I’m happy to specialize each experience for max comfort for your pup. I have a remote job and am flexible with scheduling around your pups needs. “Kristin was absolutely wonderful with O'Malley while we were away in Tennessee! This was the longest I had ever been away from him, and I was definitely a nervous dog mom. She kept me updated with pictures and messages throughout the weekend, which made it so much easier to enjoy our trip knowing he was in such good hands. O'Malley had a fantastic time and was clearly loved and cared for like one of her own. Kristin was kind, dependable, and communication was excellent from start to finish. Also, I packed O'Malley like he was heading off to summer camp with enough supplies for a month! complete with his own backpack full of toys, wipes, treats, grooming supplies, and labeled meals. 😂 Kristin was so prepared and attentive that she barely needed half of it! It just showed me how capable and experienced she is. “BOOCHI’S FIRST DAY AT DAYCARE 🐶 All I can say is WOW... I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter than Monti! When it comes to loving on your fur baby & making them feel at home away from home, Monti is an absolute ANGEL!!! When we first met for our meet and greet last week, it was abundantly clear that Monti and her husband truly love and understand dogs. At first, I was hesitant to book my pup, Boochi, for his first day at daycare because he tends to be a bit picky and kinda anxious sometimes, but Monti and her hubby made him feel completely at home right away – it was like Boochi was part of their family! ❤️ Yesterday was Boochi’s first day at daycare, and he was initially a little nervous when I dropped him off… he wasn't sure whether to follow me or stay with Monti. Fortunately, Monti is a PRO with dogs, and she was SO on top of his care plan – you can tell that she honestly loves and cares about the dogs she watches. From bringing out an entire room full of toys to streaming Boochi's fave comfort cartoon, Monti went MUCH further than the extra mile to make sure that he was comfortable and content… and did I mention how well-fed Boochi was? Not only did she make him his fave lunch, but she even sent him home with cheerios and some leftover chicken with broth! Throughout the day, Monti sent me adorable photos and videos, as well as regular updates with cute little stories about Boochi’s first day at daycare – which really put my mind at ease while I was away… it was clear that Boochi was bonding with Monti, having an awesome time, and getting LOTS of love, attention, and “sugars” (aka kisses). Later, when I arrived for pick-up, Boochi almost didn’t want to leave… he was happy, totally relaxed, and sorta tired from his fun, eventful day – which is always a good sign! In fact, Boochi barely ran over to me because he had become SO comfortable with Monti! Ultimately, Boochi’s first day at daycare couldn’t have gone better! I’m SO glad we found Monti and her husband, and we will definitely be booking again ASAP… it’s such a relief to know that we’ve finally found someone that we can trust with our baby boy! For anyone seeking a warm, caring, professional, and reliable sitter who goes above and beyond to treat your fur baby like family, I HIGHLY recommend booking with Monti… and don’t just walk – RUN!!! 🐾”

About: I have been a babysitter for over 20 years. Most of the families I worked with had pets, dogs or cats. I have had cats of my own over the years but now I help my mom take care of her 2 dogs. I recently moved to Newport News so I have a completely open schedule. I am already cooking fresh food for my mom's dogs and walking them regularly. Come join us. I prepare meals for my mom's dogs weekly. I research foods they can and cannot have to make sure they are happy and healthy. I also walk them 3 times a day minimum. There is a dog park on the premises but they mostly just sniff around :).

We have two daughters (17 & 15) and one son (10). *I’ve recently updated this profile to include the following: As an owner to two small dogs myself, I understand the worry and anxiety of leaving my small, fragile, pup, in the care of others who may have larger dogs coming and going where an accident can happen. However, if you are a prior client, I will accept your larger dog (they’ve all been wonderful and fine because of my judgement at meet and greet) and in addition any future clients who have a small dog/big dog combo, I will consider a meet and greet to verify we would be a good fit and will make exceptions on a case by case. All three get along with ALL animals, strays, neighbor’s yorkies’, neighbors dogs, etc. We have two acres of yard with a fenced in area that has a dog house, goat house, tree house, etc. which is where he stays. We are an animal loving family. No young kids that harm or hurt in any way. Your pets are guaranteed a “spoiled rotten” experience for sure. Schedule We are home most of the time. We let the pups run around and play inside. We prefer inside dogs over outside dogs, but will take the dogs outside many, many times to walk, run, and play. Just I inform us of their home habits of how often they like to go out. Safety, trust & environment- I am highly protective over the dogs well being. Safety and emotionally. We use leashes when walking/running your dog and to let them out to use the bathroom. Dogs are fed at separate locations to ensure no jealousy and fights. Not to mention stolen food and a hungry pup. The dogs we sit for sleep in the master bedroom. We sleep with the door shut. This is to ensure we can always have eyes and ears on your pup. No accidents or trouble to get into. They seem to like having the constant company around them, even if we are asleep, they know they’re not alone.

About: I have worked at a veterinary office for the past 9 years as a kennel tech and a veterinary assistant. I adore all animals and have tons of experience with them. I have animals of my own but always love getting to spend time with others and getting to know others. Must be house broken/trained (to potty outside), with the exception of puppies. I am retired, so I’m always here to give extra cuddles, potty breaks, play time and walks. I really love their company! Tell me their routine while at home with you and I will do my best to ensure it stays the same when in my care. We have a large fenced yard with shade in a small and quiet subdivision. Our home is two story so plenty of room for playing and naps. If they do not care stairs, I will ensure stay on the main floor. Our neighborhood is perfect for walks. I have crates if they are crate trained and you prefer that, but that is not necessary unless that is your preference. Being on the furniture or bed in our home is fine with me too. I give extra special attention if they are nervous for any reason such as thunderstorms, loud noises (such as fireworks on a holiday). I am very attentive and adapt to small things such as if they just don't like going out in the rain. I always send daily updates including photos, videos & text throughout their stay.
About: I've been an animal lover all of my life. I had cats for most of my childhood and early adulthood. They were my best buddies who cuddled and slept with me, as well as posed for drawings and paintings. About 18 years ago I adopted a pit mix, named Humble. He was the most gentle giant you could ever meet. He accompanied me on camping and hiking trips in Maine. He passed away a few years ago. Now I'm the lucky mom of a rescue dog named Chance. He is an 8 year old undetermined breed. He may be a Doxie mixed with Papillion. I rescued him from the streets of China. I was working as an ESL teacher in Shenzhen,China at the time. He is one of my best friends and I spoil him with lots of love, treats and walks. I am a certified yoga teacher, artist and pet care provider.
