“She is the one if you have a cat/cats! So this was my first Rover experience and I didn’t have anything to compare it to other than having a friend check on our cat while we were gone. I haven’t gone away longer than a couple days since having Hunter because I worry about him being stressed and confused. If you love a cat/cats, you know how it is. We want to take them with, but it is even more stressful and sometimes dangerous for some of them. As far as Victoria goes, she has set the bar really high and I only want her to pet sit for us for as long as she is on here. Our meet and greet went well and her energy was very pet friendly and warm. My cat can be a weirdo about changes and new people, but he did approach and smell her during that initial meeting. While we were away she took great care of him and sent photos which helped us to relax and enjoy our time. We really lucked out and I hope good people continue to sign up to do this service especially for us cat owners. Rover itself was easy to use and I think the fee (separate from the daily rate) is fair as of 10/2024 because the ease of finding someone, reading reviews, entering payment info, messaging, and photos. I would absolutely use this provider and Rover again.”

About: Hi! We are Nia and Miguel and would love to welcome your pet to their vacation home! We both have experience with many different sizes, breeds and temperaments! We live in a very quiet area with a large fenced in backyard for lots of running and playing. We both have over 10 years of experience working with cats and dogs and have always had pets in our homes.We look forward to speaking with you and spending time with your fur family! Nia works from home and has the ability to provide extra care and attention to those who need it. Between both of our schedules, we are able to provide day services and overnight boarding if needed. I have a large fenced in backyard with 3 very friendly adult/elderly mixed breed dogs to keep them company. All 3 of our dogs have been around other dogs and cats for many years have no bite history.

About: Hi! i did private boarding for 14 years but only want to keep 1 or 2 from same family at a time since I'm retired. Guests are only crated when I am away from home. Recently retired and home 24/7. I have a super flexible schedule to allow for plenty of play time and walks around my farm. Must be cat friendly as I also work with cat rescue organizations and have 2 inside cats of my own. I have a super large, fenced yard with two 7 year old Border Collies who get along with everyone and everything. In addition, I have a large screened porch for an additional space. I love walks and can take yours, too, for no additional charge.

About: I’ve owned some kind of dog or cat all my life. From 150lbs to 20lbs, then down to cat sizes! We currently have a 15 year old Great Pyrenees/Border Collie mix. I am a stay at home mom of a 2 year old, I am available regularly and on the go. Some notice is great but can usually make myself available asap! We have 5 acres in the country and a decent sized fenced area for dogs. Sadie loves getting her freedom of being outdoors while also being safe. About: I have had cats and dogs in my life since I was little. I have always had a strong passion for animal care and showing all animals the love they deserve. I have put in volunteer hours at the local county fair within the barn, caring for and feeding the farm animals. I have also completed a trading course in farm animal care and veterinary medicine. I then graduated to being a pet auntie for my friends animals and then pet sitting for various clients. I love pets, they are adorable and I can’t wait until I can have my own! Until then, I guess I’ll just pet sit…. I work from home on most days, so my schedule is flexible enough to allow me to look after pets such as spending quality time, potty breaks, exercising via walks and playing with cat toys. When I care for pets in their home, I take care to read all of the instructions and look after the home. This can include administering medications, accommodating different diets and walking styles (such as the slow walkers, the sniffers, the neighborhood watchers). I make sure to leave the home the way I found it because that is what I would like if I was the pet parent.
About: I have taken care of dogs for over 36 years now. Fed, housed, and taken them to the vet when needed. I walk them also. I work part time at a retail store approximately 15 hours a week. This would allow plenty of time to watch your pet when needed. The instructions given by the client would be followed exactly and maybe a little fun included also maybe.
