“My pup Pickles stayed with Brody for a week while I was out of town. Brody has great demeanor and command with all the dogs he takes care of. Always seems to have multiple on site which was a bonus for me as it gave Pickles lots of social time with the others. Every dog that was there, when I was present, listened well and and seemed very happy. I had the chance to check out the set-up before booking and there's plenty of room to roam, play or relax - whether each dog wants to socialize or just hang out by themselves. Finally, his "dog cave" (think Man-Cave/She-shed) was perfect for the dogs to cool off and sleep in a climate controlled and peaceful environment - with each dog having their own crate to call home. Brody provided pics/videos of Pickles to ease my mind - knowing he was being well taken care of and happy in my absence.”

I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for years, and I've learned that it's not about what I want — it's about honoring what the owner has built with their pet. I work with the public in my day job, so patience is second nature to me. Pets are no different. They need someone who can read their energy, stay calm, and meet them where they're at. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. I match their pace, not mine. I don't know if anything really sets me apart from other sitters. I just genuinely want to be there for the furry family member. My availability in inconsistent due to Firefighting but I will always respond as soon as I'm able too. I understand due to my schedule I won't the best sitter for if you need someone daily, but if you need someone to drop-in, walk your dog, or just need a night out, feel free to leave a message. Currently working for a fire department, schedule can be inconsistent. Great for drop in play times and walks. Days off from fire department can be great for unexpected care. Currently unable to have pets in home due to renting rules. Will make sure to confirm and follow all rules with you before accepting the job.
About: I've had and taken care of my own dogs ranging from Great Danes to chihuahuas and everything in between, I would go to friends and family members house just to play with the animals. I love providing care and love to any furbaby near me!! About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I have been taking care of animals since I was 15 years old. I stared working at a vets office and haven’t looked back. Pet care can look like many different things in my week such as, a single feeding, a walk, a check in or the full on in home service with all the feedings and all the walks. While, I would love to have every dog and cat over to my house I can’t realistically do that b/c I own a cat who does love other cats and she tolerates dogs, your dog or cat would have to be cat friendly. So most of my jobs are me coming to your home whether that is a drop in or a full time boarding situation while you’re on vacation.

About: Have had pets my entire life, bred multiple reptiles in the past, have had several dogs over the years, exotics, still have a 23 year old african grey who is my middle child who won't leave the nest, spent a decade volunteering at a no-kill shelter, multiple animal rescues, have worked in multiple veterinary offices, been vegetarian since 1997, worked as a vegan chef in several restaurants, and still love to cook for potlucks, friends and fun! “My pup Pickles stayed with Brody for a week while I was out of town. Brody has great demeanor and command with all the dogs he takes care of. Always seems to have multiple on site which was a bonus for me as it gave Pickles lots of social time with the others. Every dog that was there, when I was present, listened well and and seemed very happy. I had the chance to check out the set-up before booking and there's plenty of room to roam, play or relax - whether each dog wants to socialize or just hang out by themselves. Finally, his "dog cave" (think Man-Cave/She-shed) was perfect for the dogs to cool off and sleep in a climate controlled and peaceful environment - with each dog having their own crate to call home. Brody provided pics/videos of Pickles to ease my mind - knowing he was being well taken care of and happy in my absence.”
