“Ronald and his family are incredible. We left our dog Daisy for the very first time in his care this past week and she loved it there. My wife was very apprehensive, and that’s an understatement, about leaving Daisy with anyone. Ron sent us pictures and updates every day we were away and we could tell she was having a great time. His fenced in yard gave Daisy lots of room to run and play safely with the other dogs and is the perfect setup for dog sitting. Ronald loves dogs and knows how to care for them. We felt that he treated Daisy, not just as a dog to care for, but also as one of the family. You can tell dog sitting is a labor of love for Ronald and his family. After this trip we are booking Ronald to watch Daisy for 4 more trips we have planned this year. With my background as a fully insured certified dog trainer, professional groomer, and former veterinary assistant, I’m able to provide a higher level of care than a typical sitter. I’m comfortable working with puppies who need structure and training reinforcement, as well as senior pets who may require extra patience, mobility support, or medication. I also provide regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. About: I have cared for animals all my life, growing up on a 20 acre farm. I have been a reliable pet/ farm sitter for over 10 years. I am passionate about animals, rescuing, rehabbing and rehoming 21 dogs in the past 3 years. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays. Tuesdays- Thursdays, I am available after 1 pm to walk/ care for dogs outside of my home. In my home, dogs are left for, at most, 5 hours in CRATES. About: When I was a kid I would walk my neighborhoods dog. I baby sit my sisters dog often and I had an ESA (Emotional Support Animal) but she passed away in July. I currently still have my 8 year old St.Dane but he can’t do much these days because of how old he is. I’d like to be more active and teach my kids responsibility and hard work. Just looking to help someone in my spare time is all. I had 2 dogs but one of them unfortunately recently passed. We love and spend time with our big guy. He’s my kids best friend.
About: I have a 2 legged cat and I’ve had him since he was a baby. He requires a little extra care every day and it’s so worth it. Every night he lays on my lap and makes biscuits and I enjoy every minute of it. I’ve decided to pet sit full time and enjoy loving on as many animals as long as I can. I have several animals of my own, cats and dogs. What better way to make money doing what you love ❤️ I clean out my cat boxes twice a day. After they are fed in the evenings I play with my cats for a while. I put my dogs outside in my fenced in yard to go potty and then I play ball with them. My doodles favorite thing to do! Then I bring them in the house to eat and cuddle on the couch.

Unfortunately some of my dogs were not socialized enough and they are not that friendly with other dogs. That is why I would rather take care of your pets from your home. I have also dog sat enough to know that when you bring a dog into a new environment they can become extremely stressed and anxious and they might not eat for days or until there owner comes home. That is why I feel it is better and easier to watch and care for your animals from your home. It will be easier for them and me.

“Rachel is AMAZING!! This was my first time boarding my pups (one with anxiety) and using Rover. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. 11/10 experience! We did a meet and greet ahead of time, which was super helpful. She has a wonderful setup! A nice, large, fenced-in yard for them to run around and play. The upper deck is perfect for my pups looking out over the yard and resting in the sun. Rachel is a fantastic communicator sending multiple updates, pics and videos throughout the day. With my permission, the dogs were allowed on the couch and provided lots of cuddles and she even slept in the spare room with them (just like home). For my pup with anxiety, she moved slow and gave her time to adjust and settle. My babies got all the play, love and attention they are used to (plus a little more) 😊😊 Also, Rachel was very flexible with me for drop-off and pickup as we were going out of town.
