About: Growing up I have always had a dog. My older brother ran a dog training business on our farm after training dogs for the military. Due to this I was introduced to many different types of dogs and their personalities. Growing up he taught me the basics to training dogs and how to adapt to the dogs personality. About: I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, donkeys, pigs, fish, and the occasional duck or goose. I was responsible for a lot of their care before and after school, and I worked as a kennel technician for a couple of years. Currently I work on Duke’s campus with sick dogs in the pediatric department. I also just love animals! I’m good at attention to detail, cleaning up after pets, feeding/watering/medicating, and walking. I’m comfortable with any and all kinds of pets. I am a student, so I would be available for pet care before/at 12:30pm and after 4:30pm on week days, and available all day on weekends. I can also spend nights as needed. I am not able to keep pets in my dorm as it is against university policy but I would be more than happy to commute or spend nights for house/petsitting. I have done so before, and I do very well with this. I find it to be a fun experience

During the five days Rebekah cared for our girls, we received updates twice a day, always with great photos and videos. For the last year and a half I have built a very nice reputation as a dependable and loving pet sitter. I have watched dogs, cats and birds! We will also go for nice walks down to the river where our road ends and a trail leads out to the river. My two main borders often do not want to leave or they want to come back home with me. It’s a great spot for dogs, whether they need to be leashed or not. If I am staying at your house I will always follow their normal routine. I really like for my clients to leave a note with food instructions, treat instructions, medicine, and daily routine. I also like to have a just incase number (neighbor or family member in the area) and the veterinarian. I prefer Havelock clients for in house sitter jobs. If you need a lot of check ins I would rather keep your fur baby at my house, to avoid charging more for gas. I care for pets in their homes based on the guidelines the owners set out. I will always check their food and water bowls, walk or play outside and bathroom break.
About: I recently moved to the area and have a flexible schedule. In my family, we have always had dogs from small to big. I have provided care for them and often watch after dogs for friends and family. Having a flexible schedule allows me to provide a lot of attention to your loved animal. I have a love for dogs and will enjoy spending time, playing with them and treat them as if they were one of my own. I am very active so dog walks/runs can be done as often as needed. About: -Personally, I have been caring for pets for 18 years. Pit mixes, reptiles, and felines. The first words most people would use to describe me would be "animal lover"! -Professionally, I have veterinary and animal handling experience. I worked as a Licensed Veterinary Technician Assistant between college and graduate school, which gave me experience with administering medication, pet safety,checking vital signs, soothing anxious pets, basic grooming, etc. I also spent two years in grad school walking dogs,boarding, and doing check-ins with "Wag!" which I thoroughly enjoyed! Professionally, I am a biologist and have a working knowledge of animal physiology -I have personally mothered and treated a Heartworm Positive dog, so I am well-versed in caring for a pup currently undergoing that! With my current seasonal position coming to an end, I expect to have a wide open schedule for the next few months. I am a pretty early riser, but can be flexible It is priority to make sure that your pet is as comfortable as possible while missing you! I choose to not use a crate with my dog, but can with yours if you prefer that. I'm very active and like to ensure that animals get as much activity and enrichment as they like. I am very big on sending lots of photos and video updates on your pet throughout the day!

About: I’ve taken care of multiple animals throughout my life, such as dogs, cats, lizards, snakes, ducks, and chickens. I’m very reliable and will make sure to follow directions on how you want your animal taken care of. I am currently a student and have a part time job, but I also have a lot of free time on my hands making this type of job perfect for me. I grew up around cats and dogs growing up and care deeply for animals. For animals I board I like to do a meet and greet to let your animal get to know an unfamiliar place with you there. About: Growing up I have always had a dog. My older brother ran a dog training business on our farm after training dogs for the military. Due to this I was introduced to many different types of dogs and their personalities. Growing up he taught me the basics to training dogs and how to adapt to the dogs personality. Therefore I am able to care for all types of dogs and any of their needs. I am currently working full time; however, I am able to care for pets on weekdays anytime after 5pm. I am available 24/7 on weekends. I am able to care for any pet in any environment. Whether your pet runs free in a fenced in area or not. I also have no problem when it comes to putting pups in their crate.
About: Have had dogs all my life all different breeds. Care for them all like they are my own! My golden is my best friend and I give him my full attention all the time I work when I can/ want so I have full attention for your pet. Can be week days or weekends.
