About: My husband and I have been fostering dogs since February 2023. Sadly (or happily, rather), several of those fosters became foster fails. We went from having 1 dog and 2 cats to 4 dogs and 4 cats…but we wouldn’t have it any other way :) Our 4 cats are all extremely friendly and loving. Charlie is 6, Harley is 3, and Sweet Potato and Clementine just turned 1. Every single one of our dogs is a rescue. Molly is 9 months, Banjo is 7 months, Mia is 10-12 years, and Georgie is 8-10 years. Molly & Banjo were rescued with Paws of the Pines Rescue based in Southern Pines, NC. Mia & Georgie are a sister duo that we found dumped in the woods, and are the best senior pups we’ve ever encountered. My husband and I care deeply for all animals and do this because we love it, not for the money. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you’re in need of care. We will do what we can to serve you! I (Megan) wake up at 4:30 daily to let the dogs out, walk them, and feed them breakfast. I leave for work at 6. Jacob then wakes up and cares for the dogs until he leaves for work at 7. The dogs are crated until we come home. After work they engage in another walk, training, puzzles, you name it, and are highly active until bedtime around 9. The cats have an automatic feeder and water fountain. They love lounging around in the living room if the dogs are calm. All 4 cats are friendly and curious. Harley hangs around outside most of the day and the orange brothers are in and out as they please. Charlie is mostly indoors with the occasional peek at the outside world. Pets that enter my home will remain in the main living area with the puppies. The cats in my home are free to roam through the whole house. Dogs will need to be crate trained and okay other pets. I will accommodate their meals according to the owners’ requests. We are an active family, so walks are common!

About: I've had pet cats throughout my life but I found my soul cat about 3 years ago and now I know all there is to know about them. I'll make sure you're fur babies are well loved and taken care of, and respected. I don't mind cleaning the litter boxes, that's just what you do when you love the fur balls.
About: I was raised with a variety of cats and dogs for 25 years, volunteered in a shelter while I was in school, and helped with herpetological demonstrations and assisted with their care. The last few years I have had further opportunity to care for coworkers' pets as I house sat for fellow nurses traveling . I have sat for everything from dogs and cats to lizards, snakes, fish, rabbits, even horses, pigs, goats, and chickens. I work as a nurse full time which allows me a relatively flexible schedule for drop in visits over the weekdays and and stretches of time off for longer stays. Flexibility is my motto; I am able to drop by for walks or let them out into the yard if there's fencing, all depending on your preference. I can free feed or work off a schedule, ect. I have worked with everyone from those asking me to just stop by to check the house and take in mail, no pets involved, to another asking for overnight stays with an anxious rescue on a feeding regimen and medication requirements.
About: I have lots of experience with walking, exercising, play dates, overnight pet sitting, washing, brushing, feeding, and giving them medicine. No problems with large dog breeds or with lifting elderly pets. I am comfortable adminstering medicine through food or using a pill pusher or pill pockets. Growing up one of my cats had issues with her kidneys and I administered her pills with a pusher as it was the only way to reliability know she received her life saving medicine every morning. I have a young cat of my own who is a bit on the spunky side but I love him reguardless of all the sass! At the SPCA I made sure all our cats in the facility were fed and had a clean kennel. I have also been responsible for taking care of my cousins three cats, and my aunts two indoor cars, and several outside animals consisting of cats, dogs, and chickens. I’ve also owned a Labrador, and currently own a calico cat. I also volunteer to host dogs on the weekends that are currently held at Saving Grace. I currently have a full time job, but am free in afternoons and on weekends. Currently on Thursdays and Fridays I am working from home. When taking care of animals, i make sure they have clean fresh water. I also make sure I give them the amount of food their owner has requested. About: Like everyone else on this app, I love dogs, and grew up with German Shepherds However, I started on the rover app because I wanted to provide something I thought was missing… reliable pet care for high energy and athletic dogs. I travel a lot and the last thing I want to worry about is if my 70 pound GSD is wearing out the kind old lady I left her with because that’s who was available. Rest assured, if you leave your dog with me for work or for play, I’ll treat them as if they were my own. Need daily runs or multiple walks a day? Good. We run every day. Need yard play time? Not a problem. Extra belly rubs? Easy. Is your Dog a couch potato? I have a couch and have happy to give rubs and chill out. The point is, weather for a week or a weekend, if you leave your dog with me, you can focus on where ever your travels are taking you. I have a pretty demanding full time job. I’m only available for boarding in my home. If I’m home, your dog has 100% of my focus. I have a very well trained and very social GSD and a large fenced in yard. About: I am 36 years old and I have had animals my whole life growing up of all different sizes. I love all animals like they are my own. I am a dog owner myself so I can pick up on certain behaviors. I am able to give them medication my dog has allergies and I give him medicine daily. I am prior military with an active security clearance so you can trust me with your home and your beloved family member(dog). They will be well taken care of and have a great time in my care. My schedule is usually always open and as a pet parent,I will always provide the best care for your pet when you are away. I can do overnight animal sitting, if necessary as well as during the day. Because of my housing arrangements, I cannot offer boarding. As a pet owner, I totally understand the questions and concerns of leaving your pet in the care of someone else. About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. Growing up I was around breeds such as Labradors, Cocker Spaniels, Chows, German Shepards, Poodles and Lhasa Apsos. The first time I became a dog mom was to Zoe, a Bichon Frise. I lived in Chicago at the time in an apartment so I had to walk her multiple times a day. Bichons also need a lot of maintenance with their fur, so I’m very familiar with grooming methods of that type of breed. After Zoe, I became a dog mom to a Pit Bull/German Shepherd puppy, Garner. I got him when he was 8 weeks old and had him for 13.5 years. I understand the level of care a puppy needs as well as a senior dog. I’m also very familiar with handling large breeds on a leash. I understand how a pet is part of the family and I will show your dog lots of love and affection, just like I would my own. I am available Monday-Friday 8am-2pm then from 6pm-8pm. I’m available 7am-10pm on Saturday and Sunday. Please contact me if you need help outside of those times and I can try to work with you. I’m not able to keep your dog in my home, but I will always make sure your dog is safe in your home. I will always follow your safety protocols.

