“Ashley and family were great! If I could give her 10 stars I would. We planned a weekend in Rocky Mount and booked boarding for our dog at a local boarding place. We dropped her off and before we left they let us know she was too anxious and would not be able to tolerate the whole weekend there. We tried one other boarding facility and they had a similar set up so I knew she wouldn't be able to stay there either. I found Ashley on rover and messaged her about booking for the weekend last minute. Our dog is very anxious around other dogs which becomes aggression because she gets so worked up. Ashley was able to keep her for the weekend and keep her separated from their other dogs in the home. I was very relieved to know she was safe and taken care and that the other dogs in the home were safe too. When we arrive Harley went right in with them and was happy when we picked her up! They were very understanding and accommodated us so we did not have to cancel our trip last minute. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! About: My late dog Casey (d. May 2026) was dog-reactive, and I found out firsthand how hard it is to find a dogsitter without any personal pets or other clients in the home for dogs like her when I travel. I always had at least one dog and cat in the home growing up, but Casey taught me how to set animals up for success by accepting them as they are and adjusting to their needs-- medical, emotional, and physical. For dog boarding, I would like to use my house and fenced-in yard to give other pets a quiet respite when their owners need to travel-- walks, naps, and play included-- and give owners the peace of mind that their pet is somewhere comfortable and safe when they are away. I sanitize and clean my house thoroughly after each pet's visit and pick up the dog poops from my yard to reduce any illness spread between dogs. For housesitting, I would treat your pet and house as I would want my own to be treated if a sitter stayed-- as it was left if not cleaner. On weekends, your pet will have my full attention. Any errand outside of the house I need to run is less than an hour. I will take cues from your pet and your directions on how to occupy your pet's day. On weekdays, I work a 8-to-4 job with flexibility. I typically wake at 6:30AM, return around noon to check on pets + give attention/walk, and stay home after work. Depending on your pet's needs, we can burn off energy or unwind together before I ensure that your pet is settled in for the night with my bedroom door open for nighttime access. As someone whose late dog who had medical and social needs, I will follow your care instructions for your pet in activities, mealtimes, and other concerns, along with medicine administration if needed. I will not be leaving your pet alone in the yard; your pet will be kept indoor in A/C with access to the living room and kitchen during weekdays. Please plan to bring some of your pet's comfort items (toys and treats) along with their necessities to ensure they have something from home for boarding. For new clients boarding in my home, I would ask that you are present for at least fifteen minutes when dropping off your pet to allow acclimation to the space and association with me as someone positive while you and I review care instructions for your pet. If meeting in the home is not possible for boarding, a time for your pet to meet me in a Meet & Greet is essential ahead of time. I want your pet's initial time with me to be as stress-free as possible.

Always up to you in the end. I have muzzels and a Kennel at both homes (if needed) , cat litter boxes at both locations as well. Leases safety collars , and for a small added fee , daily health tracking during the stay with a special collar monitor tracking device that I have. About: Me and my wife love animals. We have a cat an a dog in our home country, the Schnauzer and the kitty from the picts. Sadly t they are not living with us right now. We love animals, we feel very comfortable around them and enjoy their company. My work is flexible son I can be with them anytime. We do not travel very often, so weekends work for us as well. I ask that you bring your own as that is what your dog is used to, it's own safe space. If they are not crate/ kennel trained, I do have a large space to roam with a fence. If the pup is a small bread I do have a play pen for your pups safety.

Currently living with my own two dogs and a cat, I understand the need for a trustworthy care taker for my babies. I care about the wellbeing of animals so much, I plan on going to vet school! There is no animal that is too much for me! I can do drop in vists through out the day as I have a few hours scattered through the day between classes and practice. If you needed longer daily walks, I could take your pet out in the morning and leave them tired for the day! I could also provide short boarding services to a dog or cat that is friendly with other animals. My own animals have been around various other animals and are well trained so as long as your pet is friendly they would get along great! Every animal is different and require diffreent treatment. I approach all animals and enviorments with understanding and patience, allowing the animal to communicate their needs in any given senario. I can groom, trim nails, give medication, bathe, and even work on training on things such as leash walking if you would like that. About: My late dog Casey (d. May 2026) was dog-reactive, and I found out firsthand how hard it is to find a dogsitter without any personal pets or other clients in the home for dogs like her when I travel. I always had at least one dog and cat in the home growing up, but Casey taught me how to set animals up for success by accepting them as they are and adjusting to their needs-- medical, emotional, and physical. For dog boarding, I would like to use my house and fenced-in yard to give other pets a quiet respite when their owners need to travel-- walks, naps, and play included-- and give owners the peace of mind that their pet is somewhere comfortable and safe when they are away. I sanitize and clean my house thoroughly after each pet's visit and pick up the dog poops from my yard to reduce any illness spread between dogs. For housesitting, I would treat your pet and house as I would want my own to be treated if a sitter stayed-- as it was left if not cleaner. On weekends, your pet will have my full attention. Any errand outside of the house I need to run is less than an hour. I will take cues from your pet and your directions on how to occupy your pet's day. On weekdays, I work a 8-to-4 job with flexibility. I typically wake at 6:30AM, return around noon to check on pets + give attention/walk, and stay home after work. Depending on your pet's needs, we can burn off energy or unwind together before I ensure that your pet is settled in for the night with my bedroom door open for nighttime access. As someone whose late dog who had medical and social needs, I will follow your care instructions for your pet in activities, mealtimes, and other concerns, along with medicine administration if needed. I will not be leaving your pet alone in the yard; your pet will be kept indoor in A/C with access to the living room and kitchen during weekdays. Please plan to bring some of your pet's comfort items (toys and treats) along with their necessities to ensure they have something from home for boarding. For new clients boarding in my home, I would ask that you are present for at least fifteen minutes when dropping off your pet to allow acclimation to the space and association with me as someone positive while you and I review care instructions for your pet. If meeting in the home is not possible for boarding, a time for your pet to meet me in a Meet & Greet is essential ahead of time. I want your pet's initial time with me to be as stress-free as possible.

About: I’ve had 2 dogs in my lifetime. They were potty trained when they were puppies. One of them was trained to go to the diaper, but then they were both trained to ask to go potty outside by standing by the door and bark. They were spoiled with love, food, and a bunch of fun. If they needed medication, we would administer it to them. When one of my dogs became old and couldn’t jump onto or from the bed, we got him a small stair so he could get onto his favorite spot on the bed. Sometimes he would ask to potty in the middle of the night and I would get up to take him out in the back yard so he could relieve himself. I currently work full time but my wife currently stays home all day. Your pet would be taken care of in the morning before heading to work and then my wife would take care of your pet during the rest of the day. Then I could take care of them in the afternoon. We can do boarding all week long. I have a fenced back yard where your pet can run around. There are no plants that are harmful to them. I have two cats that can keep your pet company. I can easily crate your dog if required or requested.
