“July 2017 was the first time I used Rover. A specific dog sitter was recommended by a friend. I registered on the site, managed to locate the sitter my friend suggested and set up a meet and greet. The sitter was great and helped me find Norma, located in the same area. Norma and I connected and set up a meet and greet. She was very patient with me and my dog who isn't around other dogs often. Although easy going and calm, my dog's behavior was unknown and unpredictable around other dogs. He's easily excited around other dogs at times. Norma and I wanted to make sure the long stay (10+ days) would be a good fit for everyone. During the stay, Norma provided updates daily. She sent status reports along with pictures and asked questions to determine how to get the desired reaction from my dog or to find out what she could do to mimic our home routine. Norma was also flexible with pick up, drop off times and easily agreed to a one day extension. She's a true dog lover and treated my dog as one of her own.”

A usual day involves: potty time, feed time, 30min settlement for food, then leisure time. After 2hrs of their food break they will go out potty and then again every two hours after that. I do have some experience training dogs (although not a professional) this engages them and allows for mental stimulation. I am home fulltime and can provide continuous care for your friend! I enjoy playing with them in the backyard or in the house. Love to take them for walks if that is what is preferred. Keeps us both healthy. I love cuddling with them on the couch and petting them. They are such great company and love the loyalty they provide. I love all kinds of dogs they are smart and curious little guys. They must be taken to a vet to keep up with their shots and health. I don't like to feed them from the table and I always read articles on what is or what isn't good for them. I am home and I can be with your pet 24/7. I enjoy sitting and cuddling with the fur babies and sometimes my grandson who is 18 comes to visit he loves animals and just plays with them and will cuddle with them. I usually give the pet free range of the home and they usually love the freedom. I also allow them to watch tv dog shows. Lol

About: I've grown up with animals all my life. Im comfortable with anything, from cats to all sizes of dogs. My family currently owns six dogs and six cats, ranging from elderly to special needs, so I'm definitely up-to-date on my skills! I've worked as a veterinary technician assistant for a emergency veterinary clinic so I'm comfortable with administering medications including under the skin injections and pills. Depending on the temperament of dog (or cat!) I'm more than willing to provide a pedicure during my stay! I also aim to provide check-in's and walks in addition to overnight care. I'm disabled and unable to work a normal 9-5, but your pet will recieve top quality care and plenty of attention. That being said, my schedule is very flexible. For most if not all jobs I'm available seven days a week with Thursdays and Sundays being my most tricky. Mid-mornings to early afternoons normally work better for me for check-ins and walks. I'm disabled and unable to work a normal 9-5 job, but I can guarantee top quality care. Whether it's hanging out at home or getting a pup cup, I'll be sure to update you regularly. Any rules or boundaries will be respected during long stays and I will pick up after both myself and your pet.

