a drop-in or a boarding situation, I treat each pet like they are my own. (Also, our cat has his own "wing" of our home so he is not interacting with any visiting dogs.) Having fostered so many dogs, I recognize that each animal is unique and I enjoy getting to know their individual personalities and how to best care for them. Whether the animals are in my house or their own, I will follow the owners' instructions and manage expectations so there are as few surprises as possible. I know how worrisome it can be to leave your pet(s) in the care of another, and I pride myself on making sure the animals are taken care of and enjoy themselves.

I have a fenced in yard for my dogs and also walk them daily. They are crate trained and house trained as well. If the customer has a fenced in yard that is great and if not I do not mind going on walks or jogs with the dogs.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for more than 30 years, starting with pet sitting for neighbors when I was in elementary school. While attending college in Raleigh, I expanded my pet sitting work and cared for multiple families with a wide range of pets and personalities. Before moving back to this area, I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility, where I provided daily exercise, supervised play, administered medications—including insulin injections—and made sure each dog felt safe, comfortable, and cared for. My goal is simple: to give your pet dependable care, attention, and companionship while you’re away. Whether that means a walk, playtime, a midday potty break, or extra patience with senior pets, I treat every animal with the same kindness and attentiveness I’d want for my own. I understand that every pet has a different routine and comfort level, and I’m happy to follow your instructions closely so your pet feels secure, happy, and well cared for. I work remotely, so my daytime schedule is flexible and easy to plan around. My weekly routine is generally very consistent, which means I know my availability well in advance and can provide dependable walks, drop-in visits, and midday care without last-minute surprises. Pet care fits naturally into my day—I’m able to step away for walks, potty breaks, playtime, feeding, or medication visits while still keeping a reliable schedule for both pets and their owners. At this time, I’m not able to offer boarding in my home, but I take caring for pets in their own environment seriously. When I’m in your home, I treat it with the same care and respect I would expect in my own. I always make sure doors are secure, water bowls are fresh, and pets are safe and comfortable before I leave. I also pay attention to small details—cleaning up any messes, checking that toys are safe, and moving anything that could pose a risk (for example, a torn stuffed toy that could be chewed apart). One of the best compliments I’ve received from a client came after a week-long house sit: they told me, “It never even looked like you were here.” That’s exactly the experience I aim to provide—reliable, attentive care for your pet, and complete peace of mind for you.

About: I have owned, grown up with, and taken care of animals since I could walk. The day that I was honorably discharged from the Navy, I actually went and picked up my Pitty MIx from the shelter and we were best friends for the best 11 years. Animals are misunderstood in so many different ways, and require patience, attention to detail, and most importantly love. I am very driven, schedule oriented, can multitask, and observant in everything that I do. I have a reliable source of transportation, my own home in Morganton, and will always be just a phone call/text away. I have taken care of all age ranges from puppies to senior dogs, because I have owned dogs from birth until their final days. Its not the easiest thing some days but it is the most rewarding. I work a full time job Monday through Thursday 0600-1630, and off on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Pet care fits into my routine because I have a dog of my own that requires daily walks and interactions with others at daycare. I have a fenced in back yard, that I am able to watch from at all times. My dog is allowed on the furniture and also goes with me on car rides. My dog is everything to me and is reflective of that in my pride with other animals. They're family!
About: I have owned dogs my entire life and have always been responsible in caring for them. I have worked with rescues and currently work for a training facility. I have years of handling experience, kennel experience, and dog sitting experience. I have self trained my own dogs and will play/ train with your dogs when they are with me (if you’d like). Your dogs with be treated with the same love that I have for my own! I am comfortable with all breeds and put safety first while your dog is in my care. Pictures and videos will be provided while your dog is in my care. Thank you so much for reading and feel free to contact me for all of your dogs needs.

“Iliana took great care of our dog while we were away! She was even available to drop back in when we were unexpectedly delayed getting home. We'll book her again for our future pet sitting needs!”

