“She is the one if you have a cat/cats! So this was my first Rover experience and I didn’t have anything to compare it to other than having a friend check on our cat while we were gone. I haven’t gone away longer than a couple days since having Hunter because I worry about him being stressed and confused. If you love a cat/cats, you know how it is. We want to take them with, but it is even more stressful and sometimes dangerous for some of them. As far as Victoria goes, she has set the bar really high and I only want her to pet sit for us for as long as she is on here. Our meet and greet went well and her energy was very pet friendly and warm. My cat can be a weirdo about changes and new people, but he did approach and smell her during that initial meeting. While we were away she took great care of him and sent photos which helped us to relax and enjoy our time. We really lucked out and I hope good people continue to sign up to do this service especially for us cat owners. Rover itself was easy to use and I think the fee (separate from the daily rate) is fair as of 10/2024 because the ease of finding someone, reading reviews, entering payment info, messaging, and photos. The only days i am consistently away from the house are Wednesdays from 10 to 3 and Thursdays from 11 to 6 when im at class. I have a fenced-in yard part of it is what i call my rainy day yard which is truf grass with a 3 ft fence around it ... I also have a 6ft fence around the while back yard for the dry days that make the play space much bigger ... but who wants to play in the rain anyways lol. About: I love any animal and always welcome any fur baby, temporary or permanent you can trust that your pet is in good hands! I have many years experience taking care of kittens, puppies, cats, dogs, horses, goats, birds, even reptiles. I actually had a Russian Tortoise as a pet for over 17 years....the only pet I couldn't really tolerate would be a Tarantula...never been to fond of the spiders. Snakes are on a fine line as well, if necessary i will care for a snake but its not a personal favorite i guess you can say. I always wanted to become a Veterinarian growing up as a child but instead i started a family at the age of 20...I now am the proud mama of 3 boys, 4 dogs, 3 cats, 1 new kitten and a fish!!!!!!
