“Can't say how much we appreciate Kayli. A feral cat brought her 5 kittens into my shop 6 weeks ago. We had our summer vacation already booked and desperately needed a caring quality person to come and feed and play with our new dependents. We rescued the kittens, Kayli rescued us. We purchased a large cage we call the cat castle. Kayli would come in the morning and let them play, and while cleaning up and then feed the crew. She would come back and do this procedure again in the evening. Kayli was also kind enough to bring in deliveries that you think were properly put on hold but for some reason shipped anyway. We came home to happy well adjusted and ready to be adopted kittens. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing care for their furry family members. Kayli has a big heart and a great work ethic.”
About: I have Boston terriers, cats, goats, an a donkey. I grew up on a small farm. I have rested animals from birth and up. I'm a mother of 6, with 11 grandkids and 2 great grandkids. I'm a 10 month employee for West Wilkes High school as a bus driver and custodian. I'm free most of the summer since I'm only a 10 month Wilkes County School employee. When school is in I work at West Wilkes High School from 6-8am and 11:30-6pm. I live on a 10 acre small farm that I grew up on. My dogs have a fenced in yard and a doggie door. They have their own bedroom for when we are away from home and sleep with me at night. They are feed twice a day and have a monthly barkbox subscription.

About: I’ve been a lifelong animal lover and pet owner, with experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently share my home with my husband and three friendly dogs and two cats who love to socialize with new friends (as long as they are calm and polite around cats). Living on 5 beautiful acres, we have plenty of space for dogs to explore, play, and enjoy fresh air. There’s also a fenced area for safe outdoor time and a quiet room inside for pets who prefer their own space or need downtime away from others. I treat every pet as part of the family - providing personalized care, a comfortable environment, and lots of love and attention. I work from my home office, so I’m here throughout the day to give pets plenty of attention and supervision. My flexible schedule allows me to adjust to each pet’s normal routine - whether that means morning walks, midday playtime, or cozy afternoon naps. Dogs enjoy frequent outdoor time or inside play depending on the weather and their comfort level. While I do occasionally step away for short appointments, pets are never left alone for more than two hours at a time, and always in a safe, comfortable space. About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a little girl. I am currently a full-time student at Appalachian State University studying Veterinary Technology. I am going to be entering my third year in the fall. I am looking to spend time with fur babies while I am completing school! I am currently a full-time student studying veterinary technology to become a licensed veterinary technician. My schedule is generally very flexible; on occasion I will have some classes where we meet online. I treat all animals as if they are my own. I am very picky about who I leave my dog with, and do not trust her with sitters often - and Melissa was the perfect sitter to calm my fears! She was so accommodating in every way - pick up and drop off times, date changes, etc. She sent me many pictures and updates on Sasha everyday, and it was a great relief being able to keep up with how Sasha was doing through Melissa's updates. I would recommend Melissa for anyone - her children were VERY sweet, polite, and so welcoming to Sasha during her whole stay. Overall it was a great experience! I will be using Melissa as a sitter in the future for sure. 10/10”
About: Your dog won't just be sitting around in my home, I'll likely be giving it attention or playing with it majority of my time (unless that's not what the dog wants). I love every size of dog, especially very large dogs that love to cuddle. I've owned a lab for 9 years and a blue heeler for 11. My lab has been everything from difficult to the most pleasant dog you'll meet so I have experience with it all. I often go on runs so if you have an athletic dog or one that needs lots of exercise I've got you. I have no time constraints after 2pm half of the week, and 4pm the other half of the week. If I am watching your dog at my place I am definitely not opposed to early morning walks, I enjoy getting up early to walk them.
