About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! Growing up, I was surrounded by all kinds of pets—from dogs and cats to hamsters and rats—and I’ve always loved caring for animals. I’ve also had the opportunity to foster kittens and gain hands-on experience with a variety of pets. My mom was a veterinary technician for 30 years, so I grew up learning a lot about animal care, behavior, and what it means to keep pets happy and healthy. At 18, I started my own pet-sitting business back home in Connecticut. When I moved out of state, I left the business behind, but I’ve always wanted to get back into pet sitting—and now feels like the perfect time! I currently have two cats and two ball pythons of my own. My schedule is also very flexible right now, which means I’m able to give your pets plenty of time, attention, and care. About: I’ve had cats in my family since I was young and have cared for cats with very different personalities. I’m comfortable with friendly, social cats, but I also understand that some cats need time to warm up to a new person. I have experience with timid or nervous cats and won’t force attention or interaction if they aren’t comfortable. I’m also comfortable following special feeding routines, giving medications as instructed, cleaning litter boxes, providing playtime, and making sure they get plenty of attention in whatever way they prefer. Some cats want you to play with them for an hour, while others would prefer you quietly exist in the same room while they judge you from across the house. I’m good with either.

“My boyfriend and I went to myrtle beach for a little weekend get away before we started up college again. We decided to take our dog, haezel with us, because she’d never been on a trio or saw the beach before. Sunday was our last day to finish up our plans before we had to leave, so we looked for a sitter. I searched and searched and searched for hours, until we ran into this sweet lady. We had been looking for a sitter since 9am, at this point it was 2pm and Ms.Debra was the most amazing life saver. She met us at a half way point and she was able to keep haezel for the rest of the day. She was constantly messaging me, letting me know how haezel was doing while we were away and even sending picture updates. That was the first time I’d ever left my dog for a long period of time, and Ms.Debrs definitely helped sooth my anxiety.”

I work in a hospital three days a week. So I have four days completely free to take care of your pets. My bestfriend lives with me as well and is always around to help. There’s always someone home. I’ve served 5 years active duty navy and currently in the reserves so I do have common sense and can read and follow directions with precision. I work with dogs and their families on obedience, leash skills, everyday manners, and behavior challenges. About: I have always had a rapport with animals. They are drawn to me and they know they will be loved and protected when I am around them. I am also a licensed massage therapist. My work schedule is very easy to work around. I am available all hours of the evening and several hours during the daytime. When I'm with an animal I give them undivided attention. About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! Growing up, I was surrounded by all kinds of pets—from dogs and cats to hamsters and rats—and I’ve always loved caring for animals. I’ve also had the opportunity to foster kittens and gain hands-on experience with a variety of pets. My mom was a veterinary technician for 30 years, so I grew up learning a lot about animal care, behavior, and what it means to keep pets happy and healthy. At 18, I started my own pet-sitting business back home in Connecticut. When I moved out of state, I left the business behind, but I’ve always wanted to get back into pet sitting—and now feels like the perfect time!