About: I have been a professional trainer for over 15 years. I love puppies, small dogs, and bully breeds in particular. I am comfortable giving medications and providing custom care. Looking after your pets is my number once focus everyday and throughout the week. They are the first thing I take care of when I wake up and the last thing I take care of when I go to sleep. About: I've grown up caring for multiple breeds of dogs and some cats. I have adopted an older Lab Mix from a kill shelter and he is the sweetest, calm and loving dog. Large dogs are my specialty but I love smaller dogs as well. Caring for them comes natural, on top of giving them plenty of space to run and exercise. About: I have taken care of dogs and other kinds of pets since I was 14. My family and friends rely on me to come check in, walk, and play with their pets. I am available anytime during the day this summer. I do have a couple vacations already planned but I will communicate if something conflicts with the care you need for your pets! I just recently moved from my parents house where we had four, including a rescue I brought back from an overseas deployment. I also have experience caring for senior pets, including my childhood pet, a 14 year old Siamese in her final years, where I provided comfort, medication support, and close monitoring. I’ve fostered multiple litters of kittens, including bottle feeding, scheduled care, and neonatal support (including stimulation for bathroom and feeding routines), so I’m very comfortable with young or high needs animals. About: I have had animals my whole life. Couldn’t imagine life without them. I have had English Mastiff/Great Danes( not afraid of some drool) to Jack Russell’s. I currently do not have any employment. I’m extremely bored at home. I would like to get out of the house doing something I know I would love. About: My husband and I have been fostering dogs since February 2023. Sadly (or happily, rather), several of those fosters became foster fails. We went from having 1 dog and 2 cats to 4 dogs and 4 cats…but we wouldn’t have it any other way :) Our 4 cats are all extremely friendly and loving. Charlie is 6, Harley is 3, and Sweet Potato and Clementine just turned 1. Every single one of our dogs is a rescue. Molly is 9 months, Banjo is 7 months, Mia is 10-12 years, and Georgie is 8-10 years. Molly & Banjo were rescued with Paws of the Pines Rescue based in Southern Pines, NC. Mia & Georgie are a sister duo that we found dumped in the woods, and are the best senior pups we’ve ever encountered. My husband and I care deeply for all animals and do this because we love it, not for the money. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you’re in need of care. We will do what we can to serve you! I (Megan) wake up at 4:30 daily to let the dogs out, walk them, and feed them breakfast. I leave for work at 6. Jacob then wakes up and cares for the dogs until he leaves for work at 7. The dogs are crated until we come home. After work they engage in another walk, training, puzzles, you name it, and are highly active until bedtime around 9. The cats have an automatic feeder and water fountain. They love lounging around in the living room if the dogs are calm. All 4 cats are friendly and curious. Harley hangs around outside most of the day and the orange brothers are in and out as they please. Charlie is mostly indoors with the occasional peek at the outside world. Pets that enter my home will remain in the main living area with the puppies. The cats in my home are free to roam through the whole house. Dogs will need to be crate trained and okay other pets. I will accommodate their meals according to the owners’ requests. We are an active family, so walks are common!

About: Like everyone else on this app, I love dogs, and grew up with German Shepherds However, I started on the rover app because I wanted to provide something I thought was missing… reliable pet care for high energy and athletic dogs. I travel a lot and the last thing I want to worry about is if my 70 pound GSD is wearing out the kind old lady I left her with because that’s who was available. Rest assured, if you leave your dog with me for work or for play, I’ll treat them as if they were my own. Need daily runs or multiple walks a day? Good. We run every day. Need yard play time? Not a problem. Extra belly rubs? Easy. Is your Dog a couch potato? I have a couch and have happy to give rubs and chill out. The point is, weather for a week or a weekend, if you leave your dog with me, you can focus on where ever your travels are taking you. I have a pretty demanding full time job. I’m only available for boarding in my home. If I’m home, your dog has 100% of my focus. I have a very well trained and very social GSD and a large fenced in yard. I also have rooms I can fence off to give your dog some space. I’m happy to play fetch, take multiple walks, and daily runs if needed.
