About: Hello, I'm Allison. I love animals. I started taking care of my family's pets when I was 4 years old. Animals play a huge part in my life, especially dogs. I'm a proud owner of a mix breed (Chance) and two other dogs(Loki and Prada. Who are all rescues. Chance was rescued off the side of the road with a minor head injury. Loki was rescued from a litter of pups, where he was the runt that nobody wanted. Prada was rescued from a "homeless", who could not care for her. As a caretaker my duties at the sanctuary require demanding physical labor, housekeeping, and responsibilities of supervision over animals and other volunteers. About: Hi! My name is Jade and I am an avid dog enthusiast and college student. I currently own a 1 year old Australian Shepherd and boy oh boy does he have energy. Before him I had another Aussie (female) who acquired cancer around 7-8years old, because of this I have sadly become very skilled with working with sick/hurting dogs. I also love to train dogs, my current Aussie has a Novice Trick Dog title from AKC and we are working on his intermediate title while learning Conformation skills and Therapy dog skills. About: I have been a veterinary nurse at an AAHA accredited hospital for the last 6 years, and prior to that, worked at an additional hospital as well as a pet store with exotics. I am more than comfortable administering any method of medication, and taking care of your medical needs, special needs, or senior fur babies. “We left our dog Molly with Kay and Zada after she didn’t get along with another dog on our trip. So the stay was very last minute and we were very anxious about the situation. Kay and Zada were both so sweet and accommodating that we felt a ton of relief leaving Molly with them. Our dog can be temperamental when first meeting a new dog and Zada rolled with her style! Kay was also very obviously comfortable with and knowledgeable about dog behavior and body language. We really appreciated how she worked to make sure we were all comfortable before we left. Kay let Molly play with some of Zada’s toys and offered to give her Zada’s food as well! Zada was very cool with Molly laying on her bed and playing with her toys - she is such a cool dog! When we picked our dog up, she was being very lovey with Zada and gave Kay lots of attention. This made it obvious that Kay took amazing care of our dog and that she and Zada became good buddies! We cannot recommend Kay and Zada enough, they are an amazing duo! Communication was great and Kay was so flexible with our schedule! We will be leaving our dog with them anytime we’re in the area!”
