“We needed to board Cotton, our 7-month-old Cock-a-poo for four days while my husband was in the hospital. To say we were apprehensive was a huge understatement! It was our first time boarding him. We picked Scott and Heather from their Profile on Rover and then arranged a “Meet-and-Greet” to assure ourselves that Cotton would be a good fit. Cotton weighs 11 pounds and Scott has larger dogs who turned out to be gentle companions. At this initial meeting, Scott was able to satisfactorily answer every question we had, to include such things as “how do we prevent Cotton from running away since he has to be “on leash” whenever a door is opened?” Or, “How do you plan to feed him since he grazes and he’ll be around the other dogs?” Every question—Answered! And, he was very flexible with our arrival and pick-up schedules, which were hard for us to nail down! From shortly after we dropped Cotton off, Scott sent us pictures of how he was getting along with the family and the family dogs. We began to relax! Over the next couple of days, and with our encouragement, Scott sent multiple pics and even a few videos to show us how our pup was getting along. He showed pics of Cotton with his other dogs, with his family and even a pic of an exhausted Cotton asleep on his lap! We were very grateful! We would be more than happy to leave Cotton with this family again! And we would highly recommend them for your pet’s boarding.”

About: About ten years ago, a friend of mine asked, "Jenny, do you think it's a coincidence that you love every cat you meet or are you going to admit you're a cat lady?" I didn't grow up with cats, so as an adult, when I was confronted with another cat in my friend group or dating partner, I found myself endlessly delighted by each of their quirks. Each cat I have come across seems to be unique, quirky, and alternately fastidious and charming. The one piece of advice a previous partner said that I've never forgotten is "Ru will tell you how she likes to be pet". And that piece of advice has proven its weight every time it's tested. I have a 9yo domestic short hair tabby of 9lbs and she's a precious sweetheart. Recently she's become an outdoor porch cat, which has delighted me as much as it has given me anxious pause every time she wanders where I can't see her. I have previous experience in house sitting a friend's 2 cats while they went on vacations. About: I’ve had/been around many different types of dogs my entire life. My family would always want me to come over and train/watch theirs animals for them like I was the go to person for anybody who got a new pet. About: I have been around dogs my whole life. Dogs seem to take to me well. I’ve worked as a junior groomer for a few months and trained my own dog. During winter, if the weather doesn't permit driving, I will contact you and ensure that as soon as I can drive, I will be there to give your pet much-needed potty breaks and playtime. About: I have raised many different types of dogs for 15+ years. For the last 5 years, I have housed many different animals in need. I have trained puppies, as well as nervous, and abused dogs. “We needed to board Cotton, our 7-month-old Cock-a-poo for four days while my husband was in the hospital. To say we were apprehensive was a huge understatement! It was our first time boarding him. We picked Scott and Heather from their Profile on Rover and then arranged a “Meet-and-Greet” to assure ourselves that Cotton would be a good fit. Cotton weighs 11 pounds and Scott has larger dogs who turned out to be gentle companions. At this initial meeting, Scott was able to satisfactorily answer every question we had, to include such things as “how do we prevent Cotton from running away since he has to be “on leash” whenever a door is opened?” Or, “How do you plan to feed him since he grazes and he’ll be around the other dogs?” Every question—Answered! And, he was very flexible with our arrival and pick-up schedules, which were hard for us to nail down! From shortly after we dropped Cotton off, Scott sent us pictures of how he was getting along with the family and the family dogs. We began to relax! Over the next couple of days, and with our encouragement, Scott sent multiple pics and even a few videos to show us how our pup was getting along. He showed pics of Cotton with his other dogs, with his family and even a pic of an exhausted Cotton asleep on his lap! We were very grateful! We would be more than happy to leave Cotton with this family again! And we would highly recommend them for your pet’s boarding.”

About: I am a reliable, loving dog and cat owner dedicated to providing a relaxed, safe environment for my animals. I have two 4-yr old Doberman mixes I adopted from Saipan, a sister and brother: Ruby and Charlie. I also have a 2-yr old rescue cat, Ollie. My dear Bichon, Hubie, passed last year, but I took care of him for 6 of his golden years! Therefore, I’m capable of taking care of dogs from under 1 yr to senior age. I’m also comfortable feeding them and providing medication if needed. Finally, I have the closest emergency vets mapped on my phone if the unfortunate need should arise. I have a job that requires I work on-site two days a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays. However, I am free MWF, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm. Provided I am given a week’s notice, I can offer overnight boarding from Friday to Monday evening. I understand most dogs don’t do well with being alone during the day. And it is stressful trying to find someone kind and responsible to be there for your pup. When I became a brand new pet owner in 2019, I remember how nervous I was looking for a trusted sitter to care for my Bichon, Hubie, while I was at work. I thankfully found a great one and I’d like to provide that same assurance to others. I can provide companionship with love and belly rubs, play via a fenced-in backyard, and fellow doggy playmates. Of course, I’d need to ensure your critter gets along with my brood before taking them on. :) I walk my dogs at least twice a day so they get plenty of exercise. If you have a small senior dog who needs fresh air, I’m fine to carry them in a backpack or push them in a stroller. :) And if they’re comfortable in the car, I can walk them at the park!