About: I have been a cat and dog lover and pet parent throughout my adult life. When I lived in Washington, I worked full time at a dog daycare and overnight boarding ranch in Snohomish. I also have a lot of experience petsitting and housesitting for family and friends. A few years ago, I job-shadowed a full time in-home pet sitter. All in all, I really enjoy spending time with critters and I look forward to meeting you and your critters! I am comfortable handling/administering medications to pets. I love to walk and hike with my dog. I would love to take your dog along to explore the trails if you think that's something your dog would enjoy. I have a fully fenced, partially shaded back yard. I currently have a small dog and 5 cats that your dog would need to be compatible with.
About: I love dogs and have enjoyed working with them in many capacities since I was a child and formally for over 15 years. I am a Canine Good Citizen evaluator and have spent years training loving companions. I am certified in Canine CPR and First Aid by the American Red Cross and undergo annual recertifications to stay current on the latest first-aid procedures. I also have experience administering both oral medications and injections. Before your pups stay, we have each family fill out a form for their furry companion. This helps us get to know them better in order to make their stay easier. I have no breed preference and are familiar with handling working canines. Your pup is welcome in our home, and our couch is open to your furry pooch. However, I also understand there are dogs who prefer to be outside and are not easily accommodated indoors. I also have covered outdoor runs for those families who still need a vacation but whose pups enjoy more fresh air and natural surroundings. I am happy to accommodate each family's preference. No matter what, canines are treated to lots of exercise and playtime. I wake up and start the day off with morning let out. After each group has been let we come back in for feeding. Morning feedings normally allow for 30-45 minutes before letting out again for a potty break. They are brought back in, crated, and pups are rotated out for play inside throughout the day. I let out every 2-4 hours through the day or more if needed. I do have the option to add on trail walks for those who have social canines who are good with other dogs and people (I will not be introducing them to others but it is a requirement to the trail). In the evening we normally do the last feeding at 7 pm followed by yard play and starting to settle in. Last potty break is at 10 pm. Note: Although I am at home full time I do on occasion leave our home to run errands. Your dog can be left alone for up to 4 hours (max). If this is ever the case your pup will always be crated and secure. For your pup's safety They are never given free rein while unsupervised. I take the safety of your furry companion very seriously. Canines are let out for potty breaks every 2-4 hours (or as needed, if required more frequently). I have a fenced-in yard so your pup will be safe during potty breaks. I do not allow companions from other families to play with each other. This is a safety measure. Your pup can be under a lot of stress when you're gone and I want to make their stay as smooth and relaxing as possible. This doesn't mean I will not be playing with your pup ourselves! I love playing fetch, puzzle games, and even tug with them. I do allow for several outings in the house throughout the day so they can get plenty of one-on-one attention inside as well as extra pets. I have 5 acres that are attached to the national preserve. If your furry companion is social and enjoys walks, I have several trails I am happy to take them on upon request (weather permitting). All outings are on leash only.

We have a friendly Goldendoodle to keep your fur baby company. We also take daily walks and would be happy to bring your dog along with us. We have a medium sized crate if your dog needs to be crated, or they can sleep in a dog bed.

About: I have owned and cared for a wide variety of animals for over 30 years—my own as well as clients’ and employers’. Knowledgeable, responsible, and compassionate pet care is what I’m all about! I’m a mom with more time on my hands now that my girls are older. My general availability is Friday through Sunday, but sometimes other days open up as well. I currently have 3 horses and 3 cats of my own but have loved many dogs and other animals in the past! Free during lunch hours Monday- Wed 12:30-2 and Tuesday-Thursday 1-3, afternoons during the week or weekends to take pups on walks and enjoy the outdoors! I currently can not offer my personal living quarters for care, however I am able to travel up to 40 miles to stay with or check on pets. If you are in need of someone urgently and live outside a 40 mile radius please message me directly and I may be able to still work with you! I will walk, feed, stay with, play with and care for various cats and dog breeds! I also have experience with tropical birds and fish if need be. I will clean up after all animals and leave your home tidy and neat, as well as provide updates at your desired time span i.e (Daily, Hourly, Etc.).
About: I do have some training in my pocket but definitely not a professional I’ve trained all of my dogs that I’ve had they did great I am available whenever I am needed on sundays I’ll be at church but after that I’m free I have my own car so I’m reliable I can care for pets in the clients home how ever they need me to I follow instructions very well and will do what I am needed to do or asked to do

Although easy going and calm, my dog's behavior was unknown and unpredictable around other dogs. He's easily excited around other dogs at times. Norma and I wanted to make sure the long stay (10+ days) would be a good fit for everyone. During the stay, Norma provided updates daily. About: I have always watched all my families fur babies. They have been well loved just as my own. I’m always watching training videos on dog behavior as to be ready at all times and recognizing when to step in. I’m a stay at home mom so I’m always home majority of my days unless I’m running errands. So they are in my care at all times. I love to send videos and pictures to keep everyone updated. So I’m hoping to love on your fur-babies soon. I’m a stay at home mom. So I’m home almost all of my days unless I’m out running an errand or out with my sister doing an activity with my kids. But most of my days consist of being at home. I don’t have a fenced in yard but I have a really big back yard and open front yard and woods. We are back in the corner of the woods. I also have 2 big dogs that will help guide your dog on how to do things. I also have a crate if need be for a large breed dog if that’s something they are use too.
