About: I've always lived with dogs and cats growing up. Dogs are my sanctuary from people. I joke that in my line of social work I go to the houses to see the people but stay to play with the dog. I have experience administering medication (in pill form, liquid, and gel) to both dogs and cats, even when they don’t want to take it. If there is any special care that your animal needs, I would be more than happy to quickly and efficiently learn and adapt to care for your animal the way they deserve. I am currently job searching, so I will be free almost every weekday with exception for surprise obligations that my family often come to me with. I am not available on the weekends, including friday for various extraneous responsibilities. When I first meet an animal, I get down to their level and extend my hand just enough to offer it as an option for them to investigate, but not enough to shove it it their face. I wait until the dog or cat engages with me before I try to pet them on my own to ensure that they feel comfortable and safe. If your animal has separation anxiety, I would be more than happy to comfort them with calming words and gentle hands for pets and snuggles. I will only feed or give your animal a treat if I am told to do so or given the okay beforehand as I do not want to over feed them or give them a treat you have bought without consent.

About: I've always lived with dogs and cats growing up. Dogs are my sanctuary from people. I joke that in my line of social work I go to the houses to see the people but stay to play with the dog. I also enjoy being active and playing around so dogs can get their energy out. Cats, although some people don't like them, are also fun for me. I love playing with them and letting them snuggle. I know all pets have different personalities and I intend to like them all I currently work full time as a social worker. I'm able to drop in/walk before and after work and occasionally on lunch depending on where you are located. Weekends are fully open for me most days so im able to help out as much as possible with cats or dogs My current dog gets walked several times a day in our large yard. We provide her with many toys and slow feeding bowls/ games to keep her mind active. She's fed 2 times a day and of course is spoiled with treats here and there. I successfully crate trained my pup and it's her go to spot for anxiety.