About: Hi there! I’ve had the privilege of working at the McDowell County Animal Shelter, where my passion for animals truly began to grow. That love for pets later led me to become a doggy daycare attendant in Wilmington. Over the last few years, I’ve really enjoyed meeting new people, spending time with pets, and making lasting connections through Rover. With hands-on experience in walking, feeding, playtime, and giving lots of love, I’m dedicated to making sure every pet in my care feels safe, happy, and comfortable. ⏰ My Schedule: I work a 9–5 during the week, but I’m available for before/after work visits or overnight stays—and my weekends are completely free for pet sitting, walks, and extra snuggles. Clients often tell me their pets look happy and relaxed in the photos and videos I send. I believe animals can feel when they are genuinely loved, and that’s the kind of care I bring to every visit. Under my care, your pets will always have: ✔ Fresh food and clean water ✔ Regular walks and exercise ✔ Plenty of cuddles, play, and attention ✔ Memorable photo and video updates 📸 My promise is simple: to treat your pets like family and give you peace of mind while you’re away.🐶🐾🐱 Caring for pets is a natural part of my daily routine. I make sure they have healthy food, clean water, exercise, and a comfortable space to relax. During the week, I’m available for before and after work visits, and on weekends I’m completely free to provide longer stays, walks, and extra attention. Pet care fits easily into my schedule because I truly enjoy it—it doesn’t feel like work, it feels like quality time with a furry friend. When I care for pets—whether in my home or in a client’s—I focus on creating a safe, loving, and comfortable environment. I make sure they always have fresh food, clean water, exercise, and plenty of affection. My goal is simple: for you to feel completely confident that your furry family member is safe, loved, and well taken care of while you’re away.
About: When you’re away, you want your cat cared for by someone who truly understands them. I totally get that. I’m a proud cat mom to my sweet boy, Doogan, and I know firsthand how stressful it can be to leave your feline family behind. After trying boarding, I realized that Doogan (like most cats) is happiest and most relaxed in the comfort of his own home. That’s why I specialize in in-home cat check-ins, giving your kitty the care, attention, and comfort they deserve without disrupting their routine. Whether you prefer daily or twice daily visits, I’ll stop by to feed, play, clean up and send you photo or video updates so you can see your cat is happy and well cared for. You can count on me to be reliable, responsible, and genuinely loving toward your pet, because I’ll care for your cat the same way I care for my own. Pet care fits easily into my routine.

“Kara was so good with my pup Koda! She sent lots of pictures and videos during her stay. Kara walked her everyday like I do so she still had some normalcy. She made sure Koda was comfortable! I’m sure Koda will be excited to stay again with her. 10/10 recommend!”

I would love to snuggle and care for your dog. My hours are very flexible to suit your needs. I regularly walk dogs out doors and give them much attention. In my neighborhood all dogs will be kept on a leash as per the law.
About: Hi! I have 5+ years of professional animal care experience between working in a canine boarding facility then in veterinary medicine. I've been fortunate enough to love and care for a variety of pets all the way from fish and lizards to turkeys and goats. I understand that leaving our precious animals in the care of a stranger can be quiet nerve wracking. You can rest assured that when your pet is in my care they'll be treated as if they're my own. I currently work 3 days a week at a veterinary ER. I have availability for drop-in visits before or after work as well as almost any time on my days off. My veterinary experience, personal pet experience, and numerous certificates in the animal field allow me to thoroughly care for your pet(s). I am confident in offering services as simple as litter box changes all the way up to special needs medical pet sitting.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have experience caring for all sizes and breeds, including walking, bathing, feeding, and spending quality time with them. From a young age, I developed a strong love and respect for animals and really value the bond between pets and their people. In college and through work, friends and coworkers often trusted me to watch their dogs because I’m dependable and genuinely enjoy being around them. I live an active lifestyle, especially on weekends, and my apartment is right by the 4-mile Lyle Creek Trail, which is great for walks and exercise. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I truly enjoy being around them and love that pet sitting lets me experience all the best parts of having a dog—without them ever missing out on care, attention, or exercise. I work Monday–Friday with a very flexible schedule and live just 5 minutes from work, so I’m able to step away when needed for pet care. I’m available for boarding after 3 PM on Fridays, all day Saturday, and during the day on Sundays, with pickup by 7 PM Sunday evening. I’m also happy to help with dog pickup and drop-off when needed. On weekdays, I’m available before 8 AM and after 4:30 PM, and I can also accommodate walks and drop-in visits throughout the day to ensure pets receive reliable, consistent care. In my home or a client’s home, I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while sticking closely to their normal routines. If a dog is crate-trained or needs a crate for safety or comfort, I’m able to crate them as needed. I provide regular walks, feeding on schedule, and plenty of attention based on each pet’s energy level and needs. I’m also available for overnight stays, making sure pets are cared for throughout the night and maintain a consistent routine. While I don’t have a fenced-in yard since I live in an apartment, I make up for that with access to plenty of open space and nearby trails, which are great for exercise and walks. Safety is always my priority, and I make sure pets are supervised, secure, and well taken care of whether we’re inside or out.
“Our Hubble is already counting the days until his next stay with Taylor! He is a bit timid, but warmed up quickly to Taylor. He also made fast friends with her 2 dogs and her cats. Taylor gave us daily updates and pictures so we were able to relax and enjoy our time away. Hubble often misses meals when he is away from us but he only missed a couple during his 6 days with Taylor, that says a lot about his comfort level with her and her pets! We highly recommend and will use Taylor again!”

“Christopher is the best boarder we have ever known. Our dogs were so happy to meet him and were full of joyous energy when we went to pick them up. We could tell he had taken such good care of our two doodles. We highly recommend Christopher for any dog needs you have.”
