About: Hello! I’m a long time pet lover and house sitter (of my own place) I have interacted with many pets of my friends and worked at animal shelters. My experience with pets starts in high school when I volunteered at the local animal shelter cleaning out kennels, grooming and playing with cats and dogs. I then graduated to being a pet auntie for my friends animals and then pet sitting for various clients. I love pets, they are adorable and I can’t wait until I can have my own! Until then, I guess I’ll just pet sit…. I work from home on most days, so my schedule is flexible enough to allow me to look after pets such as spending quality time, potty breaks, exercising via walks and playing with cat toys. When I care for pets in their home, I take care to read all of the instructions and look after the home. “She is the one if you have a cat/cats! So this was my first Rover experience and I didn’t have anything to compare it to other than having a friend check on our cat while we were gone. I haven’t gone away longer than a couple days since having Hunter because I worry about him being stressed and confused. If you love a cat/cats, you know how it is. We want to take them with, but it is even more stressful and sometimes dangerous for some of them. As far as Victoria goes, she has set the bar really high and I only want her to pet sit for us for as long as she is on here. Our meet and greet went well and her energy was very pet friendly and warm. My cat can be a weirdo about changes and new people, but he did approach and smell her during that initial meeting. While we were away she took great care of him and sent photos which helped us to relax and enjoy our time. We really lucked out and I hope good people continue to sign up to do this service especially for us cat owners. Rover itself was easy to use and I think the fee (separate from the daily rate) is fair as of 10/2024 because the ease of finding someone, reading reviews, entering payment info, messaging, and photos. About: As a kid we always had indoor and outdoor cats. As an adult we have elderly dogs who are not cat friendly but when we purchased our home, a cat came with it. The cat is dog smart and we are very careful about having them outside together. The cat is an outdoor cat but has his own “home” areas on our front and back deck.

We live in a very quiet area with a large fenced in backyard for lots of running and playing. About: My name is Carlee and I’ve been pet/house sitting for about 6 years now. I have experience taking care of small and medium sized dogs, I’ve taken care of both senior dogs and puppies as well as cats! I’d love to grow my experience and am willing to learn just about anything! I currently work 30 hours a week at my regular job, but my schedule is never consistent. I have still been able to work around it and do stop ins regularly for my clients. Typically I work 6-8 hour shifts so I would not be able to stop in during that time. But I am always able to stop in immediately before my shift and directly after. Aside from that, I am able to stay either full time with your pet or do stop ins however often you would prefer. About: I’ve owned some kind of dog or cat all my life. From 150lbs to 20lbs, then down to cat sizes! We currently have a 15 year old Great Pyrenees/Border Collie mix. But Tara took everything at Gracie's pace and she ended up loving all the other puppies and kittens! She sent at least 1 pic a day to she how she was doing and a little update!
